If someone boosts so be it. Just like COD go by them and kill em too until they leave the game or the opponent will do it if they're on your team I'm sure. Also the medals in Halo Reach were a good challenge working up your ranks. Should be the same here too can't wait |

Now assume that each gametype averages 2 minutes (which is definitely not the case.) That is 36000 minutes, which is also 600 hours. Assuming it is 2 minutes each match! Make it 4 minutes and it becomes 1200 hours. Yeah just for those onyx medals, don't get me started on campaign. You have another thing coming. So have fun getting this achievement cause I'm not! For those in score for arcade try to get bronze master at arms medal (100 kills with all starting weapons)get the super reload mutator and play Act 2-5 2-6 3-1 you will get a lot of points if you can keep the mulplier. its not hard, just need to find creative ways of earning them :) |

They had no problem doing it to me 3yrs ago and I didnt cheat a friend was mad cause I had a 66,500 gamerscore and had all his little buddies turn me in and say I cheated. I'm disabled and all I do is play games, I fought with Microsoft on this and they wouldnt change it back. So I had to start over from scratch which pissed me off cause I had all the achievements for Gears 1 & 2, and I was one of the first people to legitimatly get Seriously 2.0. It kills me that people can glitch or hack they way to the top of the leaderboard |

I just hit 61, got maybe 5 onyx medals, mostly horde mode, prob will farm casual bots set to fill private matches for weapon kills, but the way i see it is you shouldn't decide to do this achieve till you've done some work, and then decide whether want to farm it or not, by what i mean is. Finish 800ish achieves in points, Do a clean sweep, Horde mode isn't bad nor is the dlc, so farm that next, get your bonus 250 points, you'll break 1k after that. I am finishing my last 2 horde dlc achieves atm, the 500 rocket kills and the base that fires mortars and hammer of dawn, should have that done in less than a week. basically you want to get it to where you just need socialite and ser |

| Comment #473 by MrHarribo96 Sunday, February 05, 2012 @ 06:17:49 PM for anyone who is looking for doing beast on insane without failing its easy tips below: 1) have 5 people 2) use checkout as its a small map and easy to get around 3) be mainly tickers and wretches first as it spends less money and they do fine 4) Work together, attack the same targets, tickers destroy barriers so others can go through, wretches stun so others kill, etc. 5) when u reach the last round u should be the best one possible whether it beserker or savage grenadier. 6) If you hide, kantus can do well to save money... I then played a massive amount of Horde for a couple of months before putting the game down to play other things. I recently picked the game up again as one of my friends was closing in on the 3.0 achievement (he now has 62 Onyx medals!) and I thought I'd give it a go. I'm now on 35 Onyx medals and I'm a re-upped level 94. Problem is Mass Effect 3 is coming out soon and I'm no where near 3.0. |

You can switch as soon as someone unlocks the berserker. If you do this both will get ready for the heavies, destroy forifications, rounds of beast, kill humans really quickly. Ironically I didn't boost these but helping another poster last night we realised how quick this method is! |

I have 7 ONYX medals and to keep the process from becoming an enormously boring grind I am working on Onyx medals in sets, doing the following each evening after work at the moment: Execute 6 Nemesis 2 controllers om blood drive - I position teh second controller in a back room - run to him 5 times and kill myself, then run to him a 6th time and kill him. Rinse and repeat. Execute 6 nemesis in 15 minutes. Revive 100 teammates Blood drive, Capture the Leader, me and a bot against my second controller, who sits idle the whole match. I just continuously melee down my leader then revive him - 100 revives in 12 minutes. Complete 25 arcade chapters I play House of Sand (chapater 2.2) with a second idle co |

If you doing it for gamerscore its not worth it. if your looking for a challenge its only slightly worth it IF you put the WHOLE ENTIRE effort in to it. (no boosting,no bots,no modding). Its sad cause its not a challenge at allmif you put a childs thought into it, a 10 year old if he wasted the thousands of hours on it could get, it only takes time but just imagine what else you could do with it lets say school stuff or something involving a LIFE career, im not a bookworm, in fact i hate books and school, im not complaining, im just telling you how over realistic your being about this. |

I currently have 42/65 onyx medals and i have just been playing the game. |

Tonight we finished seriously 3.0, I now have 2 accounts that are 5 skunkers away from seriously 3.0 and 2 different accounts that have 29 out of 30 for the events. Glad it's done, it's the last time I ever try for one of these achievements. |

Now back to why we all are really here... This can and most likely will be one of the most time consuming achievements you will have ever attempted to go for. If you are SERIOUS about going for this, you will most certainly have to boost some of the Medals and leave your Xbox on for long periods of time.
