![]() | One Quarter: Raiden Fighters Jet | 50
| Complete NORMAL Mode of Raiden Fighters Jet without using any Continues (any difficulty) | ||||||
Complete Normal Mode without a continue. Set the difficulty to practice. With the difficulty set to practice then you just have to make sure you don't run into anyone as no one will fire at you. You can do this just by holding down rapid fire and sitting in the middle of the screen most of the time. You can lose a life (1 of your 3), but you can not use a continue.

![]() | Expert Mode: Raiden Fighters | 40
| Complete Expert Mode in Raiden Fighters (with Continues, any difficulty) | ||||||
Choose Raiden Fighters. Set the difficulty to practice (no shots fired), but with this mode you will have bullets shot at you when you kill someone. Also if you die on the last level you start at the beginning. So set the continues to free play and have a second controller available. When you get to the final stage, if you are down to one life jump in on your second controller. This will allow you to continue playing where you died. I found it easiest to use that second controller as a safety net and just kept jumping back in with my main controller after I saved my place with the second.

These will be the most difficult achievements in the game. It will require a near perfect run on Raiden Fighters Jet. First, you will need to collect enough medals to get the Eagle Pendent. You must have a slave ship and collect a medal that drops down and will float in front of the slave. Then collect other medals so that it grows. Once you get the eagle pendent collect it then get nine medals on the screen. When you do that they will explode and the medals will become gold bars worth 10,000. These bars will multiply with each one you get up to 100k (10k, 20k, 30k, etc) but if you miss one (Let it drop from the screen), then you will start at 10k. I believe that the ones that drop from ships increase the multiplier and not the ones that are on the ground (don't fall after a period of time), but you still need to grab them. Again, you will have to get really good at memorization and take out everyone with bonuses. Good luck.
![]() | Wingman | 20 | ||||
| Complete a stage with a second player (any game, area or difficulty) | ||||||
I believe that you get to the last stage and just jump the other controller in for the last boss and it will unlock.
![]() | Miclus Hunter | 30 | ||||
| Found 100 Micluses (across all games) | ||||||
| These appear throughout the game after doing a certain task. The easiest way to get these to appear is playing training Level 5 in Raiden Fighter Jet. Set the difficulty to practice and hover over the three domes until they explode showing the Miclus. Also the tankers that are on throughout the level. If you over over them, you will get the Miclus to show. You will get at least three per run (domes) and upwards of 6+ if you hit all the stationary tankers by the end of the level. This level takes about minute to complete. | ||||||
![]() | Fairy Guardian | 30
| Acquired 100 Fairies (across all games) | ||||||
These appear throughout the game after doing a certain task (shooting X number of fighters down quickly, allowing a boss to run over an enemy tank, etc.) You will actually have to grab these not just make them appear, so don't shoot them! The best place to get this one was Raiden Fighter Jet. Play Level 5 and set the difficulty to practice. After you pass the three domes that hold the Miclus, there is a sliver metal bar across the middle of the screen. Go to that and go left to right/right to left across it to make 9-10 fairies appear.
![]() | Medal Collector | 50
| Acquire one hundred 100,000 point medals (across all games) | ||||||
| You will collect these medals in Raiden Fighter Jet. You will get this eventually over the course of several games. If you want it quickly, go to Raiden Fighter Jet, set the difficulty to practice, then set the medals to max (X-medal to 100k) and play Training Level 5. You will get this quickly. | ||||||
![]() | Allrounder | 10 | ||||
| Pilot every fighter in all three Raiden Fighters games, including the hidden fighters | ||||||
| You will have to play as every fighter and slave ship in the game. This includes the secret characters in each game! I found it easiest to do it this way: Mode Training, lives to 1. Go to weapon options and choose a fighter. Start the game and die. Go to weapons options again and choose another fighter. Repeat, until they are all done. Again it has to be done with the slaves also. Cycle through all three games for the achievement. | ||||||
![]() | Bonus Chain | 30 | ||||
| Raise the power of your Bonus Chain to the maximum (only in Raiden Fighters Jet) | ||||||
| This can only be done in Raiden Fighters Jet. Set the difficulty to practice and play through. You will have to take out nine enemies (larger ones) within a set time frame. I found that the level where you are in the clouds (level 30) to be the best since you get a lot of big enemies that will dive bomb towards you, giving you an easy kill. | ||||||
![]() | Almost Master | 50 | ||||
| Accumulate 10,000,000 bonus points (across all games) | ||||||
You get this by almost getting hit (sparks fly off your ship). Here is the best method that I have seen from Laorik (he used RFJ but I was told it can be done on RF2 with the same ship): "Using training mode on RFJ again, boost your fighters and bombs number to 99 and choose fairy as a character. Set enemy fire to 100% and difficulty to expert. Then go into the last, level Real Battle phase 2 + Final Boss, and simply move to the back of the map and just constantly press the bomb button. While Fairy's is in her bomb shooting mode, she actually absorbs bullets for points and they count for the almost master achievement. It took me about 1 1/2 playthroughs of the level to get Almost Master."
![]() | The Quick and the Dead | 50
| Accumulate 10,000,000 Quick Shot bonus points (across all games) | ||||||
Quick shot bonuses are when you shoot down a large fighter before they can get a shot off. Play Training level 30 Raiden Fighters Jet on practice to rack this up the quickest.
Secret Achievements | ||||||
![]() | Final Boss: Raiden Fighters Jet | 50
| Beat the Final Boss of Raiden Fighters Jet (NORMAL mode, any difficulty) | ||||||
Fight the final boss in Raiden Fighters Jet on normal mode. This one is tricky. This is how I got the achievement: Difficulty: practice (no one shoots at you, just don't crash into anything) Ship: Fairy Mode: NORMAL (DON'T DO BOSS RUSH MODE) Medals: OFF (Keeps the screen clear so you can shoot everything) The Level progress should be 5, 10, 15, 30, 45 (or 50), then "real battle mode" Phase 1, Phase 2. At the end of Phase 2 a plane takes off - go shoot that down and you will get the achievement to pop. If you get the message "this level was difficult for you", start over because the achievement was missed. I believe that you need to kill every enemy that is spawned or at least close to it.
![]() | Final Boss: Raiden Fighters 2 | 50
| Beat the Final Boss of Raiden Fighters 2 (NORMAL mode, any difficulty) | ||||||
Set the game to normal mode and choose practice difficulty. I believe you have to kill every enemy to get to the true boss or have a high shoot down rate at the end of the level. This should come naturally when you are going for the other Raiden Fighter 2 achievements.
![]() | Shot Down | 0 | ||||
| Shot down 256 times (across all games, doesn't count your last fighter in each game) | ||||||
| Just die a lot. Trust me it will happen often on the harder difficulties. | ||||||
![]() | An Hour To Kill | 10 | ||||

| See 96 h | ||||||
![]() | I Think I've Got the Hang of It | 10
| Racked up 12 hours of gameplay (any game, mode or difficulty) | ||||||

![]() | I Could Do This All Day | 10
| Racked up 24 hours of gameplay (any game, mode or difficulty) | ||||||
| See 96 h | ||||||
![]() | Must...keep...playing... | 10
| Racked up 48 hours of gameplay (any game, mode or difficulty) | ||||||
| See 96 h | ||||||
![]() | Going the Distance | 10
| Racked up 96 hours of gameplay (any game, mode or difficulty) | ||||||
Play for 96 hours of play time. You have to keep it going for 96 hours. If you want to keep your box running for a long period of time and have a turbo controller tape down button, set the game to practice and let it run with the TURBO active. I recommend you install it to the hard drive to make it run cooler and faster.
