As much as you think this is gonna be hard to do its actually easy just save the game before you do this and hopefully you got like alot of stuff to sell Idols, rubys,etc now SELL EVERYTHING once you sold it all you reload that save before and repeat till your game thinks you gotten 300000 |

This is not as bad as you may think. I am almost certain this is the only way to accomplish this in one play through. Before using the sell all items method i was only at around 75k while 3/4 through the story. Just wait untill later in the game, try to hold off on selling any items unless you need the gold for something immediately to make this faster and easier. |

#1 I agree that you can use this method but that means sacrificing improving skills, upgrades to clothing and weapons with better specs and buying supplies. IMHO, all these will be required in order to progress in the story without dying multiple times even on Easy difficulty. |

The best way to do this achievement is to sell all your stuff and buy it back then sell again, The price for selling and buying back is the same.
I sold 17k worth a stuff a time then brought it back done the achievement in 10 mins. |

@3 I have no idea how you could have stacked up 75k, as I have vacuumed the game - pickpocketing every one and opened every chest - and spent very little money on upgrades and equipment and still I only had less than 20k when I had finished Garcia! I had also completed both dlc's at this time. Maybe you sold everything?
