You first have to unlock expert difficulty by completing the game on either normal or advanced difficulty. I recommend you play on normal difficulty and then play on expert difficulty which will unlock the advanced difficulty achievement as well. Expert difficulty isn't that hard and can be completed really quickly. I recommend you use the Impedimenta spell throughout the campaign. With this spell all you have to do is mark enemies and then cast it and it will kill all the enemies you have marked in one hit. Use cover often and don't be afraid to backtrack so you don't get surrounded by enemies. Also leave the collecting for your first playthrough so you can just run through this playthrough quickly. All the spells you unlocked on your first playthrough are available to use from the start of your next one.

Simply defeat enemies from cover. It is essential that you stay in cover most of the game anyway. Impedimenta is a good spell to use from cover simply cast it and then you can go back in cover while it finds and hits its target. This achievement should come naturally.

I found it easiest to use Petrificus Totalus (Double tap ) as it shoots straight. Expulso () is also a good spell to use. It's best to get this out of the way at the start so you don't have to deal with Protego shields and tougher enemies.

Expulso is unlocked on 'The Basilisk fang' level. Simply press to select it. Hold the instead of tapping it because it's automatic. You have to complete the game twice and complete challenge mode so you should get this without going out of your way for it.

Double tap to select the Confringo spell. This spell is best used in a crowd of enemies. This should come naturally.

Hold to use Protego. Every spell that hits your shield counts as a spell that you have blocked. This should unlock quite early in the game.

Press to use Expelliarmus. Enemies will first use Protego to defend themselves on 'The Streets of Hogsmeade' level. Every time an enemy uses Protego simply use Expelliarmus on them. Keep doing this until it unlocks and then you can do whatever you want to get past their shields.

You first get this spell on the 'A Job to Do' level. Double tap to select this spell. This spell is sort of like a sniper bullet - it zooms in your reticule and normally defeats an enemy in 1-2 hits. You will use this spell while defending Seamus and will get about 40 paralyzes there.

Use this collectible guide to find all of the collectibles. When you have collected all of the collectibles you will also unlock Listen Up and Full of Character. There is one collectible on 'The Streets of Hogsmeade' that you cannot get until you complete the game because you need to learn Apparate in order to get it. You can simply replay this level after you complete the game and get it. If you go on chapter select it will tell you how many collectibles you have for each level.

I didn't unlock this on my first playthrough even though I am pretty sure I killed every enemy I came across. So you should unlock this while playing through the challenges or your second playthrough. There's no way you can miss this achievement.

I believe triggering explosive reactions means shooting lit torches with spells. I unlocked this accidentally whilst shooting at a torch on the first level while trying to get past the dragon. This should come naturally near the beginning of the game.

This is obtained on the 'A Turn of Events' level. After you defeat Voldemort he will chase you through the castle. To get this you have to destroy less than 10 items while running from him. The objects that slow him down the most are the stone torches, the pillars, and the ceiling. Run past both torches and then as you are running up the second set of stairs shoot the roof down. I made it past this whole section without shooting anything until the first pillar that you can knock down. After this simply shoot at the stone torches and the other pillar and you should be able to do it. If it doesn't unlock during the cutscene quit out and choose continue story. I say quit out because after this cutscene it auto saves and you can't retry it straight away.

Simply complete any challenge with any rating and this will unlock. You first have to unlock the challenges by collecting collectibles that unlock them.

When you get hurt the edges of the screen will become blackened and then after a while the colour will go black and white and then you will be defeated. I would recommend the first level for this achievement as it's the easiest. You should get this without trying on normal difficulty though. Just stay in cover a lot and you should be golden.

Gold standard is the rating below platinum so pay no attention to the first time. Here is a video guide for the challenges.

As you can see the challenges are basically time trials of the story levels. Some levels have bits cut out but most of them are the full level. Use Impedimenta (Double tap ) throughout the challenges except for the 'The Baslisk Fang' level where it's best to use Confringo throughout. The only challenge I struggled with was challenge 7 the trick is to Apparate towards the guys where you need to make the junk fall on them. If you do this they should just run away and you don't have to knock the objects down on to them to proceed. Challenge 8 is also an annoyance simply take it slow and use impedimenta throughout and you should be okay. On the outside part I found it best to run out and then back in again and then defeat the enemies from inside. You can do the challenges in any order and as long as you get gold or better on all of them this will unlock.

This sounds a lot harder than it actually is. I unlocked this halfway through the second level. Impedimenta is a good spell to use to kill enemies fast. It is also good because it can be used at a long distance.

Simply hold to cast Protego and most spells that hit your shield should rebound back to the enemy that fired it. This shouldn't take you long to obtain and is especially effective against the rapid firing enemies.

Refer here for some great locations on where to get it. I personally got it my first time in about two minutes using his written method. Both 'Surrender' and 'Gringotts' are good levels to get this on.

This achievement is accumulative meaning all you have to do is Apparate about 10-20 times and this will unlock. You can first use Apparate on 'The Battle of Hogwarts' level. Just keep using it until this unlocks.

This is really simple to get if you use Expelliarmus to break an enemies Protego shield and then use another spell on him this counts as using more than one spell. You can also mix and match any of spell to defeat enemies. This unlocked midway through the game for me.

When an enemy is within touching distance use Protego and it will harm them and may even kill them. Keep doing this on an enemy until the enemy is defeated. This unlocked for me towards the end of the game.
