  • no help with these blasted ingots, i stopped playing cause i couldn't find like 8 more out of the 100 total, in that one area they tell u to look. so i was wondering.. if may be u find the rest on ur way back or at another location????? plz give me a map
  • I just finished this one...I had to go back through a couple of times until I finally found them all. A couple of places I found ingots that I had missed: the pile of barrels guarded by the Trogs near the entrance to the Scrapyard, and inside the plant at the end of a tunnel. I had missed the ingots that were upside down.
  • I had to do this quest 4 times before it finally gave me the achievement. It is so buggy that it's not even funny. My suggestion is to follow the link that's in the achievement guide on this site, follow every step in the video on that site in exactly that order, and just collect all 100 in one go. Don't even bother handing the first 10 in, go for all 100.
  • http://media.wouldyoukindly.com/the-pitt-steel-ingot-locations-video/ that's the video I used to get it.
  • good thing I like 'sploring... but trogs are nasty.
  • This is the worst achievement in the worst dlc pack for this amazing game. Good luck folks. I used a youtube guide that was pretty helpful. He had it broken into 3 parts I think.
  • I read somewhere that if the achievement doesn't pop when you hand them in a few at a time, you have to kill him to receive it? Is this true? And if so, do I just shoot him in the face and hope it pops up?
  • This achievement is a huge pain since the DLC is very glitchy. You will have to do things over and over to get this one. At one point I spent 3 hours falling through a mystery hole in a roof before I could move on. Make sure you save early and often throughout the DLC.
  • I have found that same "Mystery Hole" myself. It was nothing short of annoying.
  • Make sure that when you find all 100, that you turn them into the guy. The achievement won't pop until you hand them in.
  • Wait, I am curious about the killing the guy question. If I had turned them in a few a t a time already can I just blow the guy away and get the achievement or do I have to re-do my collection?
  • I CAN NEVER GET THIS ACHIEVEMENT. On my fourth playthrough of the game i decided to try it one more time and then i get a glitch where i fall through the stairs near the top and die everytime. -____-
  • Like #10 said, achievement's not popping until you trade them all in.
  • Hmm... Put me down as lucky, then. Didn't have the mystery hole, and the achievement popped first try. Found them all before turning them in.
  • Two times for me, luckily I saved at 97 and just had to go back and get the last 3 in the abandoned area. The first time I just kept hitting 'A' to get through the scene and it didn't unlock. The second time I listened to all the dialogue and it gave me the achievement, so maybe that's something?
  • This achievement is extremely tedious. I can't imagine doing it without a guide. It probably took me two hours to get them all. You get the achievement after you turn them all in.
  • This goes on my 'most f-ing annoying' achievement list.. =|
  • ...I'll never quite get why developers think it's cool to make people find 100 or more 'secret' things. A few items are fine but honestly... several extra hours of un-fun gameplay? These are the sort of achievements that make me want to resort to guides before trying fair & square.
  • I followed the guide to the "T" and only had 98. I was pissed
  • I got this one whitout using a guide :P
  • hi. what is name of the quest giver?
  • the guy you give the ingots to is everett
  • One of the most annoying achievements I've earned :/
  • I'm so mad that I can't finish this because of a clipping glitch that causes me to fall and die!
  • You need 50 lock-picking to get this, my last 6 are behind an average locked door in the power supply room
  • You should have 97 ingots before you leave the Mill. The last 3 you get on the way back to Everest. A lot of people keep freaking out when they can't find those last 3 but you have to wait for the Trogs to break through the fence.
  • Was I the only one wit little trouble wth this?
  • I hate achievements like this
  • I got this one glitched :'(
  • I found 97... Then used the Fall Out wiki to help me with the last three. Wasn't to bad of a go. I got all 100 the first time I went out. When you get back you return 10 ingots at a time. After each 10 the slaver gives you an item. After the last item I chose to "leave now" and the achievement popped.
  • I am having trouble. I gave 10 to Everett, then 10 to the quest giver, I have 80 ingots, but still no achievement. Any help?
  • I got 99 ingots. FUUUUUUUUU
  • i previously on my old save got all achievement's besides this one, I got banned, so i am going to get them all in one go. I am really pissed though
  • i got this one today first go, Look up orcidea walkthrough on youtube and follow every step it's really good. I very proud to have Mill worker and Alien Arcivist (spelling is so off!)
  • It's like a stupid maze full of Trogs...
  • Got this one using a 5-part YouTube Video. Here's part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMfTW47T3uk
  • Achievements like this really piss me off. I just want to have fun and play the game. Finding 100 steel ingots is so annoying. Reminds me of the Assassin's Creed flags or Nico Belic shooting pigeons. C'mon Bethesda, you're better than this.
  • Very helpful video on youtubw by someone named oricidea( i think thats how u spell it). Just follow exaclty what he did in it and it should take no longer than 20 min for ya. Just search fallout 3 steel ingot loations and click on the first one with over 600,000 views
  • I would highly suggest RoosterTeeth's guide for this achievement. Anyone who is familiar with them knows that they do good work. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMfTW47T3uk
  • I agree with 39. thats the guide I used. also for those who have missed some and are unsure which ones they are missing, the three I missed were 1 by the radiation barrels, 1 in the mine cart that has the health kit and ammo box in it and 1 of the 12 on the very top of that huge structure.
  • Solve the mystery hole by restarting the game. Hold the LB, RB and X while game screen is loading. Keep holding until you get the start option. This clears the game cache and will solve the issue.
  • Real easy...with a guide.
  • Fuck it, I'll just restart my entire game once this is my last achievement. I killed everett unfortunately. It will be easier anyways so I can follow the guide exactly from the start.
  • Yes! I finally got it. It wasn't that bad at all. I hate to say it, but this achievement is like one of my favorites. I usually hate collectables achievements, but I liked this one. It wasn't that time consuming at all. Took me about 30 mins-hour. The most time consuming achievement I've done is the 100 Feathers in Assassins Creed 2 and the Abstergo glyphs. Those achievements are fucking annoying and boring. By the way, if you're not at a high level, I'd just restart the whole game of Fallout 3 and follow the guide exactly from the start.
  • GUYS DO NOT FOLLOW THE GUIDE THAT IS ON THIS SITE!IT IS REALLY REALLY BAD. watch this one instead alot more clearer and understandable with this on i found https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m51j9Byx_nI have fun
