I have every other achievement for this game and have just played through the story a second time and took note of all melee weapons I used to kill enemies (Triads not Civilians) and Ive used 10: 1. Crow Bar. (Taken from a enemy during the watch heist mission) 2. Kitchen Knife. (Taken from a enemy during most missions and busts) 3. Tyre Iron. (Taken from the trunk of a car) 4. Fish. (Found by using an environmental kill on the fish tanks during the Club Bam Bam mission) 5. Baton. (Taken from enemy at basketball drug bust) 6. Cleaver. (Taken from enemy during The Wedding Mission) 7. Grinder. (Found on the dock heist mission) 8. Umbrella. (Taken from a Civilian when it rains) 9. Machete. (Taken from Mr Tong after The Election Mission) 10.B |

You won't get this achievement if you do not kill someone with the machete. Because you only get the machete at the tail end of the second to last level, you must use it to kill someone at the beginning of the final level. YOU CANNOT REPLAY THE LEVEL. You will have to replay the entire game. That's right. The entire game. Nothing like rewarding your fans with a big middle finger, eh, Square Enix? |
 | Comment #14 by SterneRegniX Saturday, August 25, 2012 @ 03:42:23 AM Grocary Bag - some pedestrians have the shopping bags, its only for one use, so i do it like this: - go on North Point / Night Market - grab the grocary bag - use it with (X) on woman with grocary bag - grab her grocary bag and use it again on she - for me: achivement popup You must KILL with that bag. | Comment #15 by J0E S0AP Saturday, August 25, 2012 @ 12:50:10 PM I used the machete on the two triads guarding Mr Tong's car (The objective) as this is technically the start of the last mission as you have no choice but to start this mission once you have killed Tong. I have used the Grocery bag and the shopping bag and the purse and the hand bag and the briefcase! In total I have used all 14 items/melee weapons available without the martial arts pack which of coarse gives you access to some fighting stick. I have played this game through twice and refuse to play it again as I personally think its crap and full of bugs and glitches, was a real let down as it looked awesome when I ordered it... |

 | Comment #20 by TREX1979 Tuesday, August 28, 2012 @ 01:21:24 PM DONT NEED MACHETE - I just unlocked it & I just got the hand tool / cutter - when I killed a 18K guy it popped for me - u have to make sure your FINAL DEATH BLOW IS WITH THE MELEE WEAPON - not good enough just to hit them with it u need to kill them before it breaks to count - hope that helps I haven't even got to this machete part & it popped for me 1st play through |
