Use the pedal at the beginning and later on in the song where it's way easier, but you can pass without the pedal :)

I usually play hard/expert drums in rock band, good lord this song is insane. Gonna take some practice, got to 15% without powers then found you could use them, used SP gen and rez, got to 21% lol

I had to pause it a few times to ease the pain a little. You can try that too, but remember if you pause too much, the game won't save anything. If you hit the XBOX menu button before pressing start, then it won't backtrack at all. Not that difficult of an achievement, but frick does it hurt.
