This will be one of the most time consuming achievements in the game. After every battle, whether it is online, through Story Mode, or in Battle Mode, you will be awarded XP based off your performance in the match. You will get XP for winning the match, using certain moves, and interacting with the environment. Here is a list of some of the XP bonuses you will get naturally:
Win: +250 XP
Time Remaining: (multiply the time remaining by 2 for your XP bonus)
Health Remaining: +200 XP (With Perfect in Both Rounds)
Super Move: +200 XP x1 (Multiplies the use of Super Move x200)
Level Transition: +200 XP x1 (Multiplies the Transitions used x200)
Interactive Object: +50 XP x1 (Multiplies the Interactions used x50)
Environment Destruction: +250 XP OR +500 XP
Perfect Round/Match: +250 XP OR +500 XP
Challenge Completed: +1000 XP OR +5000 XP
Reaching level 50 will most likely come naturally as you work on the Story Mode, Battle Mode and online achievements, but the other 50 levels will take an incredible amount of time to grind out. You can grind out XP by boosting offline with a second controller, or by playing King of the Hill in a Private Lobby with one other friend. It's 50,796,671 XP to reach level 100. Level 90 is approximately the halfway point.
King of the Hill Method:
During the Character Select screen, switch to Theater Mode and before the match begins, Challenges will be listed at the bottom of the screen accordingly to difficulty. Always choose the Hard Challenge(s). Fulfill the Challenge requirement and win the match FLAWLESSLY, and you will be rewarded with a generous amount of XP (5,000+). You can then switch and let your partner complete and win the next Challenge/match. Additionally, you can unlock and purchase Access Cards in the Archives to utilize their Bonus XP for a fixed amount of matches. You will need 84 Access Cards for Hoarder so use them wisely!
Offline Solo Method:
In the Main Menu, head to Gameplay Settings and turn Match Time to OFF. Set up a Local Versus match with a second controller. On your primary account, choose Batman and for the Arena, load up Atlantis. When the match begins, move Batman to the left side of the stage so he is positioned in front of the glass ball. Have your secondary controller move all the way to right so there is a maximum distance between the two characters. Now, you can simply tap continuously to interact with the glass ball. Due to the distance between the two fighters, Batman will jump off the ball and land right in front of it, thus allowing you to repeatedly tap .
Keep in mind that you'll need to complete the match to save your progress. Match Boost XP cards can be bought to speed this up further, but it's best to limit the amount you buy because access cards are needed to earn unlockables in the Archives for the "Hoarder" achievement. You should have enough cards to buy everything by level 68, so after that you're free to buy as many XP boosts as you want.
You can also get streak buffs from winning a couple matches in a row in online multiplayer. These will stack with XP boosts from the archives. For example, you can buy a 5x boost from the archives, then get a 2x boost from winning 3 games in a row, and earn 7x XP. The highest streak buff I've been able to unlock is 5x for winning 40 in a row, for a total of 10x XP. Streak buffs have a time limit, but you will still get the multiplier as long as the match starts before the timer ends.
Important note: You lose your XP boosts when you quit the game, so be sure to make the most of them before turning off your console.
Actually #5 sorry to burst bubbles but i beat story, played over 100 online rank matches and did a whole lot of S.T.A.R missions and im only level 50. It takes me 700,000 exp to level up now and i imagine it will take 1 million exp when you get to the 60's.
To those who might wanna do this the fast way all u gotta do is have a friend go in a private king of the hill with you and make the person that is not the king start a challenge for not getting hit the entire match and winning which can be found under the hard challenges, its also a smart idea if u and or your friend have consistent wins so you can get a 10x streak bonus and it is also smart to buy a 5x multiplier from the archives before you start to get the maximum xp possible.
Make sure yall don't spend too many arcive cards on xp boost so that you miss the Hoarder acgievement. Also I don't know if any of yall would like to do this but if you go into an offline verus match with the game timer off and select batman as your charcater and anyone else as your opponent and pick Alantis as the map. You can more your character to the left and keep using the globe interaction its 50 xp for evertime you use it. Just whenever you get tired of button pressing or whatever defeat the oppenent and recieve your xp. You can also use special kind of prgramable controllers and stuff.
Not my idea. btw. I see this on a youtube video and idk how to properly give the guy credit. i hope that helps. im terrible at wording things so yall are better off looking at the video. good luc
Im at level 64 and it takes about 250,000 xp to get to 65. Here's what I did. Go to offline multiplayer set the timer to infinity and use both controllers. I played as Batman vs. Harley Quinn at the Batcave. Using Batman I threw Air Battarangs until I built up my super meter then hit her with a super move (200xp). Knocked her through a few level transitions (200xp). Then jumped off the elevator repetedly for my level interaction (50xp). While I was charging my super meter/elevator jumping I used Harleys Character Power to regenerate her health meter back to full. Rinse and repeat. After about an 45 mins I killed her and ended the level. I ended up with a win, 14 level transitions, 11 super moves, perfect match, full health, 349 level interactions, and environment destruction, plus a chall
enge bonus. (I think it was Get The FIrst Hit and Win The Match) All said and done I ended up with 25,030 xp points. Plus my x2 archieve card gave me 50,060. Hope this helps. Happy Hunting. Add me to boost some online cheevos. HoardeDude3x6.
Even with boosting methods this is another leave your xbox running while you sleep and/or while your off to work. what is it with netherrealm and these super long to achieve achievements? Do they want to keep players playing the game through this? in my opinion you should keep playing a game because it's awesome and you enjoy, not because it forces you to grind.
anyways, the batman + atlantis interaction technique works well. only thing is once you get to lvls 70 + it really starts to pan out. took about 10 hours for me to go from 79 - 89. get the Hoarder achievement first, that way you don't have to worry about access cards and wasting them on XP boost
A turbo controller is required for the Batman Atlantis boost. I wouldn't recommend doing it past level 85 or so even with the multiplyer, it would take days to reach level 100 at that point. There are better ways like KOTH boosting and Flash using the teleporter in the Hall of Justice room.
what else u can do is to play online and get a streak bonus. Top that off w/ you're booster can go up to 10X the amount. I won 30 in a row, which gave me a 4x multiplier and am currently doing the Batman method w/ a 5x multiplier added on, so I am getting nine times the amount compared to just five. I noticed u get a streak bonus every 5 wins in a row, but not sure above 30 in a row.
So right now I am level 93 and been using the 10x multiplier now (5x for streak and 5x from archives) I did a six hour session and only got four levels. Since I don't have a turbo booster I been doing it manually. It may get extremely boring, but I been re-watching al the justice league episodes that was on CN back in the days. Sure brings back memories, forgot how good the show was.
