I did this recently.
Its all about abusing the save system... alot! By the end of the game I had
to keep saving after each hit because if I got hit once, it was game over.
Its hard, patience is needed and I didnt get the 800k till i finished off Mr. X |

Do you need to finish the game to get this acheivement, because i get 800k points at the start of round 8 but game over in the elevator on the 3rd boss. |

oh my god that was a bitch. It was to bad that I wound up saving literally after every successful hit, and reloading if I got hit because my lives were so low. But finally got it, 200/200 so happy. |

@ #10: You need to set the game settings to 'Hardcore', not the difficulty. Meaning, you only get one life. |
