Introduction:
The newest instalment in the FIFA franchise comes in the form of FIFA 11, promising lots of new updates such as Personality+. Take control of your favourite team and lead them to glory!

Breakdown:
All achievements can be done on the Amateur difficulty setting unless stated otherwise.

The first thing you want to do when you load up the game is knock all the easy achievements out of the way. These can all be done in the Arena and Menus. These include:

  • Anything in Particular?
  • Back of the Net
  • Eat My Goal
  • Home Maker
  • In the Game
  • Look at me!
  • New Choons
  • One to Remember
  • Picture Perfect
  • Training Time
  • Warming the Gloves
  • Woodwork & In!

Next, enter the Practice Arena by pressing  whilst in the Arena and unlock the following achievements:

  • Aerial Threat
  • Always Friendly
  • Crosser
  • Distance Shooter
  • Once in a lifetime
  • Playmaker
  • Poacher

Once you have all these simple achievements out of the way, either by yourself or with two controllers, you can work out knocking out the rest of the achievements in the game. There is no real order to do them in as this game has not story or missable achievements.

You can work on the online achievements first if you wish and to speed up the process you can use the Achievement Trading Thread to find fellow boosters. You can also use the Pro Club Sign Up Thread to find boosters for the Pro Club achievements. The online achievements are as follows:

  • Against the Odds
  • Club Glory
  • Experimental
  • First Time Out
  • Good Form
  • Hundred & Counting
  • In for the Win
  • One Club Man
  • Team Training
  • Virtual Debut
  • Virtual Football

After (or before) you can work on the new Career Mode achievements, either by quickly simming or playing through the seasons.

  • Great Month!
  • Good Week*
  • Record Holder*
  • Mastermind
  • It's in the Blood!*
  • Folklore*
  • Established Keeper*

All the Career Mode achievements with a * can be earned with one Career Mode file simply by simming using the explanation below.

-Create a maximum stats Goalkeeper (99 overall) AFTER you have picked to be a Player at the start of a new Career Mode and select Customised Teams in the Career Mode settings. Pick a team in the MLS League (USA) or in the A-League (AUS) as they have the shortest seasons. Sim through several seasons and you should have all the * achievements.

"Great Month" can also be simmed but will need to be done separately.
"Mastermind" cannot be simmed and must be done by you in a Career Mode match, see achievement for details.

Clean Up/Misc:
There are lots of misc. achievements that can be done whenever or may be unlocked whilst going for the above achievements:

  • All My Own Work
  • Around the World
  • Founding Member
  • Home & Away
  • Perfect Keeping
  • Rising Talent
  • Safe Hands
  • Virtual Legend
  • FIFA for Life

Conclusion:
A fantastic football/soccer game for all fans out there with fairly easy achievements. However some achievements will need to be grinded out and this makes FIFA 11 a game that will take a minimum of 50 hours to completed - but will probably take a lot longer.

[X360A would like to thank JC for this road map]

There are 46 achievements with a total of 1000 points

  • Score a header with a player with the Aerial Threat Speciality

Once you've made your Virtual Pro (see 'In the Game') edit him by going to the Main Menu -> VIRTUAL PRO -> EDIT PRO, and make him a Chelsea (Barclays PL) player. The option to change your Virtual Pro's team is on the first page of customization. Once you have done this, go to the arena and press to open the training menu. You will want to make a Training Match with 11 attackers with only a defending Goalkeeper and you will want to be on the side of the attackers and not playing as the Goalkeeper.

Once you have set up the training match, you are ready to get the achievements:

    • Aerial Threat - John Terry and Didier Drogba have the Aerial Threat trait so cross (default controls ) or lobbed through-ball (default controls + ) to either of them at head height then shoot (default controls ) and score with a header.
    • Crosser - Florent Malouda has the Crosser trait so get the ball to him then cross (default controls ) to anyone and have that cross recipient score directly from the cross. You can use any kind of cross to get this achievement.
    • Distance Shooter - Frank Lampard has the Distance Shooter trait so get the ball to him then score from outside the penalty box. The best way to score a shot from outside the box is to run at goal at an angle then shoot (default controls ) with around 25% power towards the far side of the goal. Shooting from closer to the penalty box will make it easier too.
    • Playmaker - Frank Lampard has the Playmaker trait so get the ball to him then keep things simple for yourself and use a ground pass (default controls ) to give the ball to any other player, then score a goal directly from the pass.
    • Poacher - Nicholas Anelka has the Poacher trait so get the ball to him then score a goal from inside the penalty box.

