I thought maybe it would fix once they had season stats for the teams plus their actual record, but just got finished playing a close 3-2 game. No unlock. I can't even believe some people got this to unlock. Still a good game.

Right now I'm playing the NL vs. AL All-Star game... I'm hoping I get both achievements... If I don't I may just rage quit life

Still no achievement. I could understand glitchy achievements if it were 2K6, but they've had 6 years to get this down and still failed.

Instead of just picking a game from the main MLB Today screen, I hit the right stick, clicked MLB Today (which brought me to the same screen I was already on), then picked a game. 2. After picking the teams, I but before starting the game, I hit Y to change to a 3 inning game. 3. After the game, I did the rematch option (as I had done every time before). Something about this combination did it for me. Hope it helps some of you too.
