Need for Speed: Undercover is a very straightforward racing game. The controls are very simple and if you can do one race, you can do all of them. It takes some time to complete all of the races and to dominate the ones you need to, however, which is why the difficulty is a 4/10 and not lower.

Introduction:

Need for Speed: Undercover is somewhat a sandbox game, but first you need to complete the career. As a result, only one career playthrough is needed, there are no missable achievements, and you can redo races as many times as you wish. 187 offline races plus 119 online races can get tiring and somewhat tedious at times, so just keep at it and go for 1000!

1) Career Playthrough (325)

You’ll complete the 5 “Meet” achievements (50) and the 5 mission completion achievements (125) along the way. “Hired Goons” and “5 Finger Discount” (40) are part of the career as well. You’ll also get “Learner’s Permit”, “Aficionado”, “Keys to the City”, “Branching Out”, “Window Shopper”, and “Nothing Stock” for 70. Finally you’ll end the career with “Retired” for 40. I recommend trying to dominate as many races as you can because it helps win races in the future, and saving money for better cars and upgrades sooner.

2) Completionist (100)

Chances are, you’ll net the some other achievements simply by playing through the career. After completing the career, focus first on getting “Completionist”, because completing all 187 events will get many of the missed achievements and save you a lot of time. You’ll get most of the quantity achievements (Avoiding 12 spike strips, completing 50 pursuits, etc) simply due to the large number of events that must be completed.

3) Offline Mop-Up (400)

Once you finish all 187 offline events, dominate the eight “Domination” races for 120 and finish up on the quantity achievements if you didn’t get all of them. In order to dominate these eight races, use a Tier 1 car with high speed but good handling (I used the Bugatti). Remember that you have to win the race as well as beat the time, which can be very tough! If you’re having some trouble on a particular race, skip it. Dominating raises Driver Skill and completing races raises your Wheelman level, which helps you go faster and control your car better.
You should now have 41 achievements and 825.

4) Online (175)

Make an EA Nation account and then upload a photo to needforspeed.com, which should get you 40 and two achievements. Watch out for community days so you can participate for 20. While you wait for a community day to come around, win a Cops and Robbers event (10), and keep playing Cops and Robbers until you get the “Cat and Mouse Virus” (5). Then complete 119 online races (50). I think these have to be races, and can’t be Cops and Robbers. Once you finish those 119 races, you should have “First!” (10), “First of Many” (15), and hopefully “Among the Best” (25). If you can’t win 25 races out of 119, switch over to Cops and Robbers and finish up “Among the Best” in Cops and Robbers.

Conclusion:

Congratulations, you have 1000 /1000 ! If you are still missing achievements after all of this, get a Tier 1 car with the Ultimate upgrades to both power and handling and use the Guide for assistance. Dominating events may be difficult, so dominating earlier and easier events can make it easier once your Wheelman level is maxed and you just can’t seem to shave off one more second off of a race time.
