  • How to unlock Triple Awesome

You will need at least two microphones for this and it must be done locally, but it can be done on any difficulty. If you are able to do some vocal acrobatics, you might be able to get this solo, but it is far easier with two people. Space Oddity and Rock Lobster both have fairly easy double harmony lines with a third harmony added after the other two have finished, as do a few other songs like Centerfold.

  • That just looks dirty.
  • Seriously, I can't get over how filthy that looks. My poor eyes are bleeding.
  • Gah! Now that I've seen it, it cannot be unseen! Curse you!
  • Can this be done over live?
  • >.> People these days
  • #4 Unfortunately no ):
  • GAH Wtf is that!? Oh God UHHGG, I Guess ill need 3 Mics for that
  • You can actually get away with only 2 mics by playing "Rock Lobster." After the long "Ah" from the backup vocalists, there's a short section with only talkies for all 3 parts. You could also download "You Should Be Dancing" if you have only one mic. There's one phrase where all 3 parts are done at different times.
  • Possible that one of the title updates disabled doing 3 vocal parts on 2 mics? I can't get any song to load up as 3 singers with only 2 mics... "Last Night on Earth" by Green Day was the "easy" one to do the Triple Awesome in Green Day: Rock Band, but I cannot get it in RB3 because the 3rd vocalist is not registering at all.
  • YOU SHOULD BE DANCING - The Beegees So easy... I got it by accident. And you actually get a couple tries
  • I managed to do this on Welcome to the Family, solo, with two mics.
  • If you downloaded Pour Some Sugar on Me the "hey" shouted throughout the song are all talkies and can be sung with 1 mic
  • I'm assuming 21 Century Breakdown by Green Day still works? My Rock Band 3 recently broke and I've been on an Achievement-whore week. 21 Century Breakdown was the song I used to get the achievement in GDRB. You use 2 mics, and the last phrase of the first chorus, just sing between the two lines until they're both full, then switch to the next.
  • Rock Lobster was by far the easiest. Did it solo with 3 microphones and got multiple triple awesomes throughout the song whereas the multiple times I attempted it in Space Oddity I missed it everytime.
  • Rock Lobster is definitely the way to go, got it the first try, with only 2 mics.
