Introduction:
Sally's Spa is the sequel to the acclaimed time-management game Sally's Salon. Sally and her friend Nell decided to open a chain of spas across the world. The game has the same mechanics and gameplay as its predecessor. The achievements are just as easy as the first game, except now you also need to complete the game on the harder difficulty as well. Currently the game is listed at $2.99 in the Windows Phone Store.

Step 1: Earn Perfect Score on all Story levels in Normal difficulty:
Play through the 25 levels and earn Perfect Score on them. Also focus on knocking out all of the miscellaneous achievements along the way, especially the one tied to ranking up in Nell's shop.

Step 2: Earn Perfect Score on all Story levels in Hard difficulty:
After you complete all 25 levels in Normal difficulty, Hard difficulty becomes unlocked. Play through the game again and earn Perfect Score on each level in Hard difficulty. This is slightly more challenging, but really is not too bad once you get the hang of the game. The only tricky part are the levels 21 to 25 where it becomes quite difficult to earn Perfect Score.

Step 3: Survivor Mode:
After you complete the Story, you will be very good at the game. Play Survivor Mode and serve 25 customers in a single play through to unlock all three of the achievements related to this mode.

Conclusion:
Sally's Spa is a tad more challenging and longer than Sally's Salon. However, it should really not offer you much challenge once you understand the gameplay mechanics. Be warned however, the Perfect World achievement is quite glitchy and no one has worked out a sure-fire way to get it to unlock every time. There is a very good chance you may have to play through the entire game a couple of times, so your path to completion could be much longer than specified above.

There are 17 achievements with a total of 200 points

  • Complete the story in Normal difficulty mode.

    See "Perfect World."

  • Complete the story in Hard difficulty mode.

    See "Perfect World."

  • Complete all levels with Perfect Score in both difficulty modes.

Earning Perfect Score in all levels will unlock all of these achievements. The "Story Complete I" and "Story Complete II" achievements are only related to completing levels, which is done by reaching the Target Score. The exact score is unknown, but this is the point in which your pink far fills the white portion of the score bar and protrudes into the blueish section. This is quite easy to do and you should have no problem doing this, even on Hard difficulty.

Earning Perfect Score is more challenging, and can actually become downright frustrating in the latter stages of Hard difficulty mode. The requirements for Perfect Score are as follows:

    1. You must reach Expert Score. This means you need to fill the entire score bar at the top of the screen.
    2. You must check out all customers with 5 hearts (they can either be blue or red, it doesnt matter).
    3. You must not lose any customers. Customers will leave when they lose all their hearts.
    4. You must serve the maximum possible amount of customers. This number is not displayed anywhere, but is 21 on Level 25, 20 on Level 24, 19 on Level 23. The decrease is non-uniform as the levels decrease. If you are satisfying all of the first three requirements and not getting Perfect Score, serve more customers!

Essentially you need to focus on getting the maximum amount of customers into the spa before it closes, enough to reach the amount of customers required. At the same time you need to also focus on keeping the ones you do have in the spa happy, so they dont leave. Doing this will probably only be an issue on the last few levels of Hard difficulty mode. Make sure to note the warning below!

*GLITCH WARNING* The "Perfect World" achievement is very glitchy. It is almost a certainty that it will not unlock for you on your first attempt. It seems to be a requirement that you earn Perfect Score on all 24 levels of the difficulty you are currently playing first before attempting the 25th and final level. When playing the 25th level, it also appears to be required that you earn Perfect Score on your FIRST ATTEMPT. DO NOTfinish the level having not reached Perfect Score. If you do, the achievement will glitch, even if you do get Perfect Scores on all levels in both difficulties on subsequent retries. You will then be forced to reinstall the entire game and complete it again. There is no fool-proof method to get this achievement to unlock. The information here was presented by others and confirmed by a few. The game currently only boasts a 13% completion percentage on TA, which is very low for how simple to complete this game is. Even at 13%, many of those folks had to complete the game multiple times to get this achievement to pop. You have been warned.

Taking heed of this warning and following the potential work-around steps will make your chances of unlocking this achievement better. With that said, there are a few important tips to keep in mind before you head into Level 25 of Hard difficulty mode.

