Introduction
Galaga Legions DX is nothing like the regular Galaga Legions. I gave this a 3 out of 10 because you might struggle hitting par time in a few of the time attacks and you might die a couple times in hard mode, but other than that this game is a complete cake walk. A skilled player can be done in 3-4 hours and a novice player can be done closer to 5-6 hours. The times vary because of the amount of time needed to do the different runs. I'll detail how i did it below. The game is easy because anytime something is about to hit you the game slows down and allows you to dodge. Dying is harder to do than actually beating the levels sometimes. If you do die just memorize how the enemies come out and then adjust your game play and you will be OK. There is also bombs that come out near the larger enemies and they are kind of golden looking but bigger than the normal golden looking balls that come out. If you hit them near the larger enemies it will blow up about every enemy in that wave. So look for them and shoot them and you will quickly learn how it works. You can also use your right stick to aim all around you just move it in the direction you want and it will shoot. Hitting RB or LB will switch to a spread like shot which may be helpful in different situations.
Playthrough 1
I jumped right in and selected area 1 and selected hard. I ran through each area in order and selected hard. The game isn't too bad on hard. You may struggle a little but as i said above just learn the level layout and how the enemies come out and you will be OK, also use the few tips in the introduction above. Doing this will net you 160.
Playthrough 2
I selected championship mode next and ran through this on easy. With the difficulty set to easy this is a breeze. I don't remember exactly how many waves this is but it seemed to end pretty quickly. You really shouldn't have any trouble with this if you did the first playthrough on hard like i mentioned above. This will net you 10.
Playthrough 3
Playthrough 3 is time attack which is basically a replay of every level you just did plus 5 tutorial levels. You can select each box for the desired level. Like for example you go to area 1 then select level 4 then play that and beat it in the time given and then it will put a line through the box showing you completed it. I went straight to level 5 in each area and got them done. If you don't make the target time it will ask if you want to continue. All this does is let you keep playing and if you complete it you WILL NOT get credit for beating it because the time ran out. Only continue if you want practice. I would just hit B to not continue then restart. After completing this you will get the last 30 for the game.
Conclusion
Some would argue a guide isn't needed for this game but i know sometimes i like to know what I'm getting into. I decided to go ahead and do a quick road map and guide to help people out. Overall this is a piece of cake to get 200 on. If you do struggle just keep at it and you will get it.
