After trying the recommended "Charlene" several times and it not working, I moved on to "We Will Rock You", also on Expert Bass. Wait until the pattern switches from Green, green Orange to Green Green, Blue-Orange before you rock out. Also, I did it in Free Play first and even though it showed gold stars, I was not awarded the achievement and had to redo it in career. |

I'm still a little bit confused.. what does it mean to gold star a song? Is that more then just the five you get?? |

It means that you have to play a song on expert and u have to hit 100% notes. We will rock you on bass is the easiest way to do that. |

I played 'check yes juliet' on expert. got 100% first time. but i did it a second time and didnt get 100% but still gold star. i think it may be a number of notes you have to hit or a certian score on any song. |

Gold stars in Rock Band is basically a sixth star and you get it the same way you get the first five and that's by getting a good enough score. Thing is, gold stars are only available on expert, yet this is still an easy achievement for me. I was able get gold stars on a number of songs including Surfing With The Alien on guitar. If you can't get it with anything on disc, get some DLC and try it that way. |

Thanks to comment #1 I got this achievement. And it was pretty easy too :-P I never really play bass on these kind of games but it does seem to pay off in getting achievements, haha. |
