I'll give newcomers to fighters in general the benefit of the doubt but you really have to suck to not get this achievement at all its super easy. Oh if you want to do the easier way, select Metal Sonic by pressing the start button on Sonic the Hedgehog. A lil bonus tip To become super sonic, as the blue hedgehog you must win every single round up to round 2 with metal sonic.

Block his torpedo dive attack as its pretty tough to dodge (he repeats this move more often in round 2, for fang players if he catches you spaming he will dive through you) His 3 punch combo can be blocked up to the second punch, his third punch is unblockable and causes a knock down. Use as many armor breaking combos as possible in the first round it will make the second round alot easier.

Just because you got all the achievements in less than 15 minutes it doesn't mean the game isn't challenging. Play the game on the hardest difficulty then maybe the game will be tougher for you.
