Just got it right after you get let in to see griffin. There is a lady in a shop who is inside, behind bars .. she says "I guess all you COGs aint bad afterall" or w/e .. and opens the bars - unlocking the achievement. |

Once you head up to where the stranded are after killing off the lambent horde & pass the first door just before seeing Griffin, there is another door to the right that looks like an armoury, you just walk up to it & if you've done it right then the woman will open the door for you. |

What you have to do is once you are let inside Griffin's floor (When the Ash Man talking to the guard says you need to speak with Griffin) you walk past the furniture like normal, but if you look towards your right there will be a storage room that has bars. You have to wait until the woman behind the counter says that "maybe cogs aren't so bad after all" in order for it to unlock. hope that helps. |

Once inside walk toward where griffin is at the end of the hallway. About half way there you will see what looks like a vault door on the left, look right you will notice a cage door with a vendor behind it. Approach the cage door let her speak and if done right the door will open to the cage( also referred to as griffin secret weapons stash) and the achievement will then update. |

The reason why I think I messed up on it is because I kept on going to Griffin right away. Right before you get to Griffin's office there is a room on the RIGHT that is enclosed by bars. If you walk right up to the bars there is a woman in there that says "guess you COG aren't that bad" if you got the achievement. If you didn't she says something like "damn COG". |

First playthrough I know I failed this because I accidentally knocked into one Ashy when I took cover behind a stone block. Easily done in a fight. Second time I was sure I'd had a clear run, but when the fighting was intense maybe I triggered a polyp blast which destroyed one? I suspect though that it was because I just didn't know to walk up to the bars… Doh! Have to try again, and all for 5GS :-) |

It's easy to determine where an Ash Person is by using the Tac/Com button. Holding down the Tac/Com button while walking, you can see where an Ash Person is because they are outlined with a White line just like your teammates. |
