Show / Hide Guide Road Map Overview: - Estimated achievement difficulty: 6.5/10 - Offline: 26 (580) - Online: 24(420) - DLC Offline: 10 (250) - Approximate amount of time to 1250: 72 hours + - Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 1 (If you get all of the actions in one go) - Number of missable achievements: None! - Glitched achievements: None! - Do cheat codes disable achievements?: Yes - Does difficulty affect achievements?: No Introduction: Welcome Mars and the third installment of the Red Faction series and the first to be released on the 360. This game is a somewhat frustrating game to get the full 1000 on for some, and easy for others. Most people have had trouble getting the *Revolutionary* achievement for completing all of the 104 guerrilla actions. Follow this road map before you start and (hopefully) you'll have no problems. Step 1: Getting started First thing, the difficulty matters for nothing in this game. Save yourself a lot of headache and play the campaign on easy. Next thing you'll want to do is get THIS list of radio actions (one's that are not located on your map, you get them called in on a radio in the vehicles) and mark them off as you complete them. This is the biggest problem people have. Step 2: Playthrough Once you have your list ready, play through the campaign (on easy) and complete all of the actions (green markers on your map) as you go. As you liberate a sector, you will not have access to finish any left over actions you have missed until the end of the game. You can do this either way – personally, I found it much easier to do them as I go and keep track of which one's I've done. Every time you get a radio action called in, if you can, drop what you are doing and try your best to complete it. If you fail, it will pop up again. Just remember to mark off which one's you complete as you go. If you finish the campaign and you still have not finished all of the radio guerrilla actions, try and use the maps with the link above list to find the spawning point and get it to activate. This is where most people get lost. I spent 15 hours + trying to get 2 missions to spawn because I didn't know where they spawn, so I had to restart the game. You can run through all of the stories missions (Yellow diamond on your map) pretty fast if you want, you'll just need to lower EDF control as you go to liberate a sector. Once the EDF control is at zero, the sector will be liberated and another one will open up with new actions and story missions. Keep doing this until you have beat the campaign. Try to not mine any ore while playing the game, save this for your clean up and do it all at once. Step 3: Cleaning up Once you finish the campaign, go back and finish anything you might have missed, like the pro times for demolition and transporter missions or the 1 billion credits worth of damage if you did not get it during the campaign. This is also your chance to finish any guerrilla actions you may have missed on your first playthough. Remember that the ones you have completed are a dim green on your map and the one you've yet to complete are lit up bright green. Check your progress in the statistics menu. Please refer to the achievement guide for tips and links to videos to help you finish these, especially the pro times. Now you'll have to go on a collecting spree to mine the ore, collect the radio tags and destroy the propaganda. Use THIS interactive map for collecting all of those. Also remember that you can see ore on your mini map, indicated by a small red dot and radio tags by a blinking green dot. The only other game mode you'll have to play is wrecking ball for 3 achievements as that's not online. Refer to the achievement guide for info and tips on the wrecking ball achievements. Any other achievements you have left over should be fairly straight forward. Step 4: Online Almost all of the online achievements can be boosted with 2 people in custom matches. You'll need to get few extra people to boost a few of the bonus xp events for the Mad Genius achievement. The only other 2 achievements that need to be done in ranked matches is the 250 games played/wins. Just keep playing ranked games until you get these done. Step 5: DLC If you have the Demons of the Badlands DLC, it's very easy to finish the 10 achievements in 5 or 6 hours. More than half of the points are just story related and can be unlocked within an hour or two. Then a little bit of collecting and some pro times will net you the 250. Refer to the guide for any questions on these particular achievements or the DotB guide thread, which can be found HERE. The other online DLC's do not have any new achievements. Conclusion This game will take a while to finish, but it's definitely worth it. The tricky part is finishing the 104 guerrilla actions. If you've done this, the rest is a piece of cake. 	Welcoming Committee	10
	Complete the Tutorial mission.
This is the first mission in the game, complete the objectives and return back to your start point to progress in the story. Before you proceed, there are no achievements for difficulty, you can play and complete the game on whatever skill level you feel comfortable with.
	Martian Tea Party	10
	Complete 2 missions for the Red Faction.
Complete the first 2 story missions in the game to unlock this achievement. Story related mission are a yellow diamond on your map. Access your map by hitting the button.
	Spread the Word	10
	Liberate Parker Sector.
Parker sector is the first of six areas on mars to liberate. See "Coup D'etat" for more info.
	Death From Above	20
	Liberate Dust Sector.

