At the beginning of this battle he'll most likely shield charge you. immediately run to the right and jump to avoid it. as soon as you touch back down immediately go into "ripper mode" and change your unique weapon to the pincers (his weapon). right here you can charge up by holding down Y and release to do an attack that usually does 2 thrusts forward and will usually knock him down. You can do this move 3 times in a row! his health will fall significantly. Now we have to take a break and take care of the chopper. wait until you can attack it all the while you should be ninja running around the boss to make sure missiles dont hit you. if you are far away from the boss he just likes to walk around with his shield in front of his face. |
| Comment #2 by BIG L RETURNS Sunday, February 24, 2013 @ 04:39:41 PM so he's not a problem. soon as chopper is in position just jump in the air and press Y to do a downward attack. 1 hit KO. remember you're still in "ripper mode". Now we can go back to the battle. bait him until he opens his shield. as SOON as he drops that shield start charging up the Y attack. however, now he is not falling to the ground and he puts up his shield after every successful Y attack. just back away, and wait for him to put up the shield again. then bait him. rinse and repeat. take a breather if you took no damage and triggered the cut scene because now we have a checkpoint!!! time to start our ascent back up to the top! for the lucky few this shouldn't be a problem. for the rest of us this could prove annoying to get to the top without taking damage. i kept trying and |
| Comment #3 by BIG L RETURNS Sunday, February 24, 2013 @ 04:40:55 PM trying and to no avail couldn't get there. so i thought i should just always concentrate on being in the middle of the elevator shaft the whole time whenever i could. did it my first try with this tactic. zandatsu the wall and now we just have to finish him off! he will throw missiles at you. press Y + B when prompted to dodge. now he jumps and you will be prompted to zandatsu him (my favorite execution on an enemy). congratulations the achievement should pop along with a nice "S" rank most likely! i hope this helps you guys! |
 | Comment #4 by HeavenlyNinja Tuesday, February 26, 2013 @ 07:00:51 AM Good job BIG L RETUNRNS but you can beat very easier. at start of the battle he charges the shield to attack you. do not avoid it, parry it with LS X (don't worry it cause no damage) then it will come to pressing X rapidly then a QTE shows, use blade mode to cut two parts of his shield arms which are glowing with a blue color. no need to be worry about the chopper, it is a just a watcher till you are near Sundowner & attacking him. after cut the shield still four parts of it remaining. attack him quickly & using the Murasama blade if you had finish the game & bought it. because if you upgrade it completly it does more damage than yours. hit him till he uses his shield. but be careful to not hit the shield. if you use the blade mode it will be more safe. now go to blade mode again & cut t |

QTE again & repeat to cut another two parts of his shield. use LS to move the blade & RS to free blade to cut them if they aren't in a line to cut them. repeat this & after he losing the shield he will attcks you by the swords. the easiest part of the battle! if you have his swords equip them & use ripper mode. (if you have the infinite blade mode silver wig, it will be easier) wait for to attack you after the demo, parry his first attack & for his second attack, if he glowing yellow jump & avoid his charge attack. now it's your turn, hit him with X then use Y to do alot of damage on him. repeat this & he falls then at last. after the demo you will hang on a flying bird gear. this part is very easy. i suggest you to stay at the down corner of the left s |

| Comment #7 by Recchi918 Thursday, March 07, 2013 @ 03:12:49 PM This boss is actually quite easy, as I have found a foolproof method to beating him without damage. Equip Wig B + fully upgraded Pincers. Also have at least one Homing Missile if you don't want to risk it with the copper. As soon as the battle starts jump over him as he charges at you and immediately shoot the chopper with the HM. Turn around, activate (infinite) ripper mode and block his next attack then Y,Y,Y with the Pincers. That should bring 1/3 of his health down. Then back down a little, wait for him to attack, block and attack the same way. Rinse and repeat You don't even have to cut down his shields he goes down so quickly (about 20-30 seconds), but you can if you want to or if the opportunity arises at all. Only look out for his unblockable attack (indicated in yellow or orange) |

The slider sequence is qute easy, you just have to shoot the falling debris and/or the "pillars" and if you miss one yust simply try to evade. Should you fail to do so simply restart checkpoint. Then just finish him off with B+Y. Tried several times with success. Hope it helps. |
