Guide By: Ryot Control & Capn Doug There are 74 achievements with a total of 2000 points.
Show / Hide Guide Road Map
![]() | Aspiring Photographer | 10
| Successfully took all of the snapshots in a single assignment (or watched someone do this). | |||
See "Master Photographer."
![]() | Master Photographer | 30
| Without ever stopping an episode, earned all of its Snapshot stars (or watched someone do this). | |||
There are three Snapshot events in every episode in which the game will tell you a subject to photograph. On the center of the bottom of the screen, the number of Polaroids signify how many photos must be taken in the sequence for full credit. A photo will receive credit if the Polaroid has a green check-mark instead of a red X. Both achievements unlock after the first and third successful Snapshot sequences.
![]() | Hidden Footage | 10
| Correctly answered all questions in one Sidetrack (or watched someone do this). | |||
See "Triple Tracker." | |||
![]() | Triple Tracker | 30
| Without ever stopping an episode, earned all of its Sidetrack stars (or watched someone do this). | |||
Both achievements are linked to the Sidetracks sequences. Like the Snapshot sequence, there will be three sequences in one episode. Usually, the Player will be prompted that a Sidetrack event is incoming. "Hidden Footage" requires one perfect run of two correct questions without backtracking. "Triple Tracker" requires all six badges be earned in one episode before the results screen. Although the answers are relatively easy, the answers to the first episode are included below.
![]() | Bug Free | 10 | |
| In a grizzly bear game, ate all of the moths on screen (or watched someone do this). | |||
Episode One. Easiest in first Go Wild event. In the very beginning, it is as simple as eating all moths in the first wave. Achievement will unlock immediately.
![]() | Moth Muncher | 20 | |
| In a grizzly bear game, ate 30 moths in 10 seconds (or watched someone do this). | |||
Episode One: Best done on third Go Wild event. Near the end of the mini-game, if you have scored enough points, you will get the opportunity to Roar and activate an "overdrive mod" where tons of moths fill the screen. Achievement will unlock immediately after fulfilling requirements.
![]() | Hornet Herder | 30 | |
| In a grizzly bear game with hornets, didn't get stung (or watched someone do this). | |||
Episode One: Best done on third Go Wild event. As simple as not getting stung by any bees in the entire mini-game. The third Go Wild Event has less bees which makes getting this achievement easier. If the Player is still having trouble getting this achievement, they can "fool" the Kinect into losing track of the gamer's head. This is done by putting both arms above the head to distort the head shape. When the bear head disappears from the play area, remain still until the mini-game ends. Achievement will unlock at the end.
![]() | Kitten Catcher | 10
| In a mountain lion game, dropped 6 cubs into the den and none escaped (or watched someone do this). | |||
Episode 2: Go Wild Event One. Grab the first six cubs without letting one get away and the achievement will unlock immediately after the sixth successful drop.
![]() | Feather Buster | 20
| In a mountain lion game, hit 5 or more blue jays in one perfect pounce (or watched someone do this). | |||
Episode 2: Go Wild Event Two. Close to the end, upwards of 5-6 birds will settle in a group before flying away. All birds come one at a time, and there will be a slight pause before all the birds fly away. All birds must be hit in one wave for a perfect pounce, and the achievement will unlock immediately after the successful attempt.
![]() | Bird Watcher | 30 | |
| In a mountain lion game, got 3 perfect pounces in a row (or watched someone do this). | |||
Episode 2: Go Wild Event Two. In the beginning, The waves of birds only consist of 3-4 birds. Get perfect pounces in the first three waves of birds and this achievement will unlock immediately after the third perfect pounce.
![]() | For the Winnie | 10 | |
| In a black bear game, got honeycombs on both paws at once (or watched someone do this). | |||
Episode 3: Go Wild Event Two. Swat the honeycombs until they start overflowing with honey. Swat an overflowing honeycomb with each hand so there is honey on it. The achievement will pop immediately after there is honey on both hands.
![]() | Anteater | 20 | |
| In a black bear game, ate 20 ants in 10 seconds (or watched someone do this). | |||
Episode 3: Go Wild Event Three. Use the strategy in Moth Muncher to earn this achievement.
![]() | Beekeeper | 30 | |
| In a black bear game with bees, didn't get stung (or watched someone do this). | |||
Episode 3: Go Wild Event Three. Use the strategy in Hornet Herder to earn this achievement.
