City Slicker Achievement in LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes

  • City Slicker

    35

Collect all the gold bricks (Single Player Only)

  • How to unlock City Slicker

Gold bricks can be collected by doing several things:

    • Completing every Story Mode level (15)
    • Collecting all 10 Minikits in each level (15) (see Minikit Hero)
    • Rescuing all Citizens in Peril (50) (see My Hero)
    • Earning “Super Hero” status in each level (15) (see Super Hero)
    • Unlock and complete the Bonus Level (1) (see Toy Gotham)
    • Finding them around Gotham City

This achievement can be extremely time consuming since most Gold Bricks are found by roaming around Gotham City. Gold Bricks can be located by opening up your map and pressing  to scan the area. Some are collected by using Batman or Robin to get up to the brick, while others will require you to save citizens and to complete vehicle checkpoints. Each citizen that you save will earn yourself one gold brick, which nets you 50 gold bricks in total for saving all of the citizens in the game. Gold Bricks are also earned by collecting all of the minikit figurines in a given level.

  • 250 in total. That's going to be a lot of fun. :)
  • #1 yeah and also at least half of them are in the open Gotham.
  • 170 in Gotham, if i remember correctly. Got around 160/250 myself right now.
  • I'm missing 3 total, and I can't find the bastards. GGRRRRR
  • Ok this is getting aggrivating. I'm down to the last two and I cannot find them at all. The first one is in the zoo, bottom right corner of the zoo. The second one is right by Wayne Manor but every time I go around that area the gold brick indicator vanished. These are the only two I am missing. Anyone got any ideas?
  • Ok figured out the one in the zoo, forgot to ride the polar bear. Now any ideas about Wayne Manor?
  • Damn I'm feeling pretty stupid right now. Turns out it was a race right out of the bat cave that ends on top of the botanical gardens. So that's the last one. Hopefully my mistakes will help someone else.
  • let's see 50 from saving citenzens 30 more for superhero and minikit and that will leave 170 more in gotham ( 205 if you count the 35 citezens i gotham 2)
  • @7 dont feel stupid! Had the same problem.thanx to you i now know what to do...
  • Save the Citerzen and complete the level's and such in it to get all of them not to mention the flying races and such
  • Do you get one of these for completing Toy Gotham as I'm 1 short and there aren't any left to get on the map. Really didn't want to try and complete that as it does my head in.
  • @ozzieowl You probably found out by now, but you do get a gold brick from beating the bonus level.
  • anyone got any hints on how to do the flying ones or if you can change the flight controls so they are not inverted
  • I might have bothered with this if not for the shitty flying controls. We have to fly through rings with some terrible flight mechanics... LEGO Superman 64 anyone?
  • can't find, help please? https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn2/v/1391750_490014981096497_99979283_n.jpg?oh=16ececc0bcf0fa288bc18167726446dc&oe=5276222E&__gda__=1383464620_d2e1d7f0fbea69b58799ac558029f03b
  • Cheers for mentioning the polar bear dancing ewok, i'd forgotten that myself and have looked around that corner several times to no avail, completely forgetting about the polar bear enclosure
  • Can't seem to access or unlock the 2 blocks in the pond/ Lake in Gotham. Tried paying the boat game but no joy any ideas.
  • I got all but 1 gold brick. I've completed the game and the bonus level once on story mode. I have all the minikits, saved all citizens and there are no more yellow dots on the map. What am I missing?
  • I am missing two bricks.. I know one is in the Bonus Level so I guess missing one brick. This is pissing me off.. I have been up all night getting all the bricks and I have stuff to do today.. No pop ups on the map. I gotten all the perils, studs in levels, all minikits.. finished the flying and waterboat time races.. any advice?
