![]() | Comment #5 by JaxTH Monday, September 03, 2012 @ 05:00:49 PM @1 I see no reason for them to have took it out. But seeing as this is a port of the PS2 version I wonder if this has stayed butchered or if they re-added all the Christmas NiGHTS stuff they took out of the PS2 version. |

![]() | Comment #7 by firstborn Sunday, September 09, 2012 @ 01:11:42 PM I think maybe people are getting confused between the Christmas themed FREE demo (that was given away on the cover of certain magazines)... and the fact that the original full game had many calendar related Easter eggs, such as a Christmas theme to the game when played on Christmas day. I very much am sure that this achievement is related to playing the game on Christmas day (or just cheating and setting the Xbox clock to Dec 25th) |
![]() | Comment #8 by Minarvia Sunday, September 09, 2012 @ 05:22:30 PM @firstborn, not so, Deathsmiles IIX had an achievement also called "Merry Christmas" as well, that you could get at any time. |
![]() | Comment #9 by SkillJim Thursday, September 13, 2012 @ 10:48:36 AM I really really hope it's the demo that came with official saturn mag, I must have played that demo more than the original game, absolutly loved opening all the presents for all the rewards!!! The kareoke version of the theme song was my favourite present, got excited when I got it, cause you had to match 2 identical pictures to unlock stuff, so some play throughs you didn't even win anything. Awesome times :) |
![]() | Comment #10 by MutekiAzy Monday, September 17, 2012 @ 07:01:25 AM @firstborn I think you've mixed that up a bit. The original Nights game didn't have any calendar related stuff in it at all. I believe the updated PS2 version did though, such as the Christmas-theme (does anyone know if it had the "Reala" easter egg on April 1st, too?). The Christmas themed "demo" that was given away on some magazines and with some Saturn purchases was Christmas Nights, which DID have lots of hidden calendar-based unlockables and easter eggs. It only featured one main level, so if you played it other times of year than Christmas it seemed a lot like a demo as a result, but it contained a load of unlockable features that made it a worthwhile title in it's own right, such as time attacks, the hidden "Sonic" challenge, the A-Life gallery, etc. It was a pretty fantastic |
