Introduction:
Enemy Territory is a storyless, MP-heavy FPS where you play the same 12 levels over and over again in different modes. There are no collectables or do-this-at-a-certain-point achievements to worry about. While the game has it's tougher moments, the biggest challenge is remaining adamant about not throwing the towel, but hold out and grind stars and challenges out to the end. The game has a helpful 'Achievements' submenu you can consult to check on your progress towards achievements.
Glitches / Stat wipes:
Some people complain about their multiplayer stats not counting, this seems to occur when you're not connected to the leaderboard. Occasionally check to make sure this is not the case for you. Should your stats be reset, dashboard and wipe your cache, then restart. This will prompt you to re-download the game update, and also retrieve your stats from the game's servers.
Step 1: Training (1 for 15):
Select Training and play the tutorial to knock out "Groundwork."
Step 2: Instant Action First on Stopwatch, then Objective (9 for 115):
Use following settings: Game Type: Stopwatch, Time Limit: 30 minutes, Max Players: 4, Difficulty: Easy, Bots Finish Tasks: no
Play each map, but read the description first and play as the faction that is attacking. Once completed you'll switch sides and defend for as long as it took you to win as the opposing force. Once done with Stopwatch, switch the game mode to Objective, and play all maps once more as the attacking side. Now that you're familiar with the missions, you can move on to campaign and pick the side you prefer.
Step 3: Campaign (19 for 440):
Difficulties do not stack, so you'll have to play the campaign through three times. You can play as either faction. While playing, do your best to obtain three stars for each class once per difficulty. Northern Europe as GDF and Africa as Strogg are good for this, as each mission in those campaigns is a 20-minute defense mission that gives you ample time to gather stars.
Step 3b: Grind Campaign Stars:
Play short campaigns where you're attacking on Easy over and over again, until you've accumulated 100 campaign stars.
Step 4: Multiplayer (21 for 430):
Multiplayer achievements can be earned in private matches with just two people. Lobbies don't need to be filled, but remember to set bot difficulty to hard.
Laus Domini has written an excellent MP-boosting guide you can read here.
Conclusion:
Tactical thinking along with proper class selection will get you further than fast reflexes alone. Persevere, and 1000 will be yours!
