This is the same level as in the first Bigs. The best scoring zones (10,000 per hit) are the signs hit with the up+left and up+right power swings. Try to save the power swing accumulated with the gain of 100,000 points for when you have a multiplier activated and aim for the New Years' Ball, the green thing on the upper right, and the blue screen on the upper left. This is a much easier achievement than in the first game as spaces you have hit recover much more quickly in this game.

Your top aiming priority with the power swing should be the Giant Brute (Godzilla-clone) located behind the four up-right power swing billboards.

This venue is unlocked when you complete Become a Legend mode. The best way to score here is to hit the New Year's Ball a second time. In order to get to the New Years' Ball you must first hit the Blue Castle logo with Up+B 6 times (hit it three times, then wait for it to light up again). Then get a power blast and swing with Up+B to hit the New Year's Ball. Now charge a second a power blast and try to get a multiplier active and hit the ball a second time, it will be destroyed but the hit is worth 100,000 (so upwards of 600,000 if you have a big multiplier) which makes it easier to get the 1,000,000.

Choose any venue, Times Square is likely the easiest if you've played the first game, and play with a partner until you make it to 2,000,000.

The entire season can be simulated to get this achievement so long as the World Series is won at the end of the season. The Power Derby is immediately before the All Star Game and must be played (h/t: Sly Breezy).

These can be boosted online assuming you can find your partner. I'm as yet unaware if wins via opponent quitting count towards the achievement. If not use the method listed above in Become a Legend mode when boosting (bunt every single at bat after the team to win scores) to speed things up. Look in the Achievement Trading Thread to find a partner to boost with.

This occurs in season mode immediately before the All Star game, play through it while working towards the other Season Mode achievements.

Set the game to three innings and Super Hard mode. Use an All Star team against one of the weakest teams (one of the Mexican ones) and play as the home team. Fenway is a good option because the monster tends to keep a few home runs per game in the park.

I got this in my first Become a Legend game. They occur when a ball is lined directly at your fielder or hit a long dive away. You will be required to complete either a DDR-lite sort of button pressing minigame (the higher your fielding rating the more time you have to press the buttons) or a 'hold and release' minigame where you hold an indicated button until told to release it.

You need to acquire 125,000 points and use the LB+RB big slam. The big slam mode sees four pitches thrown at four batters in rapid succession, each time you make contact counting as a single until the bases are loaded where any contact is a grand slam.

This requires a bit of luck as you only have the opportunity to throw one pitch to the first batter when facing the computer's big slam which is then repeated for the next three batters. I find it's easiest to get this if you respond to the computer's Big Slam mode with your own Big Heat mode, if you throw a perfect Big Heat pitch there's a good chance the computer will miss it, especially on easier difficulties.

When you have a fast base runner on a second, and a runner on first, use the Y button to take a lead then the LB button to double steal. Make sure to have turbo accumulated (and that the computer doesn't) and use that to guarantee your success.

For the "Best Season Ever" achievement each milestone must be met with a single player, but they can be different players on the same team. Thus, if playing as the Yankees, you can steal 130 bases with Brett Gardner, hit 73 home runs with Alex Rodriguez and get 262 hits with Derek Jeter over the course of a season and each counts towards achieving a Legendary Milestone. You don't need to play every game in the season - you just need to hit each milestone. This can be done with players acquired by trades as well, so feel free to get players with Legendary speed, power and contact to make these easier.

The milestones are 73 HR (Barry Bonds, 2001), 130 SBs (Rickey Henderson, 1982), 262 Hits (Ichiro Suzuki, 2004), 191 RBIs (Hack Wilson, 1930), 41 Wins (Jack Chesbro, 1904) and 383 Ks (Nolan Ryan, 1973) for the season and 4 HR (Has happened 15 times, first by Lou Gehrig, 1932), 7 SBs (George Gore, 1881 and Billy Hamilton, 1894), 9 Hits (Johnny Burnett, 1932), 12 RBIs (Jim Bottomley, 1932 and Mark Whiten, 1993) and 20 Ks (Has happened 3 times in a 9 inning game, Roger Clemens, 1986 & 1996 and Kerry Wood, 1998) in a single game. For useless trivia purposes I've listed the players and year each of these numbers comes from as well.

Same as above, just steal 3 bases in a game. No need for double steals or steals of 3rd. Fast runners can easily steal second on weak throwing catchers without turbo.

Simply hit 5 home runs in a game, they can be done with a big blast or a big slam home run.

Load the bases and a hit a home run. This can be done with the big blast power.

You must activate your big blast power right as the blimp is coming into view over the Luxor (pyramid) in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Swing with  and no direction and the second hit should hit the blimp.

Located with the Up-Right power swing. First you must hit the billboards four times then use a power shot (with up-right) to hit the Giant Brute).

Located with the Up-Left power swing. You must hit it four times, first hitting the letters B-C-G then the globe itself.

This venue is unlocked when you complete Become a Legend mode. In order to get to the New Years' Ball you must first hit the Blue Castle logo with + 6 times (hit it three times, then wait for it to light up again). Then get a power blast and swing with + to hit the New Year's Ball.

Simply throw three strikes (non-foul balls) in a row with the third being in the wheelhouse of a batter with a Legendary batting attribute. Numerous players in the Cooperstown challenges have legendary attributes, as do players such as Pujols, Ramirez or Rodriguez.

Throw a shutout with your starting pitcher. Obviously easiest if put on Easy difficulty and done with a strong pitcher.

Throw a five inning perfect game with your pitcher. Set the difficulty to Easy and use a great pitcher on an All Star team against an extremely weak offensive teams such as Seattle or San Francisco. Focus on throwing perfect pitches and on shrinking the wheelhouses of good players in the first two innings as it's a lot more frustrating to give up a hit to a solid player in the 4th or 5th inning than in the 1st.

Attain a single, double, triple and home run in a game with the same batter. Be careful to pay attention to what your hitters have done as the stat page in-game does not reflect the difference between singles, doubles and triples (though often the announcer will mention what is necessary for the cycle if you're close). The hardest to attain is the triple, make sure to make liberal use of your turbo on a ball that's hit to the wall in the outfield.

Eventually during the course of a season you'll face a pitcher with legendary level pitches, the first time you face one in Become a Legend mode is the first Cooperstown challenge. Alternately just do a play now game against the Yankees and hit a slider from Sabathia.
