There are 9 gems for each of the 5 characters.
All gems are the same in price and ability for each character.
They are:
Build ....... 550
Glory ....... 900
Wonder ..... 1300
Harmony .... 2000
Force ...... 2600
Energized .. 3800
Power ...... 5200
Mighty ..... 6500
Legendary .. 8000

TOTAL ..... 31050 x 5 = 155,250 crystals

Gems are like perks.
You can only equip 3 at a time by unlocking 1 of the 3 slots at levels 2, 8 & 12.

I recommend unlocking & equipping the "BUILD" gem for each character immediately so they collect more crystals asap.
Then "WONDER" & "ENERGIZED".
Slot 1 - BUILD
Slot 2 - WONDER
Slot 3 - ENERGIZED

After you have purchased all gems, replace "BUILD" with "LEGENDARY".
Slot 1 - WONDER
Slot 2 - ENERGIZED
Slot 3 - LEGENDARY

But these are only recommendations as you can choose from the 9 to match your style of play.
