There are 5 achievements with a total of 1000 points.

Score on a breakaway (Amateur)

Score a goal on a breakaway on Amateur difficulty or higher.

Score a goal on a breakaway. Pretty self explanatory, A breakaway is when when one of your players goes one on one with the opposite teams goalie (or net depending on whether or not you pull the goalie.) You can does this normally or with a second controller. If doing it with a secnod controller then be a good team like the all-stars and chose a bad team for your friend, or the other controller, Start the game. Get the puck go behind your own net, then sprint towards the other net. When at half take the other controller and Pause then select "Team Strategy" then "Pull Goalie." The shoot at the empty net when you're close enough.
*Difficulty must be at least on Amateur*

Score goal with defenseman (Pro)

Score a goal with a defenseman on Pro difficulty or higher.

A defensemen is one who depends. They will usually play back and you will usually have two denfesmen on your team. Simply take one of your defensemen and score a goal. You may use the technique in "Score On a Breakaway" or do it normally.
*Difficulty must be on at least Pro*

Score goal when 2 men down (Pro)

Score a goal when 2 men down on Pro difficulty or higher.

Being two men down is when the team has 2 more people then you. Simply get two of your guys in the box(penalty) by having them foul one of the other team's players. To help turn the penalty sliders in the menu to the max. The skate around and check people and slide around and hack. This should get you two guys in the box quickly. Then you need to score a goal while both the guys are in the box. You can do it legit or with another controller and pull the goalie.
*Difficulty must be on at least Pro*

Score on penalty shot (All-Star)

Score a penalty shot on All-Star difficulty or higher.

This is a tough one. First go to your menus and turn the penatly sliders all the to the left and penatly shot sliders to the right. *You must be fouled while taking a shot to get a penalty shot* Wind up for the shot and let a player hit you. It will not work everytime but after a few tries it shouldn't be a problem. If done legit it might be hard to score the penalty shot itself so I suggest to do it with another controler and let the CPU hit you. Then once you're taking the shot have the other controller click

and take the goalie to a side. Then shoot at the other side.
*Difficulty must be on at least All-Star*

Score in Under 1:00 (All-Star)

Score a goal in the first minute of play on All-Star difficulty or higher.

You need to score within the first minute of the game. Set up a game with another controller then win the face-off and, skate towards their goalie, pull it using the other controller and score. For a detailed description of the settings see "Score on a Breakaway"

*If done correctly you can get 3 achievements at once: Score in Under a Minute, Score on a Breakaway and Score with a defensemen. They can be done within your first 5 minutes of playing the game.*