![]() | Snow Way, Man | 10 | |
| In a wolverine game, dodged 3 avalanches in a row (or watched someone do this). | |||
Episode 4: Go Wild Event One. To dodge the avalanches, simply step out of sight of the Kinect camera. Repeat three times and the achievement will unlock after the third successful attempt.
![]() | Look Ma, No Paws | 20
| In a wolverine game, ate 6 pieces of meat without using your paws (or watched someone do this). | |||
Episode 4: Go Wild Event One. After the first avalanche, simply use your face to "dig" through the snow. Your wolverine face will have a small animation eating a piece of meat when you find one. Repeat six times while keeping your hands away from your face and the achievement will unlock after the sixth piece of meat.
![]() | Six Pack | 30 | |
| In a wolverine game, hit 6 wolves in under 6 seconds (or watched someone do this). | |||
Episode 4: Go Wild Event Two. Near the end of the second mini-game, the wolves will appear fast enough to make earning this achievement very easy. Swing your arms in a circular motion and the achievement will unlock after the final wolf has been struck.
![]() | Fish Supper | 10 | |
| In a Kodiak bear game, ate 6 fish in a row without missing any (or watched someone do this). | |||
Episode 5: Go Wild Event One. Simply catch the first six fish without missing one. Achievement will unlock after the sixth fish.
![]() | Bear Brawler | 20 | |
| In a Kodiak bear game with rival bears, didn't get hit (or watched someone do this). | |||
Episode 5: Go Wild Event Two. Score does not matter, so simply hold your hands up in front of your face for the entire mini-game to block all incoming attacks.
![]() | Catch of the Day | 30
| In a Kodiak bear game with pink salmon, didn't let over 2 get away (or watched someone do this). | |||
Episode 5: Go Wild Event One. Pink Salmon move faster than all other fish so although they are easy to see, some effort will have to be made to ensure they do not get away. Score does not matter, so ignore all other fish and make sure that more than two pink salmon are not missed.
![]() | Wily Coyotes | 20 | |
| In a grey wolf game with coyotes, didn't let them steal any food (or watched any player do this). | |||
Episode 6: Go Wild Event One. Wolves take about two seconds to bite and run off with a piece of meat. Simply swat each wolf quickly before they are successful.
![]() | Misbehavin' Ravens | 10
| In a grey wolf game with ravens, didn't let them steal any food (or watched someone do this). | |||
Episode 6: Go Wild Event Two. Similar to the first activity, just faster. The ravens do appear in the same order every time so muscle memory can help if the Player fails to unlock this achievement in the first attempt.
![]() | Top Dog | 30 | |
| In a grey wolf game, got 10 perfect hits in a row against coyotes (or watched someone do this). | |||
Episode 6: Go Wild Event One. Wolves take about two seconds to bite and run off with a piece of meat. The time taken to swat the wolves determine a, "perfect hit" or a "good hit." Be sure to swat every wolf immediately to ensure a perfect hit every time. The achievement unlocks right after the tenth consecutive perfect hit.
![]() | Chick Guardian | 10
| In a great horned owl game, kept all the predators away from the chicks (or watched someone do it). | |||
Episode 7: Go Wild Event Two. Very similar to the wolf defense mini-games from the last episode. The enemies are magpies and snakes, so they will come from 4 directions. Achievement will unlock at the end of the event.
![]() | Balanced Diet | 20 | |
| In a great horned owl game, fed both nests an equal amount of crickets (or watched someone do it). | |||
Episode 7: Go Wild Event One. Can be earned at the same time as Beak Streak if paying attention to how many crickets each nest is getting. Counting out loud makes tracking your progress easier. There may be times that your owl will instantly feed a nest because of how close they are to your face. Simply double up on the other nest to correct the problem.
![]() | Beak Streak | 30 | |
| In a great horned owl game, didn't let any crickets get away (or watched someone do this). | |||
Episode 7: Go Wild Event One. Can be earned at the same time as Beak Streak if paying attention to how many crickets each nest is getting. This one involves catching all crickets in play. The player will have a pretty good idea when they missed one when they have nothing to feed to the nests. Achievement will pop at the end of the event.
![]() | Locked Horns | 10 | |
| In a bighorn sheep game, headbutted all charging rams without being hit (or watched someone do it). | |||
Episode 8: Go Wild Event Three. Event three is a combination of Events one and two; so although it will contain both charging rams and rearing (bitch slapping) rams, it will have less of both of them. Perfect or Good hits do not matter for this achievement, as long as the Player does not receive damage by the end of the event, the achievement will unlock.