Notes: When I say "Directly" I do not mean that you have to score with your first touch of the ball but rather score with the player within a short period of time and ensure that the ball doesn't touch any other player on the way in to the goal or it may not count.

If you are struggling to get any of the achievements then you can make things easier for yourself by plugging in a second controller, then pressing on the first controller and choosing 'Select Sides'. Now you can put the second controller on the side of the Goalkeeper then when you return to the game you can just move the goalkeeper out of the goal using the second controller.

  • Win a Head to Head Ranked Match using a weaker team

You can boost ranked match achievements with a friend by going to the Main Menu -> XBOX LIVE -> HEAD TO HEAD -> CUSTOM MATCH then on this screen click the , then hold and go to your address book. The address book is basically an in-game version of your friend list where you can invite your friends to matches as well as other things. When you choose to invite your friend to a match, you can change the match type to a Ranked Match.

If by any chance EA Sports patch this and prevent you from inviting friends to ranked matches then you can just go to Custom Match and search for a match at the same time as each other using obscure search criteria.

To get Against the Odds you need to beat an opponent using a team with less stars than his/hers. The team can only be half a star less and still count so for instance, if I use Tottenham Hotspur (4.5 stars) and beat someone using Real Madrid (5 stars) then I will unlock the achievement. I will also unlock the achievement if I use Cameroon (4 stars) and beat someone using Barcelona (5 stars).

If your opponent quits out then you may not get your achievement regardless of if you were winning or not.

This achievement requires Xbox LIVE Gold and an "Online Pass" or the use of your 7 day Online Pass free-trial.

  • Win a Match with Manual Controls (auto-switching must be set to 'Manual')

Go to the Main Menu -> MY FIFA 11 -> SETTINGS & PROFILES -> CONTROLS -> XBOX 360 CONTROLLER and now you need to change the settings to look like this:

    • Auto-Switch = Manual
    • Auto Switching Move Assistance = None
    • Passing Power Assistance = Off
    • Pass Assistance = Manual
    • Through Pass Assistance = Manual
    • Shot Assistance = Manual
    • Cross Assistance = Manual
    • Lob Pass Assistance = Manual
    • Save Assistance = Manual
    • Analog Sprint = Off

Now you can play an Exhibition Match and win it to get the achievement. The game can be very hard using all Manual settings so play a bad team to make things easy. Look at the video guide in 'Rising Talent' for an excellent way to boost and help to do this.

  • Cross for a Friend to score

Plug-in a second controller then go to the arena and on the first controller press to open the training menu. Now go to 'Select Sides' and move the second controller icon on to the same side as the first controller (which should be the attacking side). Now return to the training menu and choose 'Practice Set-Piece' and practice a corner with only a defending Goalkeeper, as many attackers as you want and playing as the attacking team. 1P and 2P will take it in turns to take the corner so make sure you are taking it with the controller of the account you want the achievement with before crying "Glitched Achievement". You also need to ensure that you cross to a 2P player and score with the 2P player. (2P assuming you want the achievement on the account that is using a 1P player).

You do not have to use a corner to get the achievement and you don't have to get it in a training match but it is the easier to get it in a training match and by using Corner practice it is less stressful because after every corner play the game will automatically set-up another corner for you, saving you the hassle of setting up a play manually.

  • Visit the FIFA 11 Store

First ensure you are connected to both Xbox LIVE and the EA Servers then go to the Main Menu, then XBOX LIVE -> FIFA 11 STORE. The achievement will pop-up when the FIFA 11 Store loads up.

  • Play a match with a team from every league

To get this achievement you need to play and finish a match as a team from every league. A match counts as 'finished' when there is no more of the match left to play and you have arrived at the post-match stats screen. You will probably need to return to the Main Menu however to ensure the game is saved properly. Your opponent does not have to be from the same league and you do not have to win the match. You can get this achievement simply enough by playing Exhibition Mode matches in Kick-Off and making the match length 4 minutes per half to make the matches as short as possible and set the difficulty to at least Semi-Pro as it appears people have been having trouble unlocking the achievement on Amateur. Alternatively you can invite your friend to play over Xbox LIVE by going to the Main Menu -> XBOX LIVE -> HEAD TO HEAD -> CUSTOM MATCH then choosing the Play Friend/Party Member option. By doing this you can make matches only 2 minutes long in half-length which will shorten the time even further.

