Finish ‘Rock Steady’ without faulting or changing your rider's posture.
To start you're going to want to choose the Scorpion 450cc bike for this track. We also recommend that you do a few trial runs to get a feel for the track. Learn what you can do where and how much power a jump really needs, as when it comes to not using your posture, you're going to have to do a nice bit of feathering on the throttle and brakes.
It's quite hard to give solid advice on this as most of the track is a challenge when you're not allowed to balance yourself. All we can say is take your time, practice and hopefully the video below will show you where and when is the best time to floor it or take a nice and easy approach!
Just got this achievement (maybe the first!?) here's some tips i would have found useful.
1. Use the B class bike i think its called the scorpion.
first jump is easy just full throttle then let the bike roll back naturally to make the next jump. then you have a slight downhill but this has an edge to it that will flip you so roll slow to the top then blip power to hop over the edge that will trip you but not too much else the uphill ahead will topple you. Next annoying bit is the steep incline to make this part build up to full throttle and just before your front wheel leaves the near vertical board hit the brake briefly (dont let go of the throttle here. After this stop on the middle platform for a rest and to get rid of speed before making the bit jump to the little ramps and crate
*crater. Then after jumping the water stop again then full throttle which will take you over the next three staggered inclines (you will need to cut the power whilst in the air and or near tops to stop you from flipping) after that its pretty much smooth sailing Hope this helps people :D
Ok so the description is worded wrong because it says "Finish ‘Rock Steady’ without faulting OR changing your rider's posture" so I did just that, the level without faulting, no achievement, same with the others, they should had but AND instead of Or, very misleading.
They're not even being picky, they're just wrong. If they were to use the word "and" it would have to read "without faulting and without changing posture" which means the same thing as "without faulting or changing posture".
I don't mind people being picky about grammar but they should at least have a basic grasp themselves, haha.
Just got this. Tips: watch guide videos, but do NOT strictly follow the style of driving presented in the video. Some spots you can imitate, but others you can drive using your own preferences. Mix it up and with several trials and errors you'll get it eventually.
This game chaps my ass. It seems all of the fun I had was in the trial version of this, and after spending $15 on the full version, all I am is pissed off and can't manage to unlock any achievements. What a shame.
