Introduction:
The newest instalment in the FIFA franchise comes in the form of FIFA 11, promising lots of new updates such as Personality+. Take control of your favourite team and lead them to glory!
Breakdown:
All achievements can be done on the Amateur difficulty setting unless stated otherwise.
The first thing you want to do when you load up the game is knock all the easy achievements out of the way. These can all be done in the Arena and Menus. These include:
- Anything in Particular?
- Back of the Net
- Eat My Goal
- Home Maker
- In the Game
- Look at me!
- New Choons
- One to Remember
- Picture Perfect
- Training Time
- Warming the Gloves
- Woodwork & In!
Next, enter the Practice Arena by pressing whilst in the Arena and unlock the following achievements:
- Aerial Threat
- Always Friendly
- Crosser
- Distance Shooter
- Once in a lifetime
- Playmaker
- Poacher
Once you have all these simple achievements out of the way, either by yourself or with two controllers, you can work out knocking out the rest of the achievements in the game. There is no real order to do them in as this game has not story or missable achievements.
You can work on the online achievements first if you wish and to speed up the process you can use the Achievement Trading Thread to find fellow boosters. You can also use the Pro Club Sign Up Thread to find boosters for the Pro Club achievements. The online achievements are as follows:
- Against the Odds
- Club Glory
- Experimental
- First Time Out
- Good Form
- Hundred & Counting
- In for the Win
- One Club Man
- Team Training
- Virtual Debut
- Virtual Football
After (or before) you can work on the new Career Mode achievements, either by quickly simming or playing through the seasons.
- Great Month!
- Good Week*
- Record Holder*
- Mastermind
- It's in the Blood!*
- Folklore*
- Established Keeper*
All the Career Mode achievements with a * can be earned with one Career Mode file simply by simming using the explanation below.
-Create a maximum stats Goalkeeper (99 overall) AFTER you have picked to be a Player at the start of a new Career Mode and select Customised Teams in the Career Mode settings. Pick a team in the MLS League (USA) or in the A-League (AUS) as they have the shortest seasons. Sim through several seasons and you should have all the * achievements.
"Great Month" can also be simmed but will need to be done separately.
"Mastermind" cannot be simmed and must be done by you in a Career Mode match, see achievement for details.
Clean Up/Misc:
There are lots of misc. achievements that can be done whenever or may be unlocked whilst going for the above achievements:
- All My Own Work
- Around the World
- Founding Member
- Home & Away
- Perfect Keeping
- Rising Talent
- Safe Hands
- Virtual Legend
- FIFA for Life
Conclusion:
A fantastic football/soccer game for all fans out there with fairly easy achievements. However some achievements will need to be grinded out and this makes FIFA 11 a game that will take a minimum of 50 hours to completed - but will probably take a lot longer.
