Introduction:
Welcome to Polar Panic!! Polar Panic is your typical puzzle game. In Polar Panic, you take control of a polar bear who is trying to save his family. All achievements are obtainable offline. The game is simple at times, but will make you think when trying to complete the harder puzzles.
Story Mode:
Polar Panic has a total of 10 chapters. Each chapter has 5 stages. Complete all chapters and you’ll unlock the Bear Necessities achievement. Play through Chapter 1 without losing a life and you’ll unlock the No Bears Were Harmed achievement. There are Huts/Igloos throughout the game the spawn Trappers. Destroy 50 of these Trapper Generators during the story and you’ll unlock the Housing Slump achievement. Progress through the story, killing all of the different types of trappers and you’ll earn The Right To Bear Arms achievement. Find 10 of the Ice Bear Life-ups, you’ll earn the Trophy Bear achievement.
Puzzle Mode:
There are a total of 49 puzzles in Polar Panic. Complete all of them and you’ll earn the Smarter Than The Average Bear achievement. There are two separate categories that you are graded on after completing a puzzle. First, is the amount of moves it takes you to finish the puzzle. Second, is the amount of time it takes you to complete the puzzle. Getting a rank of A in each category will earn you an AA ranking. Clean-Up:
After finishing the story, go back and achieve an A rank on each stage and you’ll earn an A rank for the chapter, this will unlock the Teddy Bear achievement. After completing a chapter, statistics will how many snowmen and bear cages you've broken. Go back to each chapter and stage, and destroy any of the ones that you're missing. Destroying them all will unlock the No Bear Left Behind achievement. The best place to earn the Bear Faced Cheek achievement is on Chapter 6: Stage 1. The Long Shot achievement can be earned on any stage that is large. Stages like Chapter 10 Stage 3 and Chapter 10 Stage 4 are perfect. Play through stage 1 in chapter 3 and DO NOT kill any trappers. Break all ice blocks and snow mounds so the barrels roll freely. Once the last trapper is killed, you’ll earn the Roller Bear achievement.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, Polar Panic is a fun, entertaining and enjoyable game. Most of the achievements will come with natural progression. However, some will require much more thought and planning. Keep playing and you’ll eventually earn your 200.