Use Semi-Pro difficulty when setting up your Career Modes as it appears some people have been having trouble unlocking this achievement with the difficulty on Amateur.

Using your Virtual Pro in this technique will also help toward 'Virtual Legend'.

Using the technique in the video you can get the achievement sooner but remember that the more time you would spend playing in Exhibition Mode will help more toward getting the 'FIFA for Life' achievement. It may also be worth pointing out that many people have had problems unlocking this achievement even after claiming to play with a team from every league. I used the technique in the video and got it fine though. Early reports also suggest that by disconnecting your controller at any time during a match you will void that match and the team you were using will not count towards the achievement so you will have to use them again.

I would also suggest saving your game manually before leaving FIFA 11 as I have had issues in the past where my arena accomplishments haven't auto-saved and I had to unlock them again. To do this go to the Main Menu -> MY FIFA 11 -> PROFILE & SETTINGS -> PROFILE MANAGER -> SAVE/LOAD/DELETE.

There are 31 leagues and 3 extra divisions(*) in the game:

    • Australia A-League
    • Austria A. Bundesliga
    • Belgium Pro League
    • Brazil Liga do Brasil
    • Creation Centre Creation Centre (*)
    • Czech Republic Ceska Liga
    • Denmark Superliga
    • England Barclays PL - nPower Championship - nPower League 1 - nPower League 2
    • France Ligue 1 - Ligue 2
    • Germany Bundesliga - 2. Bundesliga
    • International International (*)
    • Italy Serie A - Serie B
    • Korea Republic Sonata K-League
    • Mexico Primera Div Mex
    • Netherlands Eredivisie
    • Norway Tippeligaen
    • Poland Ekstrakissa
    • Portugal Liga Portuguesa
    • Republic of Ireland Irish League (Airtricity League)
    • Rest of World Rest of World (*)
    • Russia Russian League
    • Scotland SPL
    • Spain Liga BBVA - Liga Adelante
    • Sweden Allsvenskan
    • Switzerland Axpo SL
    • Turkey Super Lig
    • United States MLS

Early reports suggest you do not have to play as a team from any of the extra divisions and I can almost totally vouch for this as I unlocked the achievement before finishing a match as a team from the Creation Centre or the Rest of the World.

  • Score 5 goals in one Arena kick-about

The arena is the field you play on when you first start up FIFA 11. You can play there at any time by pressing on the main menu. To get this you must score 5 goals in a single session. Your goal count may be reset to zero if you go to the main menu, change your training type or leave FIFA 11.

  • Win the Cup as part of an online Pro Club

Pro Clubs is the online team play mode for using your Virtual Pro. You and your friends can create a team to use your Virtual Pros in and take on other Pro Clubs. Because you use a Virtual Pro in this mode, you will first need to create one, see 'In the Game' to learn how. Once you have made a Virtual Pro you are ready to create or join a Pro Club. To create a Pro Club go to the Main Menu -> VIRTUAL PRO -> PRO CLUBS -> CREATE A CLUB. Once you've made a Pro Club you can invite other people to it by going to your Player Hub (accessible in a number of ways including clicking the on your Pro Club's menu) then holding and scrolling to your address book. Once in your address book you can select a friend and choose 'Invite to Pro Club'. The invite recipiant can accept the invite by accessing his/her inbox in their Player Hub. There are a few other ways to have people join a Pro Club but this is the standard and most simple way. Once someone has joined a Pro Club they can access the Pro Club's menu by going to the Main Menu -> VIRTUAL PRO -> PRO CLUBS. A Pro Club can play a match by going to the Club's menu then choosing 'Play a Match'. A minimum of 2 players are required to play a Pro Club match so you can not play a Pro Clubs match by yourself. If you need people to join your club or if you need someone else's club to join then you can find help on this thread.

To win the Cup you must play Pro Club Cup matches. To play one of these matches go to your Pro Club's menu then choose 'Play a Match'. As the captain you can select the match type, League, Cup or Practice by pressing . You will want to choose a Cup match and you can start the match search by pressing once you've confirmed your search criteria. For new, lowly-ranked Pro Clubs, there are only 3 rounds, starting from the Quarter-Final. There is only 1 leg per round and if a match is tied after 90 minutes then it will go to extra-time and then penalties if it's still tied after extra-time. You advance rounds by winning matches and if you win the final then the achievement is yours. Unfortunately early reports have suggested that if you win the Final on penalties then the achievement will not unlock.

