I can almost promise you 100% that something like that will happen. |

Experience levels in Gears are based on a percentage of experience gained before that level. If I remember correctly, the half-way point in Gears 2 was around Level 86. |

I played the beta a lot over the course of those three weeks and I believe I only got into the high teens or low 20s. I'm at 37 or 38 now and I haven't played it as much as I played the beta. Just do a lot of King of the Hill matches and if you do well enough, you can easily level up every couple of matches or so. |

I'm level 59 as of right now and still it won't give it to me. It does the regular xbox popup whenever i level up, but then my account like goes blank or something. my picture in the menu when you push the guide button goes blank, my achievements won't show and even on the dashboard it doesn't show my avatar and it says I have no Gamerscore. what is really weird is that when i check achievements in game, it shows the achievement as locked, but the requirment is met (59/50). Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know how to fix this cause this is really annoying to not be able to get an achievement because of a stupid glitch. |

I have an even better one for ya. I got to level 28, over 70% of the ribbons, transfered my sons profile to my xbox, and when he signed in his profile as i was playing, something happened and I was completely reset. I Went back to a level 0 and no ribbons or medals or squat. It was if id never played at all. The only thing it didnt take away were the achievements because they are locked in once they are unlocked. Your problem is sound frustrating also. Youd think they would design these games so that couldn't happen. |

| Comment #57 by Celestial Haven Monday, October 17, 2011 @ 08:58:57 PM Well i got one of my achievements to work, and back @ #54, did you also move over the player data? cause without that it will think you are just starting over as i did today. also a way to get that to fix is if you dont play online, you normally can recover your account, but once you play online or get it to save while connected to xbox live, then the servers sync with your current data and overwrite what you had. |
