Welcome to South Park: Let's Go Tower Defense Play! This is the first South Park franchised game to come out on the Xbox LIVE Arcade, and lets just say, this one is for the fans.
If you don't know what a Tower Defense game is and you're a South Park fan that wants to find out, basically, you just prevent enemies (Ginger kids, zombies, cows, etc) from reaching the other side of the screen. Which apparently gives them access to destroy South Park. Good times. The achievements are all fairly simple, in exception for a couple; Look For Treasure and MANBEARPIG! By far the most difficult two achievements in the game. So lets begin, shall we!
Step 1: First Run Through!
As the title suggests, just simply run through the campaign. This game was obviously made with multiplayer in mind, so grab a friend (or 2 or 3) and pick your favorite character to kill enemies with. As you merry your way through the game, some achievements will just come without even trying (Rochambeau, Come On. Catch Me., Couch Potato, White Trasher, Treasure and Plunder, and Fightin' Round The Round). Don't forget to use the crane outside Kenny's house to net you an easy 20.
Tower Defense games are fairly simple in the idea, but actually quite strategic in the execution. Make good use of your walls and towers. You want to space them out to give a good range of attacks and blocks. Keep in mind, you are also a moving tower! If you play with 4-players, this really makes things easier, as you don't have to worry about controlling all 4 characters on screen (That gets REALLY annoying). Use your Special Abilities at appropriate times, and remember that not every characters' is offensive. Stan's, for example, heals the city's health and Craig's slows down the enemies on screen. Use these characters, as they can be essential to your team effort.
Step 2: Clean Up Duty
Now that you've ran through the story, you can now go back and get the achievements you weren't able to get on the first run through. MANBEARPIG! should definitely be at least one you'll have to attempt, seeing as you aren't able to play the story on Insane difficulty right off the bat. Getting medals will become easier, as you can just replay early levels and destroy, now that you should be a Tower Defense "expert". Platinum is still a very difficult medal to achieve, even while playing on Insane difficulty. Your performance needs to be stellar. And the Challenge levels, although a challenge, really aren't hard to get Bronze medals on.
MANBEARPIG! is actually best played by yourself or two people. It leaves room for less error on accidentally building towers, and you can be sure that your Special Abilities will be reserved properly. Having Craig on your team is a MUST, as his slowdown ability makes a huge difference on the bigger waves, and the fact that he builds it back up quickly is also a plus. Also pick at least one clean-up character (i.e. Pip, Butters, Tweak), as they can take out every enemy on Insane in one clean swoop. They are great to have if a big wave has made it through your initial defense. The other two characters can be your choice. I'd advise picking a couple strong attackers that rebuild their Special Ability quickly (i.e. Cartman, Clyde, Jimmy). With a good effort, this achievement is very attainable.
South Park: Let's Go Tower Defense Play! is truly a fun game, especially if you are a fan of South Park, as it delivers on the nostalgia and fan service. If you don't care for South Park but like Tower Defense games, this might not be the game for you. Try the many other options on the Arcade, like Defense Grid: The Awakening.

|Each level is scored on how well you do. Typically, how many enemies you stop and how quickly you go about doing it. The stronger your performance, the better your score, and in the end, the better your medal. This achievement will come naturally. To get a bronze medal, you need a score of 0 or better in the story. That should tell you how hard this one will be.|

|On the level at Kenny's house, when you get to the junkyard, activate the crane in the corner on time to finish off an enemy or enemies. To activate, simply go to the control in the top right and throw a snowball at it with .|

|The more you progress through the game, the bigger the onslaught of enemies, which means more coins for you. When you cash in at the end of a round, depending on how many towers you posted, you can net some major coins. (Collecting cooperatively doesn't count towards this.)|
EASY WAY TO GET SPACE CASH: Go to Challenge Level Braaaaains on Casual by yourself. Go to the far right side and tear down all of the Pee Pods. Collect the money quickly, and you'll easily get 100 in less than 10 seconds.

|Myrrh and Platinum Medals are the highest medals you can achieve in the game. The scores are naturally very high (i.e. Level 1; 270,000 for Myrrh and 410,000 for Platinum). Difficulty does affect the score, as Normal will net you a Silver to Gold for a good performance. Myrrh isn't very difficult at all on Level 1 (Playing on Hard or Insane), as you can score in the upper 300,000 points area just by playing decently. |
TIP FOR PLATINUM:
- Level 1 Stan's House
- Team: Cartman, Craig, Pip and Kenny. (You gotta beat the game to select a team I think). Main player is Cartman.
- Put the other three next to the house doors on both sections of the map to the north.
- Sell the default towers, collect the cash and ONLY build Fireworks.
- Upgrade the firework towers and use special abilities as you see fit.
- COLLECT COINS, try to maneuver Cartman as much as possible between all the Gingers and Cows and collect coins, the second you have 10 build another Fireworks.
- A great combination is to use Kenny's Welfare Check when there's a lot of enemies on the screen; Follow up with Craigs Slow time Special then finally bust out Cartmans special and collect the coins and go on a building spree.
- Save Pip's special for emergencies, only because he can take out an entire wave on Insane single handed.

|Same as "Come On. Catch Me." You unlock challenge levels by completing the story. So go ahead and go through the story mode to unlock levels in challenge mode. Again, you only need a score of better than 0 on all 5 different Challenge levels to unlock the achievement. |

|This is the most difficult achievement in the game, but it still isn't that difficult if you just follow these simple tips.|
Pick the following four characters; Jimmy, Craig, Cartman, and Pip. If you play in solo mode, just build a very long and winding maze, and position your characters around so that they are constantly throwing snowballs at the enemies. At the appropriate times, use your special abilities to take out the bigger swarms, as waves of 120 come quite often. Use Craig when an entire wave comes out, since his special slows down everyone that is currently on the screen. Save Pip for desperate situations, as he can wipe out an entire group of people single-handed. Rebuild your walls, if needed, and just keep the waves confused. The longer you can keep them walking around, the better.
