Kind of tired of pickpocketing after Skyrim.

lol, pickpocketing has been around way longer than Skyrim...WAYYY longer. It is also an integral part of many RPG games.

Hate these types of achievements. But, alas, guess I'll have to get used to them.

The worst part of pickpocketing in any RPG is that you almost never get anything good so it's always pointless to pickpocket.

What would be nice to know is what the game actually counts as a pickpocket towards the achievement. I know for a fact that I've pickpocketed like a dozen enemies and several NPCs, but the stats counter in-game says I've only done it 6 times. So is it only counting citizens who I pickpocket without getting caught? Because even then I should have more than 6 =/

it only counts the ones in which you are not caught.

I've had some success using the Smoke Bomb from the Finesse tree... even in a crowded inn, you can have a > 90% chance of success without being caught.

Best place to do this is in Gorhart. Create a few 'Greater Phasewalk' potions (Use Experiment to learn it: Star Thistle, Criplespore Caps, Sky Blossom, Essence of Fate), which will turn you invisible for a short time. Stand behind an NPC Merchant (i.e Rikka Egest and/or Nettie Grildas - same building) while in stealth mode, quaff Greater Phasewalk and continue to pick-pocket until the potion runs out. Quaff another potion and continue until the Achievement unlocks. Then you can load a previous save.