	Friendly Skies	30
	Liberate Badlands Sector.

	Don't Tread On Me	40
	Liberate Oasis Sector.

	Liberate Eos Sector.
Liberate each sector of Mars. To liberate a sector, you need to: Destroy all EDF structures, this will help bring EDF control down a lot faster. These are blue markers with a star in the middle on your map. Complete the Story related mission (yellow diamond) Completely drain EDF control. You do this by killing EDF soldiers & destroying EDF owned property (red dots on the map). It is not necessary to finish all of the Guerrilla Actions (green circles on your map) to liberate a sector, but it will work towards other achievements. You can do these after you finish the campaign.

	Liberate Mars.
Complete the final mission in the game (Mars Attacks) and this will unlock.

Guerrilla actions are marked by green circles on your map, there are 104 in total. If you move your map cursor over them, it will tell you the specific task/tasks to accomplish. Some involve rescuing hostages, stealing vehicles, and destroying EDF structures. Here's a list of the types of missions that are considered 'Guerrilla Missions': House Arrest Guerrilla Raid Collateral Damage Transporter Demolitions Master Heavy Metal Also, if you get radio messages to hijack a convoy, help with an EDF assault or do an interception, these also count towards your Guerrilla actions total. You DO NOT need to finish these before you complete the game. After you finish the last mission you are able to go back and complete all of the actions you missed your first time through.
	Clean and Righteous!	15
	Destroy 5 High Importance targets.
When you scroll over an EDF building on your map (Destruction Target - Blue icon) it will tell you the level of importance, some are medium and others are high. Just destroy 5 High importance targets and the achievement will unlock. If at all possible, try NOT to destroy any bridges that are targets, as this will make some of your transporter pro times a lot harder. Remember to check your progress in the Statistics menu. (Pause menu -> Statistics)
	Warp Speed	15
	Beat all Transporter Pro times.	(1)
Look for a guerrilla action with a clock as the icon. Go to the location and steal the vehicle bringing it back to the target location within the pro time. The target location will not be visible until you are in the vehicle. If you leave your vehicle for more than 10 seconds, you will fail the mission. Beat all the pro times for theses missions to unlock the achievement. These are found in each sector of mars. There are 18 total. Check how far along you are in the statistics achievement progress menu. Also, check out this thread for hints and tips on beating the pro times.
	Got Any Fingers Left?	15
	Beat all Pro times in Demolitions Master.
The map icon for these challenges looks just like the achievement tile. You must beat the pro time of each Demolition challenge to get this. The challenge involve different ways of taking down structures. Usually, the best way is to go for the lower supports and let the building topple over itself. These are found in each sector of mars. There are 16 total. Check how far along you are in the statistics achievement progress menu. Also, check out this thread for hints and tips on beating pro times.
	Lost Memories	25
	Locate all missing radio tags.
Radio tags are hidden all throughout Mars. They are marked on your map by a very small blinking green dot. There are 36 total. Check how far along you are in the statistics achievement progress menu. You can find all collectibles and locations using the following map. Interactive Collectibles Map
	Working the Land	25
	Mine all ore locations.
Ore is mined from Ore crystals. These are piles of black crystal that pretty much just look like black rock. When you find one, push or with your sledgehammer and break it a part and you'll see a small Red crystal pop out. THIS is ore. Collect it and move one. There are 300 ore mines throughout the game and are marked on your map by a small red dot. Check how far along you are in the statistics achievement progress menu.
	Free Your Mind	25
	Destroy all instances of propaganda.
You will find propaganda dotted around each sector in the form of billboards, they're quite hard to miss so you shouldn't have any problem finding them. There are 50 in total, once you find one just drive into the pole holding up the billboard. Use the interactive map to find all the locations, there are no billboards located in the last 2 sectors.
	One Man Army	25
	Complete 25 killing sprees during the Campaign.
You will start a killing spree when you kill 3 soldiers back to back. You will get a notification on the right side of your screen when you have a killing spree. Sprees accumulate after 3 kills, get 25 separate sprees to unlock the achievement.
	Disaster Area	50
	Destroy 1 billion credits worth of EDF property.