This achievement requires Xbox LIVE Gold and an "Online Pass" or the use of your 7 day Online Pass free-trial.

  • Create a goal with a cross with a player with the Crossing Speciality

    See "Aerial Threat".

  • Score from outside the box with a player with the Distance Shooter Speciality

    See "Aerial Threat".

  • Upload a Video to EA SPORTS™ Football World

    See "Picture Perfect".

  • Play a season as a Goalkeeper in Career Mode

You can earn six of the seven Career Mode achievements by simply simulating seasons and skipping through menus. The technique basically involves you creating a rated 99 Goalkeeper and then simulating through seasons whilst flicking through a few menus in between seasons. By then end of the technique you should have the following achievements:

    • Established Keeper
    • Folklore
    • Good Week!
    • Great Month!
    • It's in the Blood
    • Record Holder

Follow this technique EXACTLY as you see it and do not leave out any instructions you are told (e.g. making the created player's nationality Australian).

Although I have performed this technique three times across two different accounts and each time got every achievement I wanted*, I have had feedback stating that some people either had to simulate extra seasons or didn't get every achievement they wanted. If you do not get every achievement listed before the video, then simulate extra seasons and you will eventually, for example, become Manager of the Month thus get the 'Great Month!' achievement. You can also try restarting the technique completely and ensure that you have followed all the instructions properly.

Also note that in order to get Record Holder, you need to be connected to the EA Servers from the time you start the Career to the time you first quit out of it.

There is really no reason I can think of that would make this technique work on some people's consoles and not on others so once again, make sure you follow this technique exactly as you see it, ignore instructions at your own risk.

*Record Holder only unlocked twice because I only used two accounts, not three.

  • Play 5 consecutive Head to Head Ranked Matches with different teams

See "Against the Odds" to learn how to boost this achievement with a friend.

To get this achievement you need to use 5 different teams across 5 consecutive ranked matches. For instance, I could use Tottenham Hotspur first then in the second game use Arsenal, then in the third game use Chelsea, then in the fourth game use Newcastle and finally in the fifth game use Barcelona. I could not use Tottenham, Tottenham, Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle to unlock the achievement. The league and team rating of the sides does not matter.

Please note that if someone quits out of any of the matches then your streak of using different teams will be reset to 0 (zero) and you will have to start again from your first match.

This achievement requires Xbox LIVE Gold and an "Online Pass" or the use of your 7 day Online Pass free-trial.

  • Win an online Friends League match

First you or a friend will have to create a Friends League then have the other one join it. To create a Friends League you must go to the Main Menu -> XBOX LIVE -> FRIENDS LEAGUE -> CREATE A LEAGUE then you will want to customize the league but keep the names etc. as simple as possible and don't bother giving it a password. Most of the settings don't matter but you will want to set the max DNF as high as possible to ensure your friend can join your League, you will also want to play at least 2 matches to return the favor to your Friend once you have the achievement and you will want to make the Half Length 2 minutes to get the achievement quicker.

A friend can join another's League by going to the Main Menu -> XBOX LIVE -> FRIENDS LEAGUES -> JOIN A LEAGUE then by entering the relevant search criteria and selecting the right league when it shows up.

After someone joins their friend's League, then you are ready to play a Friends League match. To do this go to Standings and select the other person's name, now choose Invite to Game and you will be taken to the team select screen whilst your friend receives a standard Xbox LIVE "Person wants to play" invite. When your friend joins advance through the menus and have whoever wants the achievement win the match.

This achievement requires Xbox LIVE Gold and an "Online Pass" or the use of your 7 day Online Pass free-trial.

  • Become a Legend as a player in Career Mode

    See "Established Keeper".

  • Include a Creation Centre Team in a Kick-Off match

This achievement requires you to log-on to the EA Sports website using the same account that is linked to your Gamertag. You may have made an EA account when you first played a recent EA title whilst signed-in to Xbox LIVE. This is the account you need to use to sign-in to the EA Sports website. If you are having trouble recovering this account or just need help signing-in in general then watch the following video guide.

For "Founding Member", you can watch the following video guide:

The Creation Centre website is: https://www.ea.com/uk/football/fifa/creation-centre

I recommend you bookmark and download the BYA Boosting Team because it will help you unlock accomplishments easily, see "Rising Talent" for more details.

  • Play 5 consecutive Head to Head Ranked Matches without losing

See 'Against the Odds' to learn how to boost this achievement with a friend. As the achievement says you need to start and finish 5 consecutive Head to Head Ranked Matches without losing.

