The key to this is exploration! Explore most maps as much as you can (easier in Fixed World) and use all harmless presents that you feel you don't need for extra points (rather than just dropping them for new presents).
Also try to identify and collect "Promotion" presents which will give an instant rank up (best to save for one of the later ranks since the points required get higher and higher each time. |
