Then simply use the ticker, takes about 5 or 6 hits to down someone. (if you have friends simply get them to down someone for you and you kill them). Also you could just play as a Savage Drone or a wretch and down someone then get yourslef killed, switch over to ticker and claim your kill. |

I have kills with all of the "beasts," but for some reason it won't register the regular ticker for me (the one with the bomb strapped to it's back). I know I've gotten kills with it because there were two downed enemies and when I exploded near them I got the "Two quick kills" ribbon. Just a little frustrating because I have kills with all of the other beasts. Anyone have any idea why it may not be registering? |

 | Comment #14 by Kyrantho Saturday, September 24, 2011 @ 06:28:33 AM It counts overall not just in 1 game, you can restart from current wave as many times as you like to get this, they're all fairly easy to get a kill with. The 1 exception being the Wild Ticker, you'll need another player to down an enemy on their own, then run in and melee them to death with the Wild Ticker, otherwise you'll just get stamped on. |

I think it's the most difficult one due to the fact that it's the only creature without any special trick. What worked for me was taking care of every stranded/CGO member in the room with a higher rank locust. Then, when there's just one left, let it kill you. Then, attack without being notice. Can be done. |

I just got all the kills today in one sitting on solo. |

You basically have to wait for someone to down and oppenent and then hope that you can attack them before someone else kills them first. I kept telling my team mates to help me out but none of those idiots would listen so I finally just had to steal one of their kills when I attacked an opponent they downed. I only need one more kill and thats with Savage Kantus. Unfortunately everytime I unlock his tier I never have enough money to spend on him. No wonder I don't really like Beast mode that much. |

I was always using RT to blow up, with no joy getting the acheivement (even though I had the ribbon for blowing up 3 people with the ticker!). I started again and used the B button and it unlocked straight away. So if anybody is having trouble try that. |

 | Comment #41 by boricua8319 Thursday, November 03, 2011 @ 07:51:35 AM The achievement would not unlock for me if I killed a stranded with the wild ticker. It unlocked when I killed a hero. So I think that in order for your kill to be counted you have to kill a hero with each locust unit. |

Every time I run out of time on Wave 1, I keep any money I earned, but it resets the progress made towards the second-level Locust back to 0%. So I'll never unlock the final-tier Locust that I need to get this achievement. I've finished Beast Mode tons of times playing with others, but I've never unlocked the final tier of Locust because apparently I suck at getting in there for the quick kills. |

However, i am having major problems unlocking the cleaver execution. ggrrrr |

Finally after about 10min of trying with just the wild ticker, I killed a stranded and got the cheevo. Still trying to get the welcome to beast mode achievement. Been trying to get it solo, but only made it to wave 6. |