EDF property consists of bases, vehicles, structures and supplies. Basically, if you can blow it up, it counts. You will get this through the course of the campaign. You do not need to complete this before finishing the campaign, you can continue destroying EDF property after you've liberated Mars. Remember you can keep track of how much damage you have caused by checking the Statistics in the pause menu.
	Broken Supply Line	10
	Destroy 250 EDF supply crates.
You will find these scattered around near EDF buildings, you can't really miss them, When you smash one a notification will show in the top left corner of your screen telling you how many you have destroyed. Find 250 to unlock this achievement, there are more than 250 crates in the game, just destroy them whenever you see them.
	Power to the People	10
	Raise the Morale of 3 sectors to 100%.
I suggest when doing this achievement you start with the first 3 sectors to get it out of the way. All you have to do is for each sector is finish a couple side missions and then do the regular missions. For each mission you will get a certain amount of morale. If you press back to find the mission you can highlight it and it will tell you how much morale you will receive for completing the mission. Remember that you only have to raise the morale to 100% once for each of the sectors, it doesn't matter if they drop in percentage as it still counts.
	Tank Buster	10
	Blow up 100 small hydrogen tanks.
Hydrogen tanks are small blue tanks that can be found around mars. You can pick them up using the button. You can also throw them using the . They are great for helping to take down structures. Just shoot 100 of them and this will unlock.
	Best Friends Forever	10
	Kill 100 EDF with the sledgehammer during the Campaign.
You will start out with the sledgehammer from the very start of the game. Kill 100 EDF soldiers with it to get this achievement. Use the and for different attacks while the hammer is selected.
	Coming Down!	10
	Destroy 50 EDF owned buildings.
Simply destroy 50 different EDF buildings in the campaign (ones that are marked on your map). You should get this fairly quick in the campaign. Check your progress in the pause menu under Stats.
	Freed Space	10
	Destroy 50 EDF flyers.
You will start to see these when you are liberating your 2nd settlement. Easy way to take them out is Heat seeking rocket (which can be purchased from the supply store later in the game), you can also use your assault rifle. One guerrilla action side mission will allow you to ride as a gunman on a bike, raise your alert level and the EDF flyers will soon be following you. Repeat this process until the achievement unlocks.
	Just the Beginning	5
	Win a Matchmaking match.
Join a matchmaking game, any type of match counts and keep playing until your on the winning team.
	Start of Something Special	5
	Play 5 Matchmaking matches.
Take part in 5 matchmaking games, complete each game either win or loose but make sure you stay until the end.
	Doing Your Part	10
	Kill 10 enemies in a Matchmaking Match.
Get 10 kills in a single match, using the sledgehammer will allow you to perform 1 hit kills. This should come fairly soon to most players without to much difficulty.
	Juggernaut	5
	Destroy a Siege target.
A siege match is where you attack the other teams buildings/bridges and try to destroy them. You do this for half of the match and then you switch to the defense side. When attacking, just be the player to deliver the final blow to one of the targets - you do not have to inflict all of the damage.
	Doozer	5
	Reconstruct a Damage Control target.
While on the defensive, use your Reconstruct tool to fix a destroyed target. Use to rebuild. This can also be used as a weapon if an enemy comes at you while you are building, so you don't have to switch weapons.
	Grab Some Popcorn	5
	Enter Spectator mode and enjoy the show!
From the main menu, go to Xbox Live and scroll down to Spectator mode. Select any play list you want and simply watch the game. You must stay for the entire game.
	Try Anything Once	10
	Finish a match in every mode.
Just complete a match (custom or match making) in each of the game modes. You can set the time to 1 minute and start the game with just yourself. Cycle the modes until you get the achievement. They are: Anarchy Team Anarchy Capture the Flag Team Objective Siege Damage Control Demolition
	Check Your Map	10
	Finish a match on every map in Multiplayer.
Complete a match (custom or matchmaking) on every map. Remember that you can start a game with just yourself in the match and set the time to 1 minute. Cycle the maps until you get the achievement. The maps are: Crash Site Deadzone Downfall Excavation Fall Factor Garrison Pinnacle Quarantine Radial Rift Sand Pit Settlement War Lords Wastelands Wreckage Siege Maps: You will have to play 2 one minute rounds for these maps. You can earn XP in both Matchmaking games and Custom games. This is a lot easier to boost with a few people in custom then getting it in matchmaking. Use the Achievement Trading Thread to find other players for boosting matches. Custom game kills count for this achievement, so you can boost this or do it the legit way in Matchmaking. Either way, it's a long road.