It is important to note that if someone quits out of one of your matches then your streak will be reset to 0 (zero) regardless of whether or not you were winning at the time.

This achievement requires Xbox LIVE Gold and an "Online Pass" or the use of your 7 day Online Pass free-trial.

  • Play & win in every Stadium

To get this achievement you need to play, win and finish a match in every stadium. A match counts as 'finished' when there is no more of the match left to play and you have arrived at the post-match stats screen. You will probably need to return to the Main Menu however to ensure the game is saved properly. You do not have to play as the same team each time and your opponent's team does not matter. You can get this achievement simply enough by playing Exhibition Mode matches in Kick-Off and making the match length 4 minutes per half to make the matches as short as possible and difficulty at least Semi-Pro as it appears people have been having trouble unlocking the achievement on Amateur.

To change the stadium in Exhibition Mode you go from the Pre-Game Menu to Game Settings and the option to change the stadium is a few selections down on the first page of settings. You can use a second controller and it will not void the match so a good way to get this in exhibition mode is to play the match with two controllers then score as the team you want to win. After scoring you can kick-off with the team that conceded then take the ball to one of the corners and wait for the time to run out. This way you don't have to play the match and you can do something else whilst the time ticks away. This time should also count toward "FIFA for Life".

There are 52 stadia in the game, the ones that can be used by most teams in Career Mode are:

    • Aklaaroa Stadium -- Aloha Park
    • Arena D'Oro -- Century Park Arena
    • Court Lane -- Crown Lane
    • Eastpoint Arena -- El Bombastico
    • El Medio -- El Peducto
    • Estadio de las Artes -- Estadio Del Puebio
    • Estadio Latino -- Estadio Presidente G.Lopes
    • Euro Park -- Forest Park Stadium
    • Ivy Lane -- O Dromo

    • Stade Kokoto -- Stade Municipal
    • Stadion 23. Maj -- Stadion Europa
    • Stadion Hanguk -- Stadion Neder
    • Stadion Olympik -- Town Park
    • Union Park Stadium -- Stadio Delle Alpi

The stadia that must be used by the official team in Career Mode are:

    • Allianz Arena = Bayern/1860 (Germany 1/2)
    • Amsterdam Arena = Ajax (Netherlands 1)
    • Anfield = Liverpool (England 1)
    • Camp Nou = Barcelona (Spain 1)
    • Emirates Stadium = Arsenal (England 1)
    • Estadio Azteca = America (Mexico 1)
    • Estadio Mestalla = Valencia (Spain 1)
    • Estadio Vicente Calderon = Athletico Madrid (Spain 1)
    • Imtech Arena = Hamburg (Germany 1)
    • Old Trafford = Man. UTD (England 1)
    • Olympiastadion = Hertha Berlin (Germany 2)
    • Parc des Princes = Paris St. Germain (France 1)
    • San Siro = AC Milan/Inter (Italy 1)
    • Santiago Bernabiu = Real Madrid (Spain 1)
    • Signal Iduna Park = Borussia Dortmund (Germany 1)
    • St. James' Park = Newcastle (England 1)
    • Stade Gerland = Lyon (France 1)
    • Stade Velodrome = Marseille (France 1)
    • Stadio Olimpico = Lazio (Italy 1)
    • Stamford Bridge = Chelsea (England 1)
    • Veltins Arena = FC Schalke 04 (Germany 1)
    • Wembley Stadium*

    * You can play at this stadium in Career Mode by choosing to play as Chelsea or Manchester United of the English Premier League then skipping to the match that is one week before the first League match. This is the Community Shield match and it takes place at Wembley.

The number next to the country name illustrates what tier division that team is in within the country with 1 being the best/highest division. For example, Chelsea (England 1) means Chelsea are in the highest division in England, i.e. Barclays PL and Hertha Berlin (Germany 2) are in the second highest division in Germany, i.e. 2. Bundesliga.

  • Change the Home Stadium of any team

Go to the Main Menu then choose MY FIFA 11 -> EDIT TEAMS -> STADIUMS and select a team that does not have a stadium officially allocated to them (e.g. Tottenham Hotspur) and change their stadium to something that they weren't already playing at. You do not have to change the stadium name. To save your change you need to press after switching the stadium then choose 'Apply and Exit' then the achievement will pop-up.

  • Play 100 Head to Head Ranked Matches

See "Against the Odds" to learn how to boost this achievement with a friend.