![]() | Butt Out! | 20 | |
| Perfectly headbutted all rearing rams without being hit (or watched someone do it). | |||
Episode 8: Go Wild Event Three. Can also be done in Event Two if so desired. Darker rams will stand on hind legs and "slap-fight" the Player. Generally, when the Player wins a slap-fight against the other ram, the headbutt afterwards will always be a perfect hit. Event three is a combination of Events one and two; so although it will contain both charging rams and rearing (slap-fighting) rams, it will have less of both of them. Complete the mini-game to unlock this achievement.
![]() | The Biggest Bighorn | 30
| In a bighorn sheep game, perfectly headbutted 10 rams in a row (or watched someone do this). | |||
Episode 8: Go Wild Event Three. The only achievement to give me any real heartache because there was no guide available. Timing the charging ram counter attack takes some practice, since one, "Good" hit will ruin a perfect run. The solution is to play the third event, make sure the few charging rams are hit are countered with "Perfect" hits and earn enough points to trigger, "Overdrive mode" for the last few seconds. The last attackers will all be rearing rams that can be quickly defeated in overdrive mode for the final perfect hits to earn this potentially difficult achievement.

See "Baah-rilliant!" | |||
![]() | Baah-rilliant! | 30
| Completed the "Yellowstone Winter" episode with a badge. | |||
The episode completion badge achievements are awarded at the end of the full episode. Badge Points are earned through any interactive activities throughout each episode. In order to earn the bronze level badge, the player must accumulate a minimum of three badge points before the end. The player will know they have earned at least three when the badge on the upper left changes from a plan gray to a brown bronze color with a huge BRONZE! indicator. All episode badge achievements are unlocked at the results screen after the final tally.
![]() | You're Golden | 30 | |
| Completed any episode with a Gold Badge. | |||
See "Platinum Performance."
![]() | Platinum Performance | 100
| Completed any episode with a Platinum Badge. | |||
"You're Golden" and "Platinum Performance" are elevated versions of the episode badges earned at the end of an episode. Both achievements are stackable, meaning if the player's performance was good enough for Platinum, then the Gold level achievement will unlock as well. To unlock Platinum Performance, ALL 18 badges must be earned. This includes: all pictures taken, all sidetracks correctly answered and three star performances in all Go Wild activities. Achievements will unlock at the final results screen.
![]() | Party Time | 10 | |
| Earned 3 stars in any game in Party Animal mode (or watched someone do this). | |||
See "Gamesmaster." | |||
![]() | Gamesmaster | 30 | |
| Earned at least 3 stars in 3 games in Party Animal mode (or watched someone do this). | |||
Party Animal Mode is a random mix-up of all the Go Wild activities, back to back. In order to unlock these two achievements, choose the Party Animal option on the lower left of the main menu. Proceed to perform well enough to earn a three star rating in any of the mini-games to unlock Party Time. Repeat two more times to unlock Gamesmaster. Repeating the same mini-game will NOT count as another game played; so in the case where you are in a difficult mini-game, wait until the timer runs down, then choose to continue to the next one.
![]() | Cozy Critter | 15 | |
| Watched what's On Now, Next, and Later all in a row. | |||
From the main menu, the large middle window will lead you to the streaming episodes. As the first episode is buffering, the Player will see three episodes on queue to identify which episodes are on now, next and Later. Start video stream, then leave the Xbox alone for 1-2 hours. Achievement will unlock at the end of the third episode.
![]() | On the Hunt | 15 | |
| Launched a Nat Geo WILD episode. | |||
On the APP's main menu screen, WILD episodes can be located on the upper right. Choose one to start playing and the achievement will unlock after buffering.
| DLC: Season 2 | |||
| Cost: 2400 MSP Achievements: 24 Points: 750 | |||
![]() | Opposing Sides | 15
| In an octopus game, catch an object and place it on the opposite side (or watch someone do this). | |||
In the episode "Jumbo Squid," you will have mini games involving catching falling objects and putting them in the appropriate spot (you will see the same item on the floor of the setting). When an object falls on the left side of the screen, instead of putting it on the same side of the screen (like you would do if you were trying to move quickly), move over to the other side of the screen and place it on the opposite side. The achievement will unlock instantly.
