![]() | Comment #1 by XCVii 007 Tuesday, November 27, 2012 @ 03:58:11 AM There are 120 relics, but you can buy maps to reveal them. It's just a matter of hunting them down. |
![]() | Comment #2 by tjevo9 Tuesday, November 27, 2012 @ 05:41:53 PM Is this like Uncharted's Treasures or Far Cry 2's Diamonds? |
![]() | Comment #3 by tjevo9 Thursday, November 29, 2012 @ 12:05:11 PM By that I mean, are they all different in appearance or are they a specific item, like the Diamonds in Far Cry 2 or the Hidden Packages in Grand Theft Auto 3? |
![]() | Comment #4 by qbavoo Saturday, December 01, 2012 @ 05:40:05 PM There are 4 types of them. A shark, boar, heron and a spider. All made of stone. |

![]() | Comment #6 by Chiii Wednesday, December 12, 2012 @ 02:34:34 AM I agree with #5. |
![]() | Comment #7 by Rampagin Sheep Wednesday, December 12, 2012 @ 02:08:07 PM Does anyone know if you get anything for collecting all 120? It doesn't seem like it since there is no star at the end on the tracker guide, and I don't want to waste my time if there is no reason. |
![]() | Comment #8 by Spyker09 Wednesday, December 12, 2012 @ 04:58:02 PM I don't think you get anything as an actual reward, as far as I know at least, I think it just goes towards 100% completion if you get them all, and you fill more dots on the tattoo. I'm pretty sure that's it anyway. |
![]() | Comment #9 by Rampagin Sheep Thursday, December 13, 2012 @ 10:23:17 AM Though that's pretty boring, I'm also rather thankful it is. |
![]() | Comment #10 by QuackPuppy Thursday, December 13, 2012 @ 06:45:30 PM All you have to do is buy the item maps for all the places. Then it will show all the relics on the map. Just fast travel to locations where there is a lot of them close together if possible and keep collecting them until you reach 60 and the achievement. generally a lot of them are in caves. |
![]() | Comment #11 by MR SALTINE786 Thursday, December 27, 2012 @ 08:24:31 PM I keep getting to places that have this "weird" door with a symbol that looks like a 9 in a circle... and i have to get past this door for the relic... what do i have to do to get past them? |
![]() | Comment #12 by MR SALTINE786 Thursday, December 27, 2012 @ 08:31:10 PM nvm use c4... lol explosives are always the answer |
![]() | Comment #13 by im th3 dude Friday, December 28, 2012 @ 02:28:40 PM I was looking for the answer to: "I keep getting to places that have this "weird" door with a symbol that looks like a 9 in a circle... and i have to get past this door for the relic... what do i have to do to get past them?" as well. Does anyone know how to open those doors. They are throughout the game. Thanks |

![]() | Comment #15 by aRatherGoodNoob Saturday, December 29, 2012 @ 10:38:03 AM This is by far the hardest achievement the game has to offer. All the other achievements are easily obtained just by playing throughout the game, but this takes time. Took me a good 4 hrs after finishing. Advice: Finish the campaign, buy all the maps that show items, not loot (unless you want loads of cash to buy nothing?:P), then go round the outskirts of both islands collecting the ones under water or on little islands. These stack up fast! Then go get the other ones around the shores or near outposts. The ones in thick, high jungle often have hidden entrances and can be a pain. Good Luck! :) |
![]() | Comment #16 by Tsaako Monday, December 31, 2012 @ 05:11:13 PM This was relatively easy, it's just tedious and boring. Few tips though, always look for black markings on your mini map. Those indicate cave entrances and they lead to the nearby relic. If you come across a door with a symbol on it, throw some C4 or a Frag grenade at it to blow it open. |
![]() | Comment #17 by DMTravis Tuesday, January 01, 2013 @ 07:41:41 PM What i've done to make it easy on myself is to buy the maps and clear every radio "zone" before i move on to the next one. That gives me a chance to complete everything while I run around hunting the collectibles. So far I am at 35 statues and 6 letters/usb's |
![]() | Comment #18 by The Kingslayer Friday, January 04, 2013 @ 01:31:45 PM There's one relic I can't find that's inside a waterfall. |
![]() | Comment #19 by Jonny1872 Tuesday, January 15, 2013 @ 03:18:37 AM @18 It is this one you are having trouble at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OncEyvrQzS0 |
![]() | Comment #20 by MrManslaughter Sunday, January 27, 2013 @ 10:21:55 AM I'm just glad you didn't need to collect all 120 |
![]() | Comment #21 by Pudlite Saturday, February 02, 2013 @ 12:41:10 PM I like the way they made a collectible achievement somewhat enjoyable to get. They didn't make us get all of them and I enjoy trying to figure out how to get to some of them. |
![]() | Comment #22 by beefkoby Tuesday, February 12, 2013 @ 06:41:17 AM If it wasn't for the achievement, this would have gone nowhere for me. |
![]() | Comment #23 by KountryBlumpkin Sunday, February 24, 2013 @ 09:08:55 PM I used this link to help me find all the relics I needed. While some of them are not completely accurate with the right coordinates, it's still within one or two coordinate points. http://gamewise.co/games/13969/Far-Cry-3/Collectibles/Relics |
![]() | Comment #24 by Kin3tiks Tuesday, March 12, 2013 @ 01:27:49 PM You can also just use a shotgun on the stone doors blocking access to the relics. |
![]() | Comment #25 by Crispo Wednesday, March 20, 2013 @ 05:29:12 PM Couple of tips , Always tag a relic you are after with a way point as it gives you the height of it's location aswell as distance. Where caves are easily identifiable with a black mark on the map some underwater caves aren't Look for a trail of blue leaves that mark the route like breadcrumbs! |
![]() | Comment #26 by MrFalloutGuy Monday, March 25, 2013 @ 03:51:05 PM This is definently a pain in the ass |
