Welcome to the Pirates Vs Ninjas: Dodgeball. The game itself is as it sounds, a dodgeball game pitting pirates against ninjas, with zombies and robots thrown in there for extra measure. You will need a boosting partner for the online achievements

Walkthrough:
Start off by playing through the story modes. The first match you win in the story will give you the First! achievement. While playing through, make sure you catch a ball by pressing just before it hits you to get There's Always a Catch, and dodge a powershot by rolling out the way with to get Neo. You can also get Dish Best Served Cold by countering a shot by pressing just before the ball hits. Don't worry if you don't get these in the first game, they will come with time. You have to play through the story modes with Pirates to unlock Plunder That Booty, the Zombies to get 28 Minutes Later, the Ninjas for Chuck Rules and the Robots for Reboot. Each story needs you to complete 36 rounds, playing the other teams 3 times each in 2 vs 2, 3 vs 3 and 4 vs 4 respectively. The games don't take to long but can cause issues due to the physics of the game being a little off. Some of the later ones can prove a bit tricky, mainly due to balls getting stuck where you can't go, but keep retrying til you win.

Online:
Next you need to find yourself a boosting partner. Use the Achievement Trading Thread found to find yourself a partner. You will need to win 20 ranked matches to unlock Addicted, and will get Just Getting Started after your first. There is hardly any people playing this anymore so you should have no problem finding each other. Make sure you work together to get 20 catches and 30 counters to get Ball Hugger and Untouchable.
 

Conclusion:

Overall this is a game that probably should have been better, but is let down by some poor physics and very repetitive gameplay. That said, it is enough to keep you interested long enough to get most of the achievements done. Boosting your 20 wins is very boring though so make sure you have some music or a DVD to watch while doing that part.