You have to start and finish 100 Head to Head Ranked Matches to get this achievement, you don't have to win the matches. You can check on your progress by going to the Main Menu -> XBOX LIVE -> HEAD TO HEAD -> CUSTOM MATCH then clicking the then holding and scrolling down to Career Stats.

It is important to note that if someone quits out of a match then that match may be recorded in your career stats but it may not count toward the achievement so don't be too alarmed if you surpass 100 matches in your career stats and still don't have the achievement.

This achievement requires Xbox LIVE Gold and an "Online Pass" or the use of your 7 day Online Pass free-trial.

  • Take a Head to Head Ranked Match to extra time with a weaker team

See "Against the Odds" to learn how to boost this achievement with a friend.

A weaker team is a team that has less stars than their opponents. For example, Tottenham Hotspur (4.5 stars) is a weaker team than Real Madrid (5 stars). For those unfamiliar with 'Soccer' language, extra-time is the period of time after Full-Time that is played if the score was tied after Full-Time. Extra-Time isn't played in all types of matches but can be in Head to Head Ranked Matches which is what's important for this achievement. You will need to ensure that after the score is tied at Full-Time, you and your opponent select the same option to either play Extra-Time only or Extra-Time & Penalties. If you and your opponent don't select the same option then the match will end in a draw and you will have to tie another 90 minute match for a chance to go to Extra-Time. The achievement will unlock after the second half of Extra-Time ends and you arrive at the post-match stats screen.

Please note that if someone quits out of the game, regardless of if you were in Extra-Time or not, then the achievement may not unlock.

This achievement requires Xbox LIVE Gold and an "Online Pass" or the use of your 7 day Online Pass free-trial.

  • Create a Virtual Pro

To create a Virtual Pro, go to the Main Menu then VIRTUAL PRO. The Virtual Pro customizer will automatically load up and you can just press to finish making your Pro. The achievement will pop-up after you press when the 'Virtual Pro News' screen shows up.

  • Go from being a Player to the Manager (or Player Manager) in Career Mode

    See "Established Keeper".

  • Download your Game Face from EA SPORTS™ Football World

See "Founding Member" for help signing-in to the EA Sports website.

To get this achievement you need to sign-in to the Game Face editor with the same account that is linked to your Gamertag, make a Game Face then download it on FIFA 11. Here is the link to the Game Face website: https://www.ea.com/uk/football/fifa/game-face

  • Have a substitute score a goal in Career Mode

Go to Career Mode and start a new career as a Manager, the settings don't matter but you will want to put the match difficulty on Amateur and Half Length as long as possible to make this achievement easier for you. When the season starts, skip to your first match (it can be a friendly) in the calender then play the match. Before the game, go to Team Management and select a 4-3-3 formation, this is not essential but it will make things easier for you. Now start the match and as soon as it begins pause the game and go to Team Management again. Now substitute the 3 strikers/forwards you have on the pitch for any 3 players that are on the substitutes bench. When there is a break in play (e.g. the ball goes off, a foul is commited) the substitutes will be made. Now just score a goal with any of the players you just brought on from the substitutes bench and the achievement is yours.

  • Import your own sounds into the game using the Custom Music & Chants feature

Here is a simple step-by-step guide on how to get this achievement.

Note that only Record-Label published CDs and finalized CD-R disks can be ripped, music from USBs or CD-RWs can't.

  • Score as the Goalkeeper in any match

Go to the arena then press to open the training menu. Now set-up a Training Match with any number of attackers and only a defending Goalkeeper. Play as the attackers and don't play as the Goalkeeper. When the training match starts, pass the ball back to your Goalkeeper then run with the ball with the goalkeeper all the way to the other side of the field and score as your Goalkeeper.

  • Play 50 matches for the same online Pro Club

See "Club Glory" for more information on Pro Clubs, including how to make one and join one.

Go to your Pro Club's menu then 'Play a Match'. If you are the first person on your team to take a place in the starting line-up then you will be the Captain. As the captain you can select the match type, League, Cup or Practice by pressing . You will want to choose either a League or Cup match because these matches are tracked progress of. You can start the match search by pressing once you've confirmed your search criteria. You will need to start and finish 50 of these matches to get the achievement and they don't all have to be of the same type, for instance, you can play 30 League matches and 20 Cup matches. To check your progress go to your Pro Club's menu, then choose Club -> Squad.

