This achievement was kind of a pain in the ass because most melee weapons will break after three or four kills, and you have to run around trying to find a new weapon. I achieved it with only about 30 seconds left.

Make sure you kill any cops or gangsters once they're holding a melee weapon so they can drop it, then when yours breaks you can replace it quickly.
