![]() | Comment #1 by Judivarious Friday, May 18, 2012 @ 05:11:11 PM and here is your super collectible achievement. Damn, and I thought getting all the collectibles in Prototype 1 was "work", this will only "not" suck if they're so close together and very easy to spot. |
![]() | Comment #2 by Grimicyn Friday, May 18, 2012 @ 05:37:39 PM This is insane... I am hoping it isn't 700 individual pages because that will just be stupid. Combined with the other collectible achievements this is a chore. Still gonna play it though since it looks good! Just not going to max if it is a chore. |
![]() | Comment #3 by ImAKing1987 Friday, May 18, 2012 @ 07:06:34 PM oh wtf?!? well...at least its not as bad as web of shadows...it had like 2000 if my memory is correct...which I believe it is.. (great now Im gonna have nightmares again... :P ) |
![]() | Comment #4 by R4wD0g496 Friday, May 18, 2012 @ 07:17:27 PM Yea but atleast in Web of Shadows, once you collected a certain amount of them then it revealed all the remaining ones on your map, so it wasn't too hard, just a little tedious. Hopefully this does something along those same lines. |
![]() | Comment #5 by DOA_Rose Friday, May 18, 2012 @ 07:40:33 PM Upside: you get to read classic Spider-Man comics as you collect them including Amazing Fantasy #15, the 1st appearance of Spider-Man! |
![]() | Comment #6 by Californigus Friday, May 18, 2012 @ 10:38:32 PM Well there are 440 riddler challenges in Arkham city, i hope these are easy to find. |
![]() | Comment #7 by Bohemian Saturday, May 19, 2012 @ 03:58:17 AM Maybe you can buy some like in a comic book store or something. |
![]() | Comment #8 by richardwarnercool1 Saturday, May 19, 2012 @ 04:23:04 AM Hopefully it'll be one of the following... 1. It's a point based structure. Get 5000 points in a single combo: unlock 15 pages, achieve a 50 hit combo: unlock 45 pages. 2. It's related to how many side missions and how much of the main story you complete. Complete the entire story: unlock 200 comic pages. Complete all side missions: Unlock 150 comic pages. 3. You get them Arkham City style. You can locate them on the map and it will tell you exactly how far you are from the page, so that you don't feel like ripping your hair out because it's just a little bit below where you thought it was meant to be. 4. Or we hope that it's really been done the way #7 suggested. Buy them in a comic book store. |

![]() | Comment #10 by Blue Thunder28 Saturday, May 19, 2012 @ 11:30:52 AM @5 Wow that didn't knoe that! That's so awesome that I no longer care about hunting down 700 collectibles. (if 7 and/or 8 are right then even better) |
![]() | Comment #11 by BluffDarqfox Monday, May 21, 2012 @ 03:00:25 AM Omg... I love this game now... Crackdown collecting orbs... loved it... Collecting "700" COMIC PAGES... YEEESS! |
![]() | Comment #12 by TheWayneAdams Monday, May 21, 2012 @ 11:16:12 AM Hopefully, it will be like, some collectibles, some challenges and some for completing missions. |
![]() | Comment #13 by JLogan27 Monday, May 21, 2012 @ 03:22:23 PM That's about 32 comic books you will have to collect. |
![]() | Comment #14 by Lbrun12415 Monday, May 21, 2012 @ 09:37:16 PM this should of been 100G and Spider-Man should of been like 75G |
![]() | Comment #15 by PerkySquid Saturday, May 26, 2012 @ 04:39:28 PM I enjoy searching for collectibles but 700 takes the piss, Iknow it is t as many as web of shadows but still!! |
![]() | Comment #16 by Predalien90 Sunday, June 17, 2012 @ 12:07:24 AM I doubt its as hard as it seems. In a few of the gameplay videos the player is CONSTANTLY swinging/flying by these things. |
![]() | Comment #17 by Lone Strider 18 Friday, June 22, 2012 @ 06:47:25 PM This is really easy, cause they are easy to spot and highlight for you and you get prompts well swinging around. Also after 500 which is the last comic book you get shown all of them on your mini map, only thing that sucks is that its minimap only that they show them on. But even so its still really simple. |