![]() | Shooting Starfish | 30
| In an octopus game, catch and match all starfish in a single game (or watch someone do this). | |||
See "Perfect Match." | |||
![]() | Perfect Match | 50 | |
| In an octopus game with all four objects, match all objects in a game (or watch someone do this). | |||
You can only get this achievement during the second or third mini-games of the "Jumbo Squid" episode. In this game, there are four objects, but the premise is identical to the first mini game. It is far easier to do this in the second mini game, since the third mini game features three or four objects falling at a time. In general, you are better off being closer to the Kinect, since you will be able to react faster. Not only can you not put anything in the wrong spot, but you cannot let anything drop to the bottom. Everything that falls must be put into it's proper place, though if time runs out and you have not yet caught the item, it will not count against you.
![]() | Hey, that's mine! | 15
| As a giant salamander, eat a big tadpole released by another player (or watch someone do this). | |||
You will need a second person for this, or at least something that can act as a second person. A coat on a coat rack will work fine, so long as the second person can move their arms. In the second mini game of "Clash of the Giant Salamanders," you will start seeing big tadpoles. Just have one person dig up their rock pile and have the other person eat it.
![]() | Super Sally | 30 | |
| As a giant salamander, eat 10 big tadpoles before roaring (or watch someone do this). | |||
This can be done in either the second or third mini game of "Clash of the Giant Salamanders," though in the third mini game you might run out of time because just about any noise can cause a roar. As you play through the game, just make sure that anytime you see a big tadpole eat it. Once you get ten, it will pop.
![]() | Chomp Champ | 50 | |
| As a giant salamander, eat 25 tadpoles in 15 secs before roaring (or watch someone do this). | |||
This is actually pretty hard. You might get lucky and have an amazing run on the third mini game of "Clash of the Giant Salamanders," but this is actually quite a large number for the amount of time you have. But, you can make it easier. Just start the game with two players, but only have one person actually playing. This eliminates the recharge time for the rock piles and will allow you to just quickly go back to the other side when you are done. That makes it pretty easy on the third mini game. Not only that, but it is harder to build up a roar when you only have one person playing two parts.
![]() | Chewing the Fat | 15
| In "Closest Encounters," eat 20 pieces of meat in a row (or watch someone do this). | |||
This is really easy in the first mini game. You see mostly regular chunks of meat that fly very slowly, so just catch as many as you can. As soon as you reach 20 without missing any, this will unlock.
![]() | Snappy Snacker | 30
| In "Closest Encounters," eat an entire group of small meat chunks (or watch someone do this). | |||
The small meat chunks do not show up until the second mini game. You will be thrown them in groups of 5, and must get all five. This is actually a bit of a challenge, but you only need to do this once. As a tip, try to move your head back and forth a bit over the group to make sure you get all of them.
![]() | Greedy Guts | 50 | |
| In a "Closest Encounters" game with every type of meat, eat everything (or watch someone do this). | |||
This is by far the hardest achievement in the second season. It is strongly recommended that you get this in the second mini game since you will see far fewer chunks of meat. To unlock this, you will need to get everything that is thrown, not missing even a single chunk from the small groups. You can have things missed and still in the air as time runs out, but nothing can hit the water without being eaten.
![]() | Twin Attack | 15 | |
| As a hippo, hit a rival with your head and another with your hands (or watch someone do this). | |||
You won't be able to do this until the second mini game of the "Undercover Hippo" episode. When you see two hippos on screen at once, just make sure that you headbutt one of them while hitting the other with your hands. The achievement will unlock immediately.
![]() | Sitting Pretty | 30
| In a hippo game, don't get hit by any rival hippos (or watch someone do this). | |||
This is fairly easy in the first mini game of the "Undercover Hippo" episode. You will only face one hippo at a time in this mini game, so just hit them as fast as possible and head butt them if you see an exclamation point. If you managed to maintain your multiplier, you will get this achievement at the end of mini game.
![]() | Angry Angry Hippos | 50
| As a hippo, defeat 5 hippos in 20 secs before roaring (or watch someone do this). | |||
This is the easiest of the timed achievements. In the second mini game of the "Undercover Hippo" episode, you will be faced with fighting two hippos at once, and the head butt can make them go down much quicker. Try and hit both hippos with each swipe and head butt when you see the exclamation point, since it does a great deal of damage. The achievement will pop immediately.
