![]() | Comment #4 by Didi Mau Saturday, June 30, 2012 @ 09:30:57 AM They haven't said they'll make a way to export RB3's on-disc songs to the HD yet, but if they do you'll have more than enough songs for this provided you've exported all the previous games. RB1 has 58 (67 on EU disc), RB2 has 84 (plus 20 free songs if you bought it at release), Lego RB has 45, Green Day RB has 47, Blitz comes with 25 and RB3 would push it over with 83 (or might not be needed at all, provided you have the extra songs from RB2 and EU RB1). Some of the songs in the above discs can't be exported but I don't know which ones, it does mean the total number of songs that we could play in Blitz would be a little less than what I've written though. However, I still didn't include the 8 (could be more, I haven't played in a long time now) free DLC songs available in the store, the |
![]() | Comment #5 by Didi Mau Saturday, June 30, 2012 @ 09:33:53 AM (Continued, didn't see there was a character limit) The AC/DC disc or the multiple track pack discs that can all be exported to the HD, either. It'd be an expensive achievement to export everything just for the 20g, but I imagine a lot of us have been exporting already as the series has progressed. |
![]() | Comment #6 by Terrificy Saturday, June 30, 2012 @ 12:08:30 PM Rock Band 3 is not exportable to Rock Band: Blitz. This was revealed on Twitter a few months ago. |
![]() | Comment #7 by Mcmax3000 Saturday, June 30, 2012 @ 01:27:46 PM Yeah, RB3 isn't exportable. All other RB games that you've exported will work in Blitz though. |
![]() | Comment #8 by Mcmax3000 Saturday, June 30, 2012 @ 01:29:54 PM "Some of the songs in the above discs can't be exported but I don't know which ones" I believe there are three from RB1 (more if you have the EU version with the additional songs), and five from RB2 that don't export if I remember correctly. Everything from Lego, and Green Day exports, as well as all of the track packs. |
![]() | Comment #9 by Fedeguitar Saturday, June 30, 2012 @ 03:09:32 PM Please the exported songs counts, if not f"·k the achievement. I got 98 dlc on rock band 3 without export, i got the codes but never bought it. |
![]() | Comment #10 by Harrison Drake Saturday, June 30, 2012 @ 04:57:08 PM What ever happened to the rule that all of the original (non-DLC) achievements have to be attainable right out of the box (or download)? This would require people to have multiple previous Rock Band games or download a metric f&*!-ton of DLC songs. Didn't Lionhead get in trouble for doing something similar with Fable II (where you couldn't get one of the achievements in Fable II unless you bought Fable Pub Games)? |
![]() | Comment #11 by Didi Mau Saturday, June 30, 2012 @ 06:00:08 PM @10 Consider this a (day one) DLC achievement, not an original one- that's why this game has 500 points instead of 400, in the same way RB3 had 1250g on release. You can get the original 400 points through the list starting with "Extra Credit" through to "Calibrate Good Times", whilst you have 100 points in DLC with the achievements "Music Historian" through to "Greatest Hits". |
![]() | Comment #12 by bearmod Saturday, June 30, 2012 @ 06:25:52 PM Can't wait to start chipping away at this one |
![]() | Comment #13 by L0cke89 Sunday, July 01, 2012 @ 05:38:57 AM Well, I got over 100 DLC songs already plus RB 1,2&3. With the songs included with Blitz it should cover it. And if Blitz is as much as Amplitude was, then I have no problem in buying a dozen new songs along the way :D |
![]() | Comment #14 by RHYSthethird Sunday, July 01, 2012 @ 06:47:47 AM only 300...but harmonix, what about my 700 something other songs i own. |
![]() | Comment #15 by LimboBimbo Sunday, July 01, 2012 @ 09:54:01 AM @14 This. I find it a bit weird that the people who are "dedicated" to the RB series don't own over 300 songs combined. I'm at ~750 (cba to check the exact number) and I have yet to export the Lego and Green Day discs. |
![]() | Comment #16 by SgtGnome Tuesday, July 03, 2012 @ 11:47:39 PM Since I have exported every Rock Band to date plus have over 600 DLC songs, I think I am good lol |
![]() | Comment #17 by Snooch2theBooch Monday, August 27, 2012 @ 12:08:57 PM Lol no problem for me I have 722 songs |
![]() | Comment #18 by Vectorman953 Monday, August 27, 2012 @ 12:12:42 PM This achievement just made me reflect on how much money I used to spend on DLC packs - and yet I haven't touched RB3 in around 9 months. I might not make the cut if they don't include RB3 though. I've obviously got RB1+2, but I rented Lego and never got around to playing Green Day's (so I don't have either of those exported). Stupid question: There's no way to import the Beatles songs, is there? |
![]() | Comment #19 by dalton32389 Monday, August 27, 2012 @ 02:31:38 PM @18 No. |
![]() | Comment #20 by NoThru22 Tuesday, August 28, 2012 @ 08:28:04 AM @18 You didn't spend a "lot" of money on Rock Band DLC if you're not close to qualifying for this achievement. I'm about to top 1,800 songs. :D |
![]() | Comment #21 by Endyf Tuesday, August 28, 2012 @ 01:18:53 PM Explanation for the achievements that require DLC songs: This game has 500 Gamerscore, 100 more than your average XBLA game nowadays. 100 of the achievements in this game require more songs gained from DLC/Exports. Pretty much, it's just 400 Gamerscore with 100 added on DLC score, fair enough. I believe Rock Band 3 did the same having 1250 Gamerscore with 250 requiring extra songs. |
![]() | Comment #22 by iTz WaffleS v2 Tuesday, August 28, 2012 @ 09:06:52 PM @ #4 You forgot about Beatles RB. Anyways, it's not that bad, and I think I heard RB3 would work with RBB. Either way, I'm fucking stoked as hell for this. |
![]() | Comment #23 by shavron Wednesday, August 29, 2012 @ 07:09:29 AM @22, No he didn't. There is presently no way to export those songs. Anyway, I'm pretty sure I should be more than set on this one. It'll take a while, but it'll be a fun ride. |
![]() | Comment #24 by iTz WaffleS v2 Wednesday, August 29, 2012 @ 09:03:21 PM @33, Ah I'd only rented and played RB: Beatles. I'll have this by next week easy. Lovin the game so far! |
![]() | Comment #25 by NoThru22 Thursday, August 30, 2012 @ 08:07:53 AM @21 Why are you explaining something that was explained in post 11 and 100 other places as well? |
![]() | Comment #26 by skullw2005 Thursday, August 30, 2012 @ 03:29:16 PM Does anyone know why Beatles isn't exportable anyways? Kind of frustrating to pay $60 for a game I played through once or twice and I dont get to add the awesome beatles songs to my rock band collection like I do with every other game. |

![]() | Comment #30 by Felonious Monk Thursday, September 13, 2012 @ 02:27:56 PM It's not just you. Just happened to me. |
![]() | Comment #31 by JOE MOMMA135 Wednesday, September 19, 2012 @ 05:29:44 PM How do you know that you're at 303? Is there an easy way to keep track of the number of played songs? |
![]() | Comment #32 by Felonious Monk Friday, September 21, 2012 @ 01:57:51 PM Yeah, if you log in to Rock Band World and click on your profile, then Rock Band Blitz it'll give you a count of your uniques. |