![]() | Comment #18 by Mull3t55 Saturday, June 23, 2012 @ 10:52:06 PM My tip is to search for these while it's night in the city, makes the gold glow of comic pages a LOT easier to spot from a distance. For me I think it was the start of chapter 5 when it become night time. |
![]() | Comment #19 by Mull3t55 Sunday, June 24, 2012 @ 01:53:29 AM Can also confirm that the remaining 200 become highlighted on your HUD after collecting 500, in the end not a hard task to collect all pages. |
![]() | Comment #20 by Suburban Sensei Wednesday, June 27, 2012 @ 02:22:55 PM This seemed like it would be way too much work, but the fact we get full comics to read, and swinging around Manhattan is so fun, that I will surely get these. Collect-a-thons can be a pain, but to have such a good reward, really gives the player some incentive. |
![]() | Comment #21 by iDeranger Thursday, June 28, 2012 @ 03:53:38 PM After you get 500 of them they will pop up on your mini map :) |
![]() | Comment #22 by Jake317 Saturday, June 30, 2012 @ 04:30:32 AM It is 700, this is super easy during Chapter 5 about 1/2 way through when it becomes night cus they become almost impossible to miss since they're so bright. After you manage to collect 500 the rest show up on the mini map, just swing around for a while and you'll get them, this only took me about 3 hours. |
![]() | Comment #23 by sosavere Sunday, July 01, 2012 @ 12:07:03 AM @8 you are way off. has nothing to do with combos and all that other bullshit you just said. just collect it like everyone else said. once you collect 500 the rest appear on the mini map. its easier at night with the glow. |
![]() | Comment #24 by GamePlayUK Sunday, July 01, 2012 @ 07:15:44 AM When you collect 500 pages, the final 200 show up as yellow dots on your map. I got to 699 and couldn't find the last one anywhere, it just wasn't showing up. I then found out the yellow dot was being covered by another mission marker, after I completed one of the research lab missions the last page showed up on my map and was being hidden by the mission marker. Also the top of Oscorp tower is a common place to find the last flying comic page. |
![]() | Comment #25 by sosavere Sunday, July 01, 2012 @ 12:35:55 PM @gameplayuk yeah that's where i found my last flying page. i was at 699 and systematically went through the whole map and nothing. i decided to take a break and proceed through the story where it tells me to get to Oscorp tower and sure enough it was flying so high that it would not appear on the minimap. |
![]() | Comment #26 by Ryan Jordan Cook Wednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 03:51:42 AM This was a very boring achievement to get but you get used to it buy collecting 2000 spiders on spiderman web of shadows :) |
![]() | Comment #27 by Knomadic Wednesday, July 04, 2012 @ 01:32:35 PM Chap 5 (when its night time) and sitting on the helicopters are golden :) |
![]() | Comment #28 by Hyuzeni Pattasan Sunday, July 08, 2012 @ 08:11:26 PM The best time and easiest to do this comic books hunting is at nighttime on chapter 5. It difficult to find comic books at daytime. After you find 500 comic books hidden around in Manhattan, on the right-lower side, you will see a yellow dots appears that is a comic books. It very similar on "Spidey: Web of Shadows" when you have to find a collectibles in Manhattan. |
![]() | Comment #29 by Woody28 Tuesday, July 10, 2012 @ 10:03:51 AM I'm sure they could have done better than 25G |
![]() | Comment #30 by xDehzire Tuesday, July 31, 2012 @ 11:14:37 PM Took awhile but finally got it. I just waited until I beat the game, so I could change day light hours. And yes, when you get to 500 it does appear on your phone, but not on the main map (start button one), good luck! |
![]() | Comment #31 by onnabugeisha x Friday, September 07, 2012 @ 08:03:06 PM @gameplayuk thanks for the tip. i was at 699 as well then read your post and sure enough, there it was. cheers! |
![]() | Comment #32 by TattooedEnigma Thursday, October 25, 2012 @ 11:19:08 PM stuck at 699 cant find last one, any sgestions?? completed all missions and side missions, last dot just isnt on my map... |