![]() | Pincher Movement | 15
| In a Komodo dragon game, steal a scorpion that another player dug up (or watch someone do this). | |||
Because the mounds that you need to hit are quite low on the screen, it may be difficult to do this with a fake person. A real person is recommended, but not required. All you really need to do is play the first mini game of the "Dragon Hunt" episode, have one person hit the mound to release the scorpions and have the other person lean over to eat the scorpion before it hits the ground.
![]() | Snap Dragon | 30 | |
| In a Komodo dragon game, catch three or more scorpions in one group (or watch someone do this). | |||
You can do this in the second or third mini game of the "Dragon Hunt" Episode. Later in the episode, you will start encountering mounds that throw up scorpions in groups of three (or four in the third mini game). When you see three or four scorpions in the air, just catch all of them. They will usually shoot up fairly straight.
![]() | Scorpion King | 50 | |
| As a Komodo dragon, eat 10 scorpions in 10 secs before roaring (or watch someone do this). | |||
This is a little challenging. On the second or third mini games of the "Dragon Hunt" episode, you will have enough scorpions to pull this off. Toward the end of the third mini game, you should have enough scorpions coming fast enough to get the achievement, but if you do not, you can always start up a two player game and play with only one person doing all of the eating. When you get to the point where you get a few groups of two, three or four scorpions in a row, you should be able to pull this off.
![]() | Flying Fish | 15 | |
| In an alligator game, splash 3 or more fish into the air at once (or watch someone do this). | |||
In the "Phantom Killer" episode, you will be hitting fish into the air in order to eat them. All you need to do is have three fish in the air at once. You can hold off on eating the fish or just wait for a group of a few fish. The achievement will unlock immediately.
![]() | Take the Plunge | 30
| In an alligator game, make 10 perfect catches in a row (or watch someone do this). | |||
This is not that hard in the first mini game of the "Phantom Killer" episode. Essentially what you need to do is catch all the fish in ten groups of fish to get a perfect rating.
![]() | Staying Afloat | 50
| As an alligator, catch 15 fish in 10 secs before roaring (or watch someone do this). | |||
Like with every timed achievement, this is easier with two players. In the second or third mini game of the "Phantom Killer" episode, you will need to catch as many fish as possible. Lots will show up, but more show up in two player games.
![]() | Beginner Squid | 30
| Complete the "Jumbo Squid" episode with a badge. | |||
See "See You Later, Alligator."
![]() | Salamander Commander | 30
| Complete the "Clash of the Giant Salamanders" episode with a badge. | |||
See "See You Later, Alligator."
![]() | Crocodile Cheers | 30
| Complete the "Closest Encounters" episode with a badge. | |||
See "See You Later, Alligator."
![]() | Happy Hippo | 30 | |
| Complete the "Undercover Hippo" episode with a badge. | |||
See "See You Later, Alligator."
![]() | Lizard Wizard | 30 | |
| Complete the "Dragon Hunt" episode with a badge. | |||
See "See You Later, Alligator."
![]() | See You Later, Alligator! | 30
| Complete the "Phantom Killer" episode with a badge. | |||
To get this, you don't have to do much of anything. You only need 3 stars total to get a bronze medal, and you can get them any way you want. So, if you really wanted to, you could just start up the episode, fast forward to the first mini game of the episode, get 3 stars then keep fast forwarding until you get to the results screen. Once the medal is awarded, the achievement will unlock.
![]() | High Five | 15 | |
| In "Crocodile Capture", hit 5 vultures before they land (or watch someone do this). | |||
![]() | Vexed Vultures | 30
| In "Crocodile Capture", prevent all vultures from stealing any meat (or watch someone do this). | |||
![]() | Perfect Predator | 50
| In "Crocodile Capture", achieve a perfect hit for all vultures (or watch someone do this). | |||
![]() | Snake Thief | 15 | |
| In a Snake game, eat a bat scared into the air by another player (or watch someone do this). | |||
![]() | Python Perfectionist | 30
| In a Snake game, complete 3 perfect waves in a row (or watch someone do this). | |||
![]() | Bat Buster | 50 | |
| In a Snake game, catch 16 bats in 10 seconds before hissing (or watch someone do this). | |||
![]() | Croc of the Walk | 30
| Complete the "Crocodile Capture" episode with a badge. | |||
![]() | Junior Herpetologist | 30
| Complete the "Return to the Snake Cave" episode with a badge. | |||
