I'm guessing it has to be one of the path of the hunter side quests. Or has to be a rare mammal rather than bird

To play these quests you need to liberate Outposts. The spawn area of the animals will be shown during the quests. You can see a red "Rare" stamp on the hunter posters if the quest features rare animals.

	Comment #8 by TheShadowKws84 Tuesday, December 11, 2012 @ 06:57:01 PM You can unlock it during any of the "Path of the Hunter" quests. I unlocked it after spending an hr and a half trying to kill a black panther. There's also a leopard in the area (I guess placed there for distraction). If you have a powerful enough sniper rifle, shoot it from a distance before pursuing the panther. My advice: Lure the panther to the area where you equip your bow 'n arrow. Stand as far back as you can on the concrete railing. If the panther stays in one spot, fire 5-6 arrows into him, jump down when he dies, cut him open, and the 20g is yours.

	Comment #12 by tenjackten Sunday, March 24, 2013 @ 12:16:56 PM DON'T FORGET - skin all of the solo animals (meaning not the "kill 5 hyenas" type) on the path of the hunter quests, you will need the leather for crafting the best packs.
