Introduction:
Flowerz is a FREE matching type game where the basic premise is to match at least 3 flowers of the same color in order to clear them from the board and advance through the 20 levels. Matching more than 3 flowers are referred to as cascades as they give you more points and clear flowers easier from the boards. As the levels advance, you are introduced to butterflies that change the color of flowers, and spades which can be used to move flowers once they are on the board. Eventually you will be introduced to flowers that have a core color and then a color in the middle which is placed on the board once the core color is cleared.

Standard & Expert Modes:
You are presented with a Standard (Normal) mode and Expert mode in Flowerz. Most of the achievements can be gained by playing Standard mode, but two achievements, Rotating Crops and Clean Slate require you to perform tasks in both modes before you will get the achievment. There is one achievement that is Standard mode ONLY, which is the Master Florist achievement. Otherwise, most of the other achievements can be done in Standard alone, and it is recommended to do them there as it will be overall less stressful for you.

Conclusion:
The two toughest achievements are by far Green Thumb and Clean Slate, but both can be obtained with enough patience, practice, and a little bit of luck sprinkled in. They are difficult enough where an achievement difficulty of 7 is appropriate though, so don't expect them to come easily. Don't expect them to come fast either, as the amount of games played needs to be at least 100 in order to obtain the Flowerz Addict achievement, and the others will take you a while to get as well. Expect around 20-25 hours for the full 200 .

There are 15 achievements with a total of 200 points

  • Complete the first level in a game of Flowerz.

This can be done on either standard or expert difficulty, and if playing on standard you cannot miss it even if you don’t match any flowerz. There are more spaces than flowers in the 1st level, so this is easy on either mode.

  • Create 100 total flower matches in games of Flowerz.

    Please see "Flourist".

  • Play a single game of Standard and Expert modes.

Simply play one game on each difficulty and this will unlock. You don’t need to beat the game, just simply play it.

  • Create a 3 level cascade of flowers.

This is only obtainable while using the flowers with the separate colors inside of them. The game wants you to first create 1 set of 3 flowers. That set then has to have at least 1 flower that changes color, thus creating a 2nd set of 3 flowers. Then, that 2nd set of 3 flowers has to have at least 1 flower that changes colors and creates the 3rd set of flowers.

Pretty confusing, but there are multiple ways to complete this, and you will most likely get it just through playing smart and "planning ahead". Try and always put 'like' colors around your flowers based on the inside and outside color and you should eventually get this achievement through either skill or pure luck.

  • Play 25 games of Flowerz.

    Please see "Flower Addictz".

  • Clear 1,000 total flowers in games of Flowerz.

Simply match at least 3 of the same colored flowers in a row to get them to disappear. Create these flower matches and the flowers will disappear from the board once at least three are matched. You can get around 250-400 flowers per game on average so these total flower achievements shouldn't take long at all.

  • Earn 100,000 total points in games of Flowerz.

    Please see "Flowerz Zen".

  • Match 5 flowers in a single row.

This should come naturally, but if you want to set it up early on, just set up your flowers like, "XX XX", otherwise the flowers will clear if you set it up as 3 in a row. Then, place the last flower in between the other sets of two and the achievement should pop.

  • Clear 12 flowers with a single flower placement.

This achievement will take some skill/planning. To get this achievement, you need to first build a plus sign out of the flowers. Since a row of 3 will clear, doing rows going up, down, left, and right, will get you 9. To get the additional 3, you also have to plan with the color of the flower in the center of the actual flower tile itself. Once you have that set up, all you need to do is to place the next tile that comes up that is that color with a middle color you are also setting up. Placing that tile down should get you the 12 you are looking for.

  • Play 100 games of Flowerz.

The "play 'x' amount of games" achievements are obtainable across both expert and standard difficulty. The quickest way to get them are to not match flowers on purpose and the game will end and count towards the total. However, it is best to just play them out as you need to get the rest of the achievements through normal play anyways.

  • Use 100 total butterflies in games of Flowerz.

Butterflies start to appear during level 3 in standard and straight away in expert and are used to change the color of a flower. The easiest way to get this achievement is to start a game on expert and place the flowerz anywhere. You should get 1 or 2 butterflies, sometimes more. Simply use the butterflies on the first two levels and then lose the game on purpose. This achievement will eventually unlock if you are pursuing the 100 game achievement and 250,000 total point achievement, so it doesn't need to be grinded if you are patient.

  • Earn 250,000 total points in games of Flowerz.

The best way to score points is by playing on Standard and just worrying about the end of game bonuses and not the cascade bonuses during the game. You get bonuses at the end for every free space on your field, and bonuses for time spent.

The best way to score points is by not trying any special cascades or anything complicated. Instead, just be quick and simply match colors and do normal 3 piece combos until you get a game over. You should be scoring around 4-5000 points with around a 10 minute play time per game.

The game does NOT let you know your total right now, so if you have not been manually tracking your scores after each round, then once the 100k total points achievement pops, start tracking from there. Very time consuming and annoying achievement.

  • Reach level 20 in a single game of Standard or Expert mode.

This is by far one of the harder achievements in this game. Reaching level 20 requires patience, planning ahead, and practice. The later levels are not too forgiving for mistakes, but if you practice some general strategies then you should eventually reach it. Basically it is all about level awareness and proper spade/butterfly use.

For level awareness, "LeiChat" provides a good illustration that shows when blocks appear in the middle of the map. It is important to know what level you are on so you can plan these blocks being placed into your strategy.

Proper spade/butterfly use also comes into play in the later levels. What works for you will come with practice, but it's a good general idea to use spades to remove populous flowers from the board, or to move a flower into a prime spot for a later round. Butterflies should be used to create sequences of higher than 3 matches generally.

Practice, practice, practice is the key to this achievement.

  • Clear the board of flowers in Standard and Expert modes.

Clearing the board on standard is fairly easy, but the expert mode should prove to be more difficult. Basically, you will want to try and work towards the middle of the screen, as that sometimes makes it easier to focus on what you need to clear. It's also good to note that if one flower remains, then using the towel on it will also "clear" it and pop the achievement. If you aren't able to clear the board within the first three levels then you should restart as it will be almost impossible to clear the board in later levels. A good amount of luck factors into this as well, so just keep trying and you should eventually get it.

  • Score 9,000 points during a single Standard game.

You should get this sometime during the 17-18th level. Create as many cascades as possible to maximize your score, and note that it says during a standard game, not expert. The best way to get great cascades and bonuses is to try and set up "L" shapes with the flowers for maximum cascade combos.