    • You MUST NOT finish the level UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES unless you are certain you have met all requirements for Perfect Score mentioned above. Pause and exit the game to the Main Menu immediately.
    • 21 customers MUST be served on Level 25. This means that when time runs out and the spa closes, you must have every seat filled (there are 16) and have already cashed out 5 customers (16+5=21).
    • When the clock is about to make its final tick, light the Zen candle to freeze time and give yourself a few extra valuable seconds to get the last few customers in.
    • Focus also on not losing any customers by constantly shoving tea down their throats.
    • DO NOT purchase the cashier assistant as she will cash out customers automatically, even if they do not have 5 stars. She will make it almost impossible to earn Perfect Score.
  • Purchase all Upgrade Shop items and upgrades.

At the start of each level, you will head to the Upgrade Shop. Here you are able to spend your hard-earned cash to purchase and upgrade various items and assistants in the spa. To unlock this achievement, you must purchase and upgrade everything fully. This includes all of the chairs, all of the candles, the magazine table, the tea machine, all of the assistants, and Nell's product shelf. The items in the spa will gradually become available for purchase as you progress through the story. You will not have enough cash to buy them all until after Level 20.

NOTE: Do not purchase the cashier assistant until you earn Perfect Score on all 25 levels. Doing so will make the game much more frustrating and difficult to earn Perfect Scores, as the cashier assistant will automatically cash out customers, even if they do not have 5 stars.

  • Hire all the employees and upgrade them.

This achievement will unlock along the path to earning the "Hyper Shopper" achievement. This one only requires that you purchase the four assistants (sauna person, masseuse, bath person, and cashier) and upgrade them each one time (all that the game allows). The assistants will not all become available until later in the game.

NOTE: Do not purchase the cashier assistant until you earn Perfect Score on all 25 levels. Doing so will make the game much more frustrating and difficult to earn Perfect Scores, as the cashier assistant will automatically cash out customers, even if they do not have 5 stars.

  • Serve 10 customers in Survival mode.

    See "Expert Survivor."

  • Serve 15 customers in Survival mode.

    See "Expert Survivor."

  • Serve 25 customers in Survival mode.

Survivor mode can be found from the Main Menu by clicking on "Play Survival." For these achievements, you need to serve a total of 25 customers in one play of this mode. You continue serving customers until a single customer loses all of their hearts and walks out. In this mode, your spa starts out small and expands as time progresses. More chairs and new treatments appear, as well as item that help you out, like magazines, candles, and tea. Employ the same strategies used in Story Mode, with one notable exception. There is no need to worry about checking customers out with 5 hearts, so do not waste your resources on doing so. Just ensure that no customers lose all of their hearts. Use candles at will as they respawn after a short time and constantly keep the tea machine going. Getting 25 customers through the spa is not difficult at all. These achievements will unlock when you finally lose, at the end scoring screen, not mid-game.

  • Complete one level with Perfect Score.

    See "Perfect World."

  • Complete 10 levels with Perfect Score.

    See "Perfect World."

  • Complete 25 levels with Perfect Score.

    See "Perfect World."

  • Sell 100 natural products.

    See "Stone Champion."

  • Serve 24 cups of tea to customers.

    See "Stone Champion."

  • Hand out 24 magazines to customers.

    See "Stone Champion."

  • Perform 50 successful nail treatments.

    See "Stone Champion."

  • Successfully swap hot stones for 50 customers in the game.

These achievements are related to performing the regular tasks of the game and will unlock naturally along the way to completing the game. The magazines, tea, and natural products must first be purchased before being able to use them. The hot stones and nail treatments become customer demands as you progress through Story mode. Note that the treatments must be successful to count. Also, all of these achievements can be earned in Survival Mode as well right from the start, with no need to purchase or unlock anything. Both Survival and Story modes will contribute to unlocking these achievements.

  • Gain best rank in Nell's Shop.

This achievement will require a bit of planning in order to avoid unnecessary grinding after earning Perfect Score all 25 levels of a difficulty mode. Nell's shop is where you head after the Upgrade Shop, before starting each level. Nell (Sally's friend) will give you the lowdown on the current demand for spa products. You will then be able to choose which products you want to put out to sell for the day. Focus on putting out the most expensive products that are popular that day. Use the dual-catergory products (ones with multiple colored symbols on them) only if both categories are popular. It is a good idea to upgrade the product shelf whenever possible to increase your sales as your customer base expands when progressing through the Story.

All of your product sales will add up across all levels and attempts of each level (within each difficulty mode). Once you approach $3,500 in sales, you will reach the highest rank in Nell's Shop, called "Best Friends Forever." If you do not reach best rank by the time you earn Perfect Score on all 25 levels, keep replaying the last level over and over until you sell enough products to earn the rank.
