Introduction
Let's Golf 2 is the only Xbox for Windows Phone enabled golf game and it is quite a good one at that. The game has a total of six completely unique courses, each with the full 18 holes. It features a robust Career Mode consisting of 42 events (seven on each course), ranging from varied versions of stroke play, match play, shootouts, closest to the pin, and timed stroke play. As you progress, your character levels up, their skills get better, and cosmetic items can be unlocked. The graphics are very well done by smartphone standards and the controls are easy to learn and use. For a more in-depth review of the game from WPCentral, click HERE. Currently the game is listed at $4.99 in the Windows Phone Store.

Step 1: Complete the tutorial
Learn the controls of the game first and earn this simple achievement at the same time.

Step 2: Play Career Mode
A majority of the game's achievements will be earned along your path through Career Mode to get a single character to Level 25.

Step 3: Play Challenge Mode
Earn the two achievements in this mode quickly and easily.

Step 4: Mop-up
Finish up any achievements you may have left. There will likely be very few or none remaining.

Conclusion
Let's Golf 2's cartoony style and simple gameplay mechanics make it fun to play. The most time consuming achievement will be reaching Level 25 with a single character. It is a shame that leveling up occurs so slowly that you basically can't switch characters at all if you want to earn that achievement in a timely fashion. Add in the unobtainable achievement and this game makes for a questionable purchase for avid achievement hunters, and a definitive pass for completionists.

NOTE: Achievements you earn while playing a hole may not unlock until the end of the hole in the player ranking screen.

There are 20 achievements with a total of 200 points

  • Finish training mode.

Training can be found from the Main Menu, in Help & Options>Tutorial. All you need to do is complete this short tutorial on the basic controls of the game.

  • Finish the first hole.

This can either be done in Career Mode or Instant Play. You just need to finish a hole (i.e. get the ball in the cup).

  • Perform your first perfect swing.

To get a perfect swing, you must exactly hit both the blue mark for power and the green mark for accuracy on the meter when swinging the club. You will most certainly get this when progressing through Career Mode after just a little practice. At the scoring screen at the end of each hole, you can see how many perfect swings you had.

  • Perform your first chip-in.

To get a chip-in, you must hit the ball into the cup from a position off the green (using a club other than the putter). This will come with playing the game. The easiest place to get this is England, where there is weak wind. Just try and get a perfect swing on a shot that was auto-aligned with the hole and it has a good chance of going in.

  • Use your first special skill with one of the characters.

Each character has an unique special skill that can be used for an advantage throughout the match. The special skill is different for each character and it slowly charges up over time. When it is available, the picture of your character will be blinking red. Hit the blinking button to activate the skill. Sometimes the skill is only available at a certain time (i.e. during putting or when the ball is in flight) and thus can only be activated at certain times. From the character select screen, you can click on the special skill to find out more information about it (the button under your character's skills).

  • Finish your first mission in Career mode.

This achievement will unlock after completing your first event in Career Mode. You do not need to earn a medal, just finish the event.

  • Score your first par.

    See "Eagle Eye."

  • Get your first gold medal in Career mode.

You earn medals for finishing in the top three of an event, getting the gold for finishing first, of course. There are also three secret gold medals to collect on each course which also count if you are having trouble actually earning first place in an event. The easiest events in the game are those in England.

  • Score your first hole-in-one.

The only holes that this is even possible are Par 3's or 4's. Play on England and do the "Closest to the Pin" challenge (first suggested by roce96). Use the default aim, adjust for the wind if necessary, and go for a perfect swing (perfect power and accuracy). This will give you the best chance of getting a hole-in-one.

  • Finish the first mission in Challenge mode.

Despite the somewhat misleading description, you just need to complete ANY challenge in Challenge Mode. There is no scoring in Challenge Mode. You either complete the challenge or you don't. The Level 1 "Longest Putt" challenge is quite easy. Just sink the putt to complete the challenge.

  • Unlock a new item.

The word "item" encompasses clothing, hairstyles, golf balls, and clubs. You can unlock items by completing events in Career Mode and challenges. You will get this after the first event or challenge you complete.

  • Score your first eagle.

These three achievements will most likely come by the time your reach Level 25. In case you lived under a rock, getting par means completing the hole in the same number of shots as the par number for the hole. A birdie is completing the hole in one less stroke than par, while an eagle is completing the hole in two less strokes than par.

If you are having trouble, try the Par 5 holes on the England Course. You should easily be able to make it onto the green in two shots. If you can just make that put, you will earn an eagle. Also, getting a hole-in-one on a Par 3 hole is also technically an eagle, though I am unsure if this will unlock the achievement, as "EAGLE" does not pop-up on the screen.

  • Unlock a new course.

    See "World Tour."

  • Get your first medal in Career mode.

    See "New Champion."

  • Score your first birdie.

    See "Eagle Eye."

  • Gain 100% experience with one character.

This is the most time consuming achievement in the game. It requires that you reach Level 25 with one of the characters. You should pick one of two starting characters at the beginning of Career Mode and ONLY use them so you are constantly working towards this achievement. The only way to earn XP to level up is by playing and completing Career Mode events. You can replay events you have already gotten a gold medal in to earn slightly more XP. The hidden gold medals are not required for this achievement. This will likely require a little bit of grinding, even after getting gold on all events. The scores you earn on each hole do no appear to influence XP in any way.

  • Unlock the Ninth Passenger

*WARNING: UNOBTAINABLE* This achievement is currently unobtainable. To unlock the secret character, you have to enter a code of sorts. Unfortunately, the developers forgot to port this option to the Windows Phone version. A patch was promised in early 2012 to fix this achievement, but is yet to arrive. I will update when/if more information becomes available.

  • Retry the same challenge 20 times.

This achievement is done in Challenge Mode and only requires that you retry a single challenge 20 times. After failing a challenge, hit the option in the lower left to "Retry" it. The longest putt challenges are very quick to fail and you can easily get this achievement out of the way in about 5 minutes by just shanking the putt and retrying over and over.

  • Unlock all characters.

There are eight total characters in the game which need to be unlocked. The first two (Vincent & Jade) are unlocked at the start of Career Mode. The third (Chris) will be unlocked after getting your first gold medal in Career Mode. The last five characters are unlocked by beating them in a Match Play event. There is one character for the Match Play event in each course of the game (except England).

  • Unlock all courses.

Courses are unlocked by collecting gold medals in Career Mode. The first course you can unlock is Germany, for which you need to earn two gold medals. The last course, Greenland, unlocks when your get your 10th gold medal. If you are having trouble earning gold medals by finishing first in events, remember that the hidden gold medals also count. See HERE for a guide on finding all the hidden gold medals, compliments of packattack on GameFAQs.
