lol, pickpocketing has been around way longer than Skyrim...WAYYY longer. It is also an integral part of many RPG games. |

The worst part of pickpocketing in any RPG is that you almost never get anything good so it's always pointless to pickpocket. |

What would be nice to know is what the game actually counts as a pickpocket towards the achievement. I know for a fact that I've pickpocketed like a dozen enemies and several NPCs, but the stats counter in-game says I've only done it 6 times. So is it only counting citizens who I pickpocket without getting caught? Because even then I should have more than 6 =/ |

it only counts the ones in which you are not caught. |

I've had some success using the Smoke Bomb from the Finesse tree... even in a crowded inn, you can have a > 90% chance of success without being caught. |

Best place to do this is in Gorhart. Create a few 'Greater Phasewalk' potions (Use Experiment to learn it: Star Thistle, Criplespore Caps, Sky Blossom, Essence of Fate), which will turn you invisible for a short time. Stand behind an NPC Merchant (i.e Rikka Egest and/or Nettie Grildas - same building) while in stealth mode, quaff Greater Phasewalk and continue to pick-pocket until the potion runs out. Quaff another potion and continue until the Achievement unlocks. Then you can load a previous save. |