Please note that if matches do not finish properly, i.e. too many quit out, then that match may show up in your Club Stats but it won't count towards the achievement, so don't be too concerned if you surpass 50 in your stats and still don't have the achievement.

  • Save a highlight to the Replay Theatre

  • Play as the Goalkeeper in a Kick-Off match & finish with 100% Saving Accuracy

This achievement can be a little tricky to boost because you need to make at least 1 save in the match to get 100% saving accuracy (no saves will result in 0%) but at the same time you don't want to get overwhelmed and have to deal with too many shots because otherwise you risk conceding. I found a good way to boost this is to create the Boosting Formation (see the video guide for "Rising Talent") then go to Kick Off -> BE A PRO: GOALKEEPER to set-up the valid match type for this achievement. You will want to play as Brazil (with Julio Cesar as goalkeeper) and play against Charlton Athletic of the English nPower League 1. Before the match starts however, you will want to go to Team Management and give yourself, Brazil and the Boosting Formation. You will also want to go to Match Settings and ensure that on the Xbox Controller page, you have save assistance, and any other assistance you think will help you, On. The 'Be a Pro' settings page will also have some assistance that you can toggle On or Off. You will want to use Semi-Pro difficulty to ensure your opponents are competent enough to make a good forward pass and take a shot.

When the match starts, keep pressing until your balance is 'Ultra Offensive', now Brazil should be playing really high with only 1 defender. This should allow Charlton an opportunity early on to take a shot. If it goes in, it happens early so restarting the match shouldn't be an issue, if you make the save then you will want to change Brazil's tactics once again. You will want to pause the game and go to Team Management then change Brazil's formation to something defensive like 5-4-1, this should help prevent Charlton from building any more attacks that could potentially see you concede a goal and void your achievement. Once you've done this return to the game and keep pressing until your balance is 'Ultra Defensive'. To further reduce Charlton's chances to score, if you get the ball you can just keep running it up and down your side of the field until Half/Full-Time. The achievement will unlock on the post-match stats page if you kept a clean sheet and made a save. Note that if the game ends 0-0 then you should just end the match as a draw instead of playing extra-time and the achievement will still unlock.

  • Upload a Screenshot to EA SPORTS™ Football World

The quickest way to get these are to just score a goal in the arena then when the slow-mo replay is on, press to enter the replay menu. Close the help page that may show up then click the to take a picture. Save it to any slot and the Picture Perfect achievement will pop up after it's done saving. When that is done you can press on the replay menu to either save the video replay or upload the video replay. After the replay is done saving to a slot under either option the correponding achievement will pop up, "One to Remember" for saving to the replay theatre and "Eat my Goal" for uploading to EA Sports Football World.

  • Complete 100 Accomplishments with your Virtual Pro

Accomplishments are special tasks that your Virtual Pro must perform. Completing an accomplishment will upgrade one of your Virtual Pro's stats. You can view your Accomplishments at any time from the Main Menu -> VIRTUAL PRO -> ACCOMPLISHMENTS and also during a single-player game from the Pause Menu. As the description says, you need to complete 100 of these accomplishments for the achievement but this is not an as daunting task as you may think. There are many accomplishments that require almost nothing from you, i.e. Complete 4 ground passes (default controls ) in a match etc. I recommend targeting all the Arena, Beginner Shooting, Beginner Passing and Beginner Mental Accomplishments as these are all very simple and only require tasks that can be competed in 1-2 matches.

One more thing to note is that not all accomplishments can be unlocked on the easier difficulty settings or with two controllers. Make sure you check the header on every accomplishment page on the in-game accomplishment list to see what difficulty etc. you are allowed to play on in order to unlock the accomplishments on that particular page.

  • Play any match as the Goalkeeper with no Assistance

First from the Main Menu go to My FIFA 11 -> SETTINGS & PROFILES -> CONTROLS -> XBOX 360 CONTROLLER. Now on the first page of settings you need to turn Save Assistance to 'Manual'. Now start a Be a Pro: Goalkeeper Kick-Off match as any team against any team. Once in the pre-game menu you need to go to Game Settings and on the Be a Pro: Player page you must turn all 4 options 'Off'. Now you are ready to start the match and once you finish it and arrive at the post-match stats page then you will get the achievement. You do not have to win the match etc. and if the match ends in a draw after 90 minutes you don't have to play extra-time.

  • Play a Practice Match with your online Pro Club

See "Club Glory" for more information on Pro Clubs including how to make one and join one.

