Supreme Being Achievement in Final Fantasy XIII-2

  • How to unlock Supreme Being

This achievement requires both Noel and Serah to be Level 99 in all six of their roles in the Crystarium. You are awarded CP for a lot more than just battles (completing quests, collecting fragments, unlocking paradox endings, etc), so you actually might earn this on the way to all the other achievements without putting too much effort into it.

To speed this up a bit though, you can get the Grow Egg Fragment Skill, which is unlocked by collecting all the fragments in the following areas: Bresha Ruins AF005/AF100/AF300 and Yaschas Massif AF010/AF100/AF110/AF01X. Visit the Chocobo Girl in the Serendipity Casino to receive the skill, then be sure to turn it on in the menu.

You could also capture a Green Chocobo (decent healer anyway) and raise it to Level 99 when it unlocks the "CP Plus" skill - this is a bit more difficult though and farming the ingredients to level it will probably take just as long to get the skill itself than it would farming CP another way.

  • Does this mean completing every character's Crystarium?
  • Mhm.
  • Shouldn't be as hard as XIII.. I mean we're only talking 2 characters instead of 6.
  • Does anyone know what the level cap is? I'm guessing 100? I already have them all to about 31/32, 21 hours into the game... Hoping it won't take too long...
  • the lvl cap for each one is 99
  • Is that the cap for the character or the ability?
  • lv. 99 is the cap for each 'role'.
  • ya for the role but u have to get all roles to 99 with both Serah and Noel and heres a link to a vid that even shows u need 99 in all roles http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgOQCBP4oZA&list=PL79DD1913A205C7D8&index=9&feature=plpp_video
  • Academia 400AF is definitely the easiest for farming CP it seems. Lots of battles, short time in between, and minimum of around 300 CP for easy fights.
  • ive got 4 roles maxed and it takes 1k CP to even upgrade any once
  • This achievement helps if you have the Rolling in CP fragment skill :) just get all fragments in Bresha Ruins and Yaschas Massif all timelines.
  • i didnt have the fragment skill when i posted that lol i was at the final boss before i even got any other real fragment skill but the ones u automaticly get lol
  • hmm...i'm around lv.70 to 99 in my character's crystarium, but my level ups are costing 2100k CP per level...off to get more fragments i guess
  • haha well id rather pay 2.1kCP then 2.9k lol
  • I just maxed out last night, while trying to get Lightning's crystal -_______-, I still don't have it but I got Amodar's first try -____-. haha Yea last 10 levels need 3000 CP each.
  • ya i noticed i got maxed out to and i dont have it either i wonder if theirs something else u gotta do
  • wait nvm scratch that i did get it
  • 9# i honestly think that one is a nuisence. Either the undying world, any oreba location or arclyette steppe as usual has the best locations to farm CP even if your wanting to kill undying ceiths or deadly monsters on arclyette steppe such as long gui and immortal. but i honestly think fully developing is more easier before post story.
  • This is by far MUCH easier than the first game. You should get this easily in no time when searching for fragments.
  • So far, the grow egg skill seems to be unnecessary to this one. I have yet to beat the game (I am at the last boss however but have been on a long fragment run) and all of my skills are at level 80. I haven't stayed in a single spot to grind either. I recommend just going for the fragments and see where you end up.
  • Far, far easier than in XIII. Probably a good thing.
  • I'm still going strong and replaying FFXIII-2. The easier/easiest way to grind for CP is to get every fragment in Bresha Ruins and Yaschas Massif and "report" back to the Chocobo Mystic in Serendipity. Once you do so, you'll receive the Encounter Master and Rolling in CP fragment skills. Turn on Rolling in CP and select "More Enemies" in the Encounter Master's options. Head back to Academia and grind your hearts out. :)
