| Score an overall AAA in Heart Attack Mode | | ||
To get an Overall score of AAA you must complete every task the girl sets you perfectly. Every task must result in an AAA score for the Overall to also be AAA. A good route to take is as follows: Start Keep Passing Cars Drift More LEFT EXIT Bay Area Don't Crash Collect Coins Drift More RIGHT EXIT Big Forest Special Request 1 Hit the Ghosts Drift and Run Through Red RIGHT EXIT Ice Scape Special Request 2 Pass the Convoy RIGHT EXIT Milky Way Special Request 3 Collect the Stars For the "Collect the Stars" challenge, you need to follow a "left-right-left" pattern. Start on the left side, there will be a point that you can cross over to the right side (more stars on that side), and then a final point where you can cross back over to the left side again. This should net you the most stars possible on the last stage and give you an easy AAA. | |||

More points are obtained for slipstreaming past people. - Difficulty can be changed in the start menu options. Do this to get yourself more time. Play on Very Easy. - Take the route of either: Left, Left, Left, Right - (Most Rivals Route) Right, Right, Left, Left - (Most Trucks & Buses Route) - You will know you are slipstreaming when you are behind someone and the speed changes to blue. The scoring system for them is as follows: 12,500 - You hit the rival car before overtaking it. 25,000 - You overtook the rival car. 50,000 - You overtook the rival car whilst in slipstream mode. ---------- Trucks & Coaches also bag big points. For the maximum number of trucks and coaches take this route: Right, Right, Left, Left. You will pass 11 worth 15,000 each or 165,000 in total. Truck and coach map below: Numbers found per stage, set out in the style of the in-game map [diagonal]. - - - - - - - - 2 - - - - - - 1 - - - - 2 - - - 1 - - 3 - - - 1 1 - - - 0 - - - 1 - - 3 - - - 5 - - - - 1 - - - 1 - - - - - - 1 - - - - - - - - 0 More Scoring Tips: - Staying on the road (when you get off the road the points counter turns red and stop). - Staying in slipstream (the points counter turns blue and goes faster). - 3,000 - Overtake a car after slipstreaming it. - 1,500 - Overtake a car without slipstreaming it. - 750 - Overtake a car touching it. - 15,000 - Overtake a bus/truck after slipstreaming it. - 7,500 - Overtake a bus/truck without slipstreaming it. - 3,750 - Overtake a bus/truck touching it. - 50,000 - Overtake a rival after slipstreaming it. - 25,000 - Overtake a rival without slipstreaming it. - 12,500 - Overtake a rival touching it. - Arriving at the end of a stage in less time possible (around 40k for a good run). Try this in the first stage: - Get behind EVERY car/bus. - Wait for the slipstream logo to appear. - Overtake. - Don't drift in the first stage, NEVER, because when you drift you don't slipstream and you get half the points from overtaking (in general don't drift when there's not a danger curve signal). - When you arrive at the Rival you should already have around 40/50k points. - Go straight without drifting (you never have to drift in the first stage, remember?). - Slipstream the Rival, take the left route and overtake the Rival (+50,000). - Cars, slipstream, overtakes, end of the first stage (+40k bonus). This will give you a total of around 180,000 points. | |||

Put the game into Very Easy from the start options. Always choose the Tuned cars. 2 Options on fastest routes and cars are as follows: Left, Right, Left, Left - Tuned 288 GTO (Manual Transmission). Right, Left, Right, Right. - Tuned F40 (Auto or Manual). Drift round corners and do not hit walls or cars. | |||

This is best done on time trial mode so there is no traffic. You must select a tuned car. At the first junction turn left and go full speed 300kmh/186mph down over the bridge. The achievement should pop up just before you get to the corner with the red crash barriers. | |||