Go to your Pro Club's menu then choose 'Play a Match'. If you are the first person on your team to take a place in the starting line-up then you will be the Captain. As the captain you can select the match type, League, Cup or Practice by pressing . You will want to select Practice Match then start the match by pressing after confirming your selection. The achievement will unlock after either the match finishes or all of your other team-mates quit.

This achievement requires Xbox LIVE Gold and an "Online Pass" or the use of your 7 day Online Pass free-trial.

  • Work on your skills in any Arena Practice Mode

When in the arena press to bring up the training menu then select either Practice Match or Practice Set-Piece. When the next mini-menu shows up press to set-up the default practice and the achievement will pop-up shortly after.

  • Play an online Pro Club or Pro Ranked match with your Virtual Pro

You can get this by yourself by entering a Pro Ranked Match online. To do this go to the Main Menu -> VIRTUAL PRO -> PRO RANKED MATCH. Start one these matches and the achievement will unlock a few seconds in to the match. Please remember however that people play this mode for fun too and quitting early could ruin their experience.

This achievement requires Xbox LIVE Gold and an "Online Pass" or the use of your 7 day Online Pass free-trial.

  • Play a Pro Clubs match as a team of 10 or more

See "Club Glory" for more information on Pro Clubs including how to make one and join one.

Go to your Pro Club's menu then 'Play a Match'. If you are your team's leader then I suggest you make sure that you are captain. If you are the first person on your team to take a place in the starting line-up then you will be the Captain. You will need 9 other players on your team and in the starting line-up when you start your match search, giving you a total of 10 players. The achievement won't unlock when the match starts but will shortly in to the game just as long as there are still 10 human players on your team connected to the match.

You can go to and use this thread to help organize a team to get this achievement with.

This achievement requires Xbox LIVE Gold and an "Online Pass" or the use of your 7 day Online Pass free-trial.

  • Play 500 matches with your Virtual Pro

To have a match count toward your total you must have your Virtual Pro appear on the field in the match and then 'complete' the match. The length of the match, difficulty etc. doesn't matter, just as long as you 'complete' it. You can complete a match by either having it finish by any means (e.g. Full-Time, Penalties) or by having the remainder of the match simulated. Using the second method you are actually able to 'complete' matches within a minute of starting a match.

You can get a rough estimate of how many games your Virtual Pro has played by going to the Main Menu -> MY FIFA 11 -> SETTINGS & PROFILE -> FIFA 11 PROFILE -> PROFILE MANAGER then in the top-right corner you can see how many games you've played in total. You will need to deduct your ranked matches off this number so go to the Main Menu -> XBOX LIVE -> MY FIFA 11 ONLINE -> PLAYER HUB then hold and scroll to Career Stats. Take away your Games Played from here from the number you read on your Profile Manager to get the total number of games you've played where Virtual Pros are allowed. You may or may not have used your Virtual Pro in every one of these games so this is only a rough estimate.

Please note that if your controller disconnects at any time during a match then that match may not count toward your total.

  • Make 10 saves in 1 Arena kick-about

To play as the goalkeeper in the arena you can either edit your Virtual Pro's position to make him a Goalkeeper or go to the arena and press then choose select sides and put your controller icon on the side of the Defending Side. Now make 10 saves and don't go to the Main Menu, change your training type or leave FIFA 11 or your save count may be reset to zero. To dive as the Goalkeeper you move the in the direction you want to dive but even if the ball is shot straight at you it still counts as a save so don't think that you have to dive to get credited with a save.

You have an infinite amount of time to make the 10 saves but if you are struggling you can connect a second controller then press on the first controller, go to 'Select Sides' then move the second controller icon to the attacking side. Now the second controller is the shooter so you can hit slow finesse shots (default controls + ) at goal allowing you to make easy saves with the first controller (i.e. the Goalkeeper).

  • Score off the post or cross bar in a match

This can be a little tricky to deliberately boost but there is a way. Press whilst in the arena then set-up a training match with any number of attackers, only an opposition goalkeeper, play as the attackers and don't play as the Goalkeeper. Keep shooting and eventually you will get this.

Secret achievements

  • Spend 50 hours on the pitch

This achievement will require dedication and there is no way to get around it. Please note that this achievement, as it says in the description, must be worked toward with with actual time spent playing, not just flicking through menus or pausing the game.

I should also point out that due to the nature of other achievements in this game, I would recommend not allowing any of the controllers to disconnect at any time during a match as this may void the match and the time you spent may not count.