There are 16 hidden challenges total in the Multiplayer games. These can be achieved in either Matchmaking or Custom games, but is obviously much easier to boost in custom games. Just perform the hidden challenge and you will get a notification and credit and soon as you finish it. Challenges: 10 Kills with each weapon 10 Wins in every Game Type 100 Wins 100 XP with each backpack 100 XP with each weapon 1000 Kills with 1 weapon 5000 XP with 1 backpack 5000 XP with 1 weapon 500 XP - Any Bonus 5 XP achieved with every bonus XP event 1 Life: 10 Kills - 1 Weapon 1 Life: 25 Bonus XP 1 Life: 5 XP - 5 Backpacks 1 Life: 50 XP 1 Life: Kill - 5 Weapons 1 Life: 15 Bonuses (this is different types of bonuses, not 15 of the same one)
	Jack of all Trades	10
	Score 10 kills while wearing each backpack.
Backpacks are found around each multiplayer map. If you are doing a custom game, you can pick which backpack you start with in the options menu. Just get 10 kills wearing each pack and the achievement will unlock. These do not have to be done all at once, you can get a few kills with each backpack. Wearable Backpacks: Jetpack Fleetfoot Rhino Thrust Concussion Tremor Firepower Heal Stealth Vision
	The High and Mighty	10
	Kill a flying opponent using a remote charge stuck to them.
Very easy to do while boosting in multiplayer, pick up the remote mines and find another player who has a jetpack. Stick them with a mine using , get them to fly into the air and detonate the mine using .
	Party Time	10
	Play all Wrecking Crew modes once.
All you have to do for this one is play one game of each mode. You can not change the time limit like other multiplayer achievements, but these are short matches for the most part, as long as you put the 'rounds to win' to 1. The modes are: Total Chaos Escalation Barrel Dash Rampage
	Can't Get Enough	20
	Play every mode on all maps in Wrecking Crew.
Just play each mode listed in the 'Party Time' achievement on each map. There's not that many maps, but it means 4 games on each of them, so 24 matches on each map. Most matches are 1 minute except for Rampage, that's 3 minutes. The maps: Complex Watch Tower Vista Factory Cascade Pipeline
	Wrecking Ball	40
	Score 25 million points worth of destruction in Wrecking Crew.
This is accumulates over all of your wrecking crew games. You can check your progress in the Statistics menu, hit to take you to the achievement progress. Just inflict as much damage as possible in each match. Turn barrels 'ON' & Building Collapse to 'High'. These will both help you take down buildings faster. Try these setting: Mode: Total Chaos Map: Complex Weapon: Thermobaric Rocket Building Collapse: High Barrels: On Players, Backpack, and Rounds to Win can be set to whatever helps. Right when the game starts, immediately begin shooting rockets at the nearest building, aim at the lowest level to get the most points. You can easily rack up to 100,000 to 150,000 every round.

	Play online with another player who has completed the Campaign.
Once you have completed the campaign, just play a multiplayer game with someone else who has also completed the game. The achievement should unlock at the end of the match.
