To earn this award you must kill 20 of your enemies.

To earn this award you must kill 100 of your enemies.

To earn this award you must kill 250 of your enemies.

To earn this award you must kill 500 of your enemies.

To earn this award you must kill 750 of your enemies.

Simply kill a total of 750 soldiers throughout the war. While going for this, all lesser ranks will unlock.

Pistoleer

To earn this award you must kill 100 of your enemies with your pistol.

This one’s the hardest “weapon” achievement. The pistol takes anywhere from1 -3 shots depending on where you hit them. For easy one shot kills, approach the enemy then back away. The enemy will run at you, once he gets in the running stance, shoot him in the head. Shiloh is a very good mission for this achievement, you will be able to get most, if not all the kills you need on this level. Must be done with the Colt and/or Remington. This achievement is glitched, go for it once you start playing or it may not unlock.

Knife Master

To earn this award you must kill 75 of your enemies with your knife.

For this achievement you must use the Calvary Saber and/or Bowie Knife. Kills take two hits. Just whack em down until you receive the achievement. Make sure to hit them with

and NOT

(melee). This achievement is glitched, go for it once you start playing or it may not unlock.

Melee Hero

To earn this award you must kill 50 of your enemies in close combat.

For this achievement all you have to do is use Melee (

) with any weapon. Once you get 50 you'll get the achievement. This achievement is glitched, go for it once you start playing or it may not unlock.

War Survivor

Complete the game on the Easy (or higher) difficulty setting.

War Veteran

Complete the game on the Normal (or higher) difficulty setting.

War Hero

Complete the game on the Hard difficulty setting.

Complete all battles as both a Union soldier and a Confederate soldier on the Hard setting. You can see what difficulty you’ve done on each battle at the battle select screen. Make sure to put the save feature in this game to good use!! At any time press

and then select Save.

Journalist

To earn this award you must find all secret photographs in the game.

First enter the level on Easy difficulty. First things first, run up to someone and shoot them in the chest. Once hit, either switch to a blade, or melee and only use that for the rest of the level. If you have to shoot, make sure it's dead on. Remember to use grenades. Doing it this way you’ll get all three achievements for each level at once. Repeat for each level.
