The trick is to make your air-force and your ground-force stick together. Do not go to attack with only bombers or with only tankers/artillery. Start attacking with bombers. Then, when you see that the city started defending with fighter planes, switch to tankers/artillery and finish them off.

I was following the guide, getting beat up by all the fighter planes, couldn't get far, so I decided to sit back and build an obscenely large offensive force...while doing so the achievement pops, I never took even one capital !

	Comment #8 by TheCokeSlurpee Wednesday, May 23, 2012 @ 12:14:24 AM The best strategy is all in the science...Use the Aztecs (because they heal automatically later)and try to start off in a place where you have mountains and hills nearby...Keep producing the warriors at first and send them in various directions to find little villages (they can reveal technologies and they give gold)and keep your work to balanced with science production until you have three or four warriors and then but it completely to science...Study writing and masonry first (the goal is to eventually get mathematics and therefor catapults)If you can do it fast enough you should be way ahead of the rest of the nations and be able to take over a quick capital or two before they get units good enough to defend. Save often so if a battle doesnt go your way you know not to do it...Immediate

If you do it right any method of winning should be a breeze, I got it where I could win by any method by year 1900...Hope this helps!

	Comment #12 by TheSaferHouse Thursday, March 14, 2013 @ 06:46:01 AM Just got this on the Beta Centauri scenario as the Americans... switch govt. to Communism right away to boost production, find a good area and build 2 cities right away, then immediately switch all cities' workers to production and all gold/ no science... build all of the buildings and wonders ASAP, this will assure you fast production, growth, and high culture (many civ cities will be converted). Build your defenses (modern infantry and artillery) up like crazy in all cities (seriously, build a ridiculous amount of armies- I had 30-40 armies per city early on) and turn EVERYTHING into the stronger version (armies, wings, fleets)... fleets of battleships are very useful early on for defending your skies and waters, and for moving troops around to shore up defenses in newer cities... once

	Comment #13 by TheSaferHouse Thursday, March 14, 2013 @ 07:13:24 AM once you are well established (4-5 large cities) just go crazy building the Flying Fortress, group them into wings and relentlessly pound nearby enemy cities until they are sufficiently weakened for you to roll in, take over, and start the whole process again! If you have been patient and sufficiently built your forces then the only thing you will really have to worry about is another civ scoring an economic victory, if this is happening then immediately bomb their cities, send in armies and spies, and feel free to use your nuke on them! You can also pay off any allies to declare war on anyone who might be harassing you- make use of this option frequently during the entire course of your game. This isn't really that difficult, just take your time (it took me about 4 hours), be patient, and

You can also easily get economic and cultural victories with this strategy. Economic will likely come first, make a save file before building the World Bank and reload after you win, save again before building the U.N., reload after the win and complete your domination! That's 3 deity achievements from one playthrough- not too shabby eh? Anyway I hope this helps someone out there get this achievement!
