Hey, I don't know if anyone figured this out or not. But I just got the DLC and got the achievement. The enemy can destroy the ketchup. You just can't shoot the ketchup yourself. It takes some maneuvering to get the mini-boss guys to get away from the ketchup. Only tricky part is to make sure you don't hit ketchup when the mini-boss hamburger with heat seeking missiles pops on the screen.
