 | Comment #1 by Robin183 Tuesday, June 01, 2010 @ 01:44:31 PM You do not have to kill them all on one run, you can come back and finish the rest of later (very usefull information, seeing as skinning a buffalo can net you around $90 and if you kill them all at once, the corpses will disappear before you're done). NOTE: I recommend saving before attempting to kill them, as some people have been experiencing glitches where they did not get the achievement because of one or more buffalos commiting suicide (by running down a cliff or into the water). |

| Comment #4 by Robin183 Friday, June 25, 2010 @ 05:27:33 PM Another interesting thing me and my friend noticed was that he was able to get this achievement from killing my buffalo mount in multiplayer 20 times. So for all of you who had it bug or fail in some way on single player, try finding someone with the mount in multiplayer or wait until you get it yourself and kill that one 20 times. Make sure it's okey for the person with the mount that you kill it, or he might get angry and leave/kill you. |

I recently bought a new xbox and fired it up and recovered my gamertag. Unfortunately the achievement points didn't transfer. The problem though is that the save already has me killing off all the buffalo. So now there is no way to get the achievement again? Unless I start all over? Does anyone else have an idea of how to get it? |

That way, you won't have to travel far to get to them. 2) Use Dead Eye. Using Dead Eye is very useful, as you have more time to shoot more of them. 3) Use a sniper rifle. Shooting them from a distance is essential. If they start to run away from you, don't chase them. If you do chase them, they will spread out , at which point they will run away to a distance where they will disappear all together, and you can't get them. So use a sniper rifle (I used the Carcano Rifle) and combine this with the Dead Eye, as you will have more time to shoot them. Also, when you need to reload, come out of Dead Eye and allow yourself to reload. If you reload while in Dead Eye, you will waste all y |

This will refill your Dead Eye whenever you run out. Plus, keep the camera on them at all times. You can't afford to lose them. Hope this helps! |

Used the Bolt Action Rifle, with nothing special--just aimed & shot. Took a couple to get them each down, but it wasn't hard! If you're having trouble finding them, look by the ranch! This is after the storyline's over, though. Also, there will be a cougar. D: |

I'm at 19 Buffalo and I've replayed this mission all the way through 3 times making damn sure to kill at least 5 Buffalo each time. You can't access Stats during the mission and when I finish the mission, my Stats still say only 19. |

| Comment #27 by beaver guy Tuesday, May 15, 2012 @ 04:52:21 PM just so you know.buffalo are real.they also called american bison.great plains are real.in fact the last buffaloes survived on the great plains.the cowboys nearly killed them all off.i have seen a picture of millions of buffalo bones on a train.its sad.not just that but native americans put there heads on the ground to hear them.when the buffaloes died the native americans were out of food.i never got this achievement.because in my heart.i am not bad.it not just a game.only if you were all animal experts:( |
