 | Comment #2 by KillTheft_Echo Saturday, May 29, 2010 @ 02:15:23 PM It's fairly simple SandeshNL. Say there's two of you playing the game. You have 5 die, and opponent has 5 die. Let's say you have a 2, 2, 4, 5, 6. You start the bidding, and bet there's two 2's. You know this is true since you already have two 2's. So, if the opponent calls a bluff, you're going to win the roll. Now say, the opponent bets three 2's. You have 2, and he may or may not have one. If you call the bluff, and he has one or more, you lose the roll since there were in fact three or more 2's between you two. That's pretty much the premise. You have to guess how many of a certain die there are between you two (or more). |

There was only one guy at the table and I made honest calls each time. Every time he called my bluff and I won in 30 seconds with all dice intact. I would suggest waiting until there is only one guy at the table and be 100% truthfull. |

It's easier to trick the computer into bluffing rather than calling your bluff. Example: - you have 5 die and so does your opponent - if you bid first, then you can start off by bidding like 2 of something you don't actually have. - the computer will most likely UP that bid - call his bluff - if the comp bids first and has a fair number of die (4-5) - try to stay honest - if he says something like 2 of x and you don't have any x - switch to say 2 of x+1 (if he said 2 threes's, you say 2 fours) - in that case the computer will likely take the bait and up the bid to 3 of something - call his bluff The way to play can alter as you whittle down the computers die. - So when they only have one left. - |
| Comment #16 by tmashinter Friday, December 24, 2010 @ 09:33:12 AM (noticed my post was cut short) - if you get to bid first, bid two of something you don't have - the computer will likely go for it and increase the bet - call his bluff I found that I tended to think this way a lot the more I played the game and it worked really well for me. You may get caught every once and a while, so its not surefire, but it should help. |

Since there is only one other guy it's easier than the standard table of two or three. He also sucks at the game, so that's a bonus. The achievement unlocks for this one (it's how I got it). |

If there is more then one, switch to maybe the U.S. Marshalls or Reyes' Rebel outfits, and 'clear the table' so to speak. Then maybe just go over to the bar, drink a bit and wait for one person to get there. I wouldn't recommend trying to fool the computer as some have suggested. I got it by being honest with my bets and using my own judgement for bluffs. Don't do a spot on call, just up the bid or bluff. It'll take a couple of tries but you can get it. |

It took about an hour but I didn't lose a single time so I made about $2000 along the way. And yes, start the "lights, Camera, Action" Stranger task before trying for this achievement. The guy you have to beat for the land deed is horrific at that game. |

I was pretty poor at this side game compared to the others so I found it the honest route in combination with the suggestions to go to Escalera to play with only a single person on the table (which just so happened the first time I arrived?at night). Took me probably ten games cos I kept loosing the first die (cos again I ain't all that good at the game myself) but it seemed like once AI lost two of their die they called out bluffs no matter what I bet on, and I always was honest. |

So I thought you needed more oponentsso I went to black water beats two opponents twice and had all my dice still hasnt popped up. Why havent I got achievement. |

When he was down to two dice, he bid two 5's. I called the bid dead on and I was right. After that, I just kept being honest and he kept calling BS on me and I had this Achievement in no time at all! |

I want to play Liar's Dice!!!!' ;D So I put her on the floor, looked at her and I sited down on the chair. I played Liar's Dice just one time. I thought:'Now I can marry to my dream wife!' O,O My wife!!!! She was gone!!! Just like a ghost!!!!! :O Okay, then I will marry with a other one... But loo at the positive side, I have the achievement! (The second I looked outside, I saw 5 the same wife's but hey, they are not the same are they? ;P |
