 | Comment #6 by General Reeder Wednesday, September 22, 2010 @ 02:27:03 AM I was playing firefight and just going off with the needler I didn't use the needle rifle and after a while ( and a whole lot of super combines later) I randomly got it just do a custom firefight match where your invincible and just have fun you'll eventually get it (Thats what I did and I wasn't planning on getting it) |

You can alter the settings to where damage intake is poor for enemies and just killed 10 enemies. Also make sure you empty the whole clip or shoot until an explosion occurs. |
 | Comment #9 by veresszem Friday, October 01, 2010 @ 05:31:54 AM You have to play the game on NORMAL or harder. That stands for ALL achievements, no achievements can be unlocked in easy. Probably the easiest way to do this one is by starting a FIREFIGHT game alone. Se the difficulty to normal, turn on invulnerability and infinite ammo, select the needler as your primary weapon and start the game. Kill enemies with the needler (just press the fire button until you need to reload. It shouldn't be a problem. |

 | Comment #15 by Kilo666Charlie Thursday, April 14, 2011 @ 12:38:07 PM @xJIMMYxJAZZx: because Bungie likes needlers that's why! this was one of the harder ones for me, seeing as i hate the needler and LOVE the needle rifle, i kept getting headshots with it by accident and running out of ammo... never thought i'd hate getting a headshot until now... so yeah, play on NORMAL or higher, achievements don't unlock on easy. DON'T get headshots (if you're using the rifle) if you turn on scoring (i don't play a mission without it) you'll see a pink medal appear on your screen. get 10 of these and it's yours |

I had lots of incoming grunts which i killed with a dmr until there was an area just overloaded with plasma grenades the grunts dropped, then i waited untill more grunts got there and chucked a sticky (or was it a regular nade?) in, result; super mega chain explosion and this achievement. |
